A satirical take on the visual idea of a red apple, a red background and a model clad in all red holds onto a green apple. Here, although the colour of the subject changes, its essence remains the same.

Ball
Usually, a Ball is associated to a sport or an outdoor sporting activity. Instead, here the model sits pretty atop the ball, retaining its inherent quality, yet is a fun take on the conventional visual image.

Cat Stepping away from the visual idea of the cat as an animal, here we associate its most striking attributes to be represented on a human’s face, a humorous take on the word cat, achieved through makeup and facial expressions.

The shoot has been conceptualised to represent a table set for breakfast, with the model’s face as the yellow yolk part in a sunny side up, a quirky take on E for Egg.

fur Fur has not been associated to an animal, the conventional way of seeing it. Instead it has been elevated to the status of a high fashion luxury accessory, represented through a fashion shoot.

Ghost Pun intended, Stepping away from the conventional image associated to a ghost, the one in this frame is seen chilling with a book in her hand and a glass of wine to keep her company!
h for
Horn
The word horn has been elaborated through a stylised gold& black colour theme that adds equals amounts of glam and dark sensuality to the otherwise bulky and authoritative accessory.
i for
Ice cream
A fun interpretation of the word ice-cream, where instead of the scoop on a cone, cream is seen being smeared n the model’s face, as a sign of enjoyment. The shoot has been conceptualised using rainbow colours in the makeup as well as sprinkles to keep the element of enjoyment and happiness intact.

Joker
The conventional persona of a jest, ever-excited joker is broken through this frame; depicted by the model decked in her complete circus attire falling asleep on the prop instead.

kite
The characteristic of a kite flying high up in the sky is what has been the crux of this shoot’s creative conceptualisation; the flying colourful wings on either side of the model are symbolic of the break free and soar high attitude associated with kites.

Locks have been associated with the term “hair locks�, and hence the literal visual translation is seen in the frame above.
A stylised shot of the model’s reflection in the mirror is seen; although the backdrop suggests a denser surrounding, flowers in full bloom are seen in the mirror’s reflection, a lesson that holds true in life too.

Instead of net being viewed merely just as a meshed item, the object derives new meaning when laced as a cover up across the face of the model, adding an element of surprise and suspicion to the shoot.

Opera In contrast to the often animated and highly vocal posture of an opera singer, the frame instead portrays a beautiful opera artist, at peace and in contemplation.

A stylised shoot, the concept is to show that the bottom half of the model’s body has been painted instead of the surroundings.

Queen Queen here has been interpreted as a fun, girly, flirty representation of the Queen of Hearts in a Card game; a humorous yet a satirical take on the word Queen, opposed to its original representation of someone who is usually an embodiment of elegance, grace and poise.

Rings The idea was to show Exercise Rings instead of the conventional ring, worn as an accessory. The whole look of the model has been designed keeping this in mind, giving the feel of a sporty shoot.

Snow
The dreamy, almost ethereal quality of snow is seen reflected on the model, owing to her makeup that resembles icicles and the pine leaves that form her mane complete the entire look.

Here, the idea was to turn something as ordinary an object as a towel into a sensual accessory, conceptualised by a wet look-just showered model whose peek-a-boo poses leave a lot to the viewer’s imagination

Umbrella A humorous take on the word Umbrella, The focus here is more on the model who is trying to brave the wind and rain under the radar of her tiny blue umbrella.

Vacuum Cleaner
T A fun, comical take on the mundane activity that is vacuum cleaning, the frame shows the camaraderie between a woman dressing up and her cat, who won’t leave her side through the process!
W for
Watermelon The model gets a summery makeover as the fruit’s attributes are seen translated onto the model, in terms of outfit, hair and make-up.

The interior of a human body is seen, striking a contrast to the cold exterior that the model presents

Through the progress of the semester, we learned and honed our skills to achieve the expanse of the work presented in this catalog. The catalog is our take on the average ABC chart, but with a satirical twist. Some humourous, some jarring; some simply fun and happy; each frame has a chracter of its own and conveys a different emotion; although through the same letter and word that you have associated to for years now
