Program
This urban development include offices, retail stores, residential housing, and a day care center. The development includes 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom, and 3 bedroom units. Some of the units are duplexes. The building heights next to the street are the tallest, and when they get in front of the water the building heights are decreasing to provide the best view possibilities to the residents.

Gentrification is happening all around the Spree River. Most of the residential zones have buildings that are apart from each other and they have so much undefined green-space. Buildings also line up with the streets and on the ground floor the units are mostly retails. For parking access, all buildings have their parking lot on the ground and from the ground floor residents can access their apartments. All buildings are connected with each other on the 4th Floor with glass bridges which gives access to connect on the roof garden on the shortest building.

RESEARCH AND DISPLAY CENTER
This project’s main focus is designing a research and display center for Wentworth Institute of Technology. During the design process of the project, I designed a grid system. The shape of the site is a triangular form and two edges of the site is where the most people come through the site, and for the intersection of two edges made it origin point. All vertical lines that comes from the origin intersects with the party walls in front of the buildings on the site, and horizontal ones comes from neighbor building edges. This design is including one office building, and one education center. For the office building main focus is creating individual spaces, with using the grid system. Based on the grid system, individual spaces extruded through different views. For these two buildings, for each design process I applied a grid system, and for some programs, I broke down the grid system for the different process. The origin point is where the entrance is located.

The Towada City Plaza, or Towada City Plaza Community Center, was designed by Kengo Kuma and Associates. Initially, Kengo Kuma got the project by entering a contest centered around creating a “cultural relaunch” (Corradi) of Towada. This was because emigration into the larger cities in Japan was causing the smaller areas to lose their cultural significance (Corradi). Consequently, “Kanchogaidori, the main road in Towada, [has] lost [its] landmark status” (Corradi). The main purpose was to bring back these almost forgotten areas to the forefront, bringing the historic area’s importance. across the depth of the building. This creates house like spaces. 26

BOSTON HARBOR
STORY TIME PAVILION
The concept for the design is; discovery through different access points and living the space with different movements. The Children’s Wharf Park, Boston has an important location, and area around the site is busy all the time. From my site analysis, I realized that our site had two bridges right next to it, and when you are on the bridge from distance you can see the site, but when you actually walk through you cannot see it until you come really close. This makes our site mysterious, because you have to walk through and to be able to discover green space between the many concrete buildings. My concept is discovering the gathering space and experiencing the different movements on the pavilion. On my iterations, I gave the same experience to people.

Conceptual Models FROM MY LAST PROJECT, THE STORY TIME PAVILION REPRESENTS THE DISCOVERY THROUGH THE GATHERING SPACE, AND I USED TECTONIC ROOF STRUCTURE. IN THIS TWO DIFFERENT PROJECT I USED THE SAME ELEMENT FOR DIFFUSING LIGHT, GUIDING DISCOVERIES THROUGH THE GATHERING SPACES. LIGHT FILTERS ON THE DIFFERENT LEVELS ON THE GALLERY AND LIBRARY, AND EACH PIECE STANTS WITH THE STEEL STRUCTURE. FOR THIS PROJECT, I DESIGNED A CHILDREN’S BOOK MUSEUM, AND WE STARTED TO DO THE PROJECT CHOOSING A CHILDREN BOOK. MAIN FOCUS WAS FINDING THE ARCHITECTURAL FORM OF THE BOOK. Site plan
