The communications skills training modules have been specifically designed to address the language and cultural needs of professional engineers new to Canada and to the Canadian workplace. The modules have been created by Memorial University’s English as a Second Language Department in consultation with an Advisory Committee from the Faculty of Engineering, PEGNL and industry representatives, and with funding from Citizenship and Immigration Canada.

This is not a one-day course
Each module is 8 weeks in duration and requires a time commitment of approximately 5 hours per week.
