DRIVEN BY QUALITY AND FOCUSED ON SERVICE - THAT’S HOW WE SOAR GearHart Aviation Services is an airside services company, headquartered in Greensboro, North Carolina. With over 300 quality-driven aviation service professionals nationwide, we offer a variety of aircraft cleaning and maintenance services at more than 20 airports across the United States. The company was founded in 1998 by licensed Airframe and Power plant mechanics with over 20 years of experience in aircraft maintenance. After listening to our partners, combined with industry changes and steady growth of the business, an investment to expand with the opening of a fully functional MRO facility came alive in 2003. The business unit is a heavy maintenance service facility called GearHart Aviation Maintenance Complex, based in Blytheville, Arkansas. Today, the broad capabilities and industry experience of GearHart sets itself apart from other aviation service providers.

Heavy A DIRECT FLIGHT TO MEETING ALL YOUR SERVICE REQUIREMENTS Gearhart Aviation Maintenance Complex is our FAA approved Part 145 repair facility. This facility located in Blytheville, Arkansas is an outstanding extension of our business and has already provided services for 10 different airlines in the 3 years since opening. We are well versed in the daily requirements and regimens of maintaining airline transport equipment, complying with FAA standards and documentation, and safely meeting airline-scheduling requirements. Included within the complex is our full time staffed inspectors that focus on quality control and providing excellence in safety measures. GearHart inspectors and employees are highly trained and bring extensive experience from all major US carriers.
LABOR EXPERIENCE: Our workforce is abundant and seasoned. We employ licensed A&P technicians with an average experience life of 12 years including areas of expertise such as avionics, structural, composite repair and fuel tank. Their training includes safety, FAA Human Factors, and airline specific general familiarization.
PARTS AVAILABILITY: We staff and maintain a secured 1,500 square foot stores facility 24 hours a day with additional secured cages for airline specific parts. We have national accounts with such providers like Aviall, M&M, ECAS and much more. Located 1 hour from the world’s largest cargo hub makes moving parts effortless.
TOOLING: We house the tooling necessary for performing all major checks related to the aircraft on our ops specs. We have established relationships with Airbus NA and we are an active member of My Boeing Fleet to support our Partner's needs.
BACK SHOP: Our back shop sits right next door to our main hangar and includes sheet metal and composite tooling.

storage space and more than adequate back shop capability. Ramp space, landing/take off, and hangars are readily available. Accessibility is not a factor like other major airports due to no congestion. There are no landing fees, parking fees or additional costs like other major airports which can prove costly to an airline. The Maintenance Complex is only 1 hour from Memphis International Airport, which accommodates the world’s largest cargo carrier. This convenient and central location makes it easy for parts shipping and handling in support of our Partners’ aircraft. But the overriding reason for selecting Blytheville simply came down to ensuring the cost savings was passed onto our Partners.

AIRCRAFT CLEANING A recent Boeing study concluded that one decal on an engine costs an airline $40,000 per year in additional fuel burn. To remain competitive in today’s airline industry Gearhart has relieved airlines from the burden of washing and cleaning airplanes. Our cleaning programs include exterior wet-wash or dry-wash, deep interior cleans including leather conditioning and carpet shampooing, RON cleans and turn cleans. We adopt and utilize the Vacu-Boom system for removal of wet wash chemicals to ensure a cleaner environment. We also utilize a dry wash program that allows washes to take place literally anywhere and even while maintenance is being performed on the aircraft. We can customize an appearance program to our Partner's specifications. Intranet based tracking program allows our Partners to view and track cleans which leads to consistency, streamlined management of an appearance program and cost effectiveness within their organization.
LINE MAINTENANCE Gearhart has provided cost effective aircraft maintenance for nearly 9 years safely and on-time. At Gearhart we provide our Partners with lower fixed costs and flexibility at the outstation by limiting their core maintenance functions to their hubs. We provide scheduled overnight maintenance, ‘Meet and Greet’ services as well as On-call or On-demand services. Our licensed A&P technicians are available around the clock. We provide an array of disciplines including daily service checks, avionics, structural, instrumentation, electrical and much more. Our technicians bring an extensive background from previous employers with a multitude of aircraft qualifications including but not limited to: B717, 727, 737, 757, 767, 777, 747, DC8, DC9, DC10, MD11, A300/310 and 319/320.
SUPPORT SERVICES We have a fleet of lavatory trucks to alleviate the burden of lavatory servicing. The cleanliness of the lavatory can affect a passenger’s buying decision the next time they travel. These services include full dump and blue juice replenishment, full soaks and back flushes. We provide other services such as security sweeps, inflight restocking, swap-outs and inventory management of magazines, emergency/safety cards, cargo handling, GSE maintenance and much more. 4
