Design brief

India is home to many college including multiple prestigious campuses. But the values followed in both teaching and working practices are outdated. These institutions are widely recognised nationally but fails in the international realm.

The need to bring in value to the identity of india and its architecture is crucial now more than ever.

The present branding and esteem value of spa is profound enough to exhilarate to the international standards, yet not yet succeed due to the hesitance to move out of the comfort bubble.

The campus shall imprint an impression on the visitors and crowd coming in from around the world through the design in order to climb to the global domain.

The approach in integration of concepts from temple planning to the campus ma sterplan is aligned with the choice o f temple designs in india representing the architectural character of the country.

The proposition is achieved through use of levels, visual axis, play of light and shadow, creation of solids and voids and transition of spaces.

Entry to campus

Vision Brief

The functioning Of Architectural Colleges in India has never undergone a radical change since the first architectural college was established in 1913. Even though the camous was the pioneer Architecture College to be established in Asia, neither the college nor the nation is ranked in leading at an international level. standards.

The SPA brand has the right name and given the opportunity to shift out of the comfort bubble, can be deemed as a first class premier institute at international. As we still live off the architectural grandeurs of our ancestors, The campus shall also strive to transpire as an icon representing India’s architecture and identity of the 21st century India.
