Enhancing Environment Awareness in Pune

On the occasion of World Environment Day, a programme on ‘Enhancing Environmental Awareness’ was held. Two films addressing Climate Change impacts were screened. This was followed by a panel discussion on the essence of the message from the films and on how Pune citizens can participate and achieve meaningful environmental protection and climate change action.

The experts who participated in the panel discussion were Mr. Sarang Yadwadkar, architect and river activist, Ms. Ketaki Ghate, Founder and Managing Partner at Okios, for Ecological Services, Dr. Neha Bhadbhade, an engineer and researcher at SOPPECOM, and Ms. Saili Palande-Datar, ecologist and organic farmer.
