Wow! 25 Years Strong! “I can’t believe 25 years have gone by,” says Donna. “This took a lot of dedication…tremendous dedication.” She adds, “I’ve seen a lot of cleaning services come and go, but we are here for the long term. Now we are bigger and better than ever. Twenty-five years later, we have 25 employees and are the number one cleaning service in Tampa Bay. I am so excited I still have a lot of the same customers for over 20 years!” One long time client called to congratulate Donna and said, “You and your business are not getting older, you’re only getting better.” All these years later, Donna is still emotional as she tells the story of how she came to rename her business. Pinellas Trail Grows Older, Smarter Spanning 47 miles from St. Petersburg to Tarpon Springs, the Fred Marquis Pinellas Trail is used by an average of 70,000 people each month for bicycling, walking, skating and jogging. It’s been 25 years since the first section of the Fred Marquis Pinellas Trail opened to the public in 1990, and it is celebrating by becoming a unique, first-of-its-kind smart trail. Officials, volunteers and users of the popular Pinellas Trail gathered at Largo’s Taylor Park in early December to celebrate the silver anniversary. Fred Marquis, former Pinellas County Administrator, the namesake of the Trail, said, “It is with great pride and humility I stand before you today and I can say this is the most important project ever built by Pinellas County.” The revamping of trail signs to include new mobile engagement technology is part of a new trail sponsorship program designed to maintain and enhance the trail for years to come. The socially responsible partnership program allows companies and organizations to sponsor one or multi-

ple new signs. The sponsorship program and smart signs are a component of the partnership between Pinellas County, Bikepath Country Florida LLC, Liquid Outdoor Media and Blue Bite. There are a total of 27 sign locations along the Pinellas Trail, with 54 sign faces, meaning up to 54 sponsorship signs can currently be placed. Zephyrhills® Brand 100% Natural Spring Water is the first national company to commit to the sponsorship program for Pinellas County. Sponsorship funds go toward the maintenance of the signs, the smart technology components and the upkeep and beautification of the Pinellas Trail. The smart trail is comprised of mTAGs deployed on the signage frames. The mTAGs feature Near Field Communication (NFC) and Quick Response (QR) reader technology created by Blue Bite to add a new digital element to the Pinellas Trail. Trail users can tap or scan the mTAGs with their mobile device to obtain relevant information such as

The mTAGs can also be used for fitness challenges, with users tapping or scanning in at the start of their exercise routine and doing so at each sign along the way. At the end of the workout, the user will be able to see how far they have traveled and how they’ve done compared to others. “As the Pinellas Trail continues to expand, new smart technologies will make for a more informed and welcoming experience for residents and visitors alike,” said Paul Cozzie, director of Pinellas County Parks and Conservation Resources. “Becoming smarter is just another way the Pinellas Trail continues to set the standard for linear parks in America.”

Alissa Klinger and her family relocated from Cheboygan, Michigan to New Port Richey this summer. With extensive experience in events and restaurant management and a real love for Wedding Planning, Alissa found a position as Events Director at Ace Golf, two family-owned golf clubs including Wentworth and Crescent Oaks Golf Clubs. Alissa’s passion for weddings has led to a surge in wedding events at the two popular East Lake area Golf Clubs. “I chose Wentworth and Crescent Oaks because of their two very different, beautiful reception venues. Also, as local, familyowned businesses, I have a lot more latitude to be creative and provide exceptional service,” says Klinger. Membership is not required to hold a wedding or event at either club, and the cost compares favorably with hotel and other venues. Wentworth offers a stately, upscale English Manor Clubhouse and Ve-

randa. Crescent Oaks is a larger, Mediterranean-style banquet facility with sweeping views of the golf and a new outdoor event pavilion. Alissa helps brides plan their weddings with her calm demeanor, creativity, and attention to detail. “I was raised in a household with a stay-at-home mom who had an attention to detail like no other. Every dinner party was an exercise in planning and every holiday became an event where my mother’s creativity and desire to please others made for a spectacular gathering.” Alissa took her first Country Club Management position right out of college at an exclusive Golf Club in Northern Michigan. It was here that she started her journey in creating one-of-a-kind functions, creating lifelong memories. She later joined a resort restaurant and grew their non-existent catering business to a very busy wedding destination.

term rehabilitation center that serves as a stepping stone between the hospital and independence.” He adds, “Most of our patients only stay here for two to three weeks while receiving care, and are back outside doing what they did before-playing golf and traveling.” He was proud to state that 90% of the patients that come to Westchester Gardens return to their homes quickly. Focused on wellness, fitness and activities that promote independence for seniors, the therapies provided at Westchester Gardens are really fantastic. Their physical therapy room is a busy place, with patients participating in their exercises, gaining strength, walking, pedaling bikes and working

closely with skilled physical therapists. The occupational therapy room is focused on helping people practice the day-to-day activities that they’ll use at home, from cooking breakfast in the kitchen to washing, drying and folding their own laundry. All of these things work together to help people return to their lives after an injury or an illness with confidence. Westchester Gardens also is a beautiful place where residents have access to a packed calendar of activities, a quaint and classy bistro where they can enjoy four-course meals, and of course, beautiful garden areas where they can get out and enjoy the Florida weather. Families are welcome, and there are lots of places to spend time together in a warm, home-like environment. Each room is clean, comforting and designed to make

each patient as comfortable as possible while they recover. Cheri’s mother had a good experience at Westchester Gardens. She shared, “My mother was hospitalized and the hospital recommended West Chester [Westchester] Gardens. The staff there is doing a great job. I feel that my mom is really being attended well and cared for. The facility is nice and clean.” One of the few facilities in Pinellas County to be honored by US News & World Report, Westchester Gardens Rehabilitation & Care Center is actually a part of The Goodman Group, which is one of the most prominent names in senior living. Their CEO, John B. Goodman, takes a “whole selves” approach to caring. In doing so, their facilities care for the body, the mind and the spirit, and be-

Fitts explains, “As part of the Platinum Service® program, we hold daily meetings across all three of our shifts to provide customer service training to our employees.” These daily meetings provide a cohesive program that helps the team to work together, and to provide a high standard that is felt when you walk in the door. The entire facility is

staffed with people who are polite, welcoming and committed to their patients’ health. George, the family member of a patient who recuperated at Westchester Gardens, said, “I was very impressed with Westchester Gardens. It was very clean and very well run. The staff was very polite. Everything was better than expected. We had used the facility before, so we were familiar with it. They got a little lunch bistro where you can have choices, and that made my dad really happy. He had physical therapy, and they had different types of entertainment, wine and cheese parties, music, and things related to sports.” If you’re looking for a rehabilitation facility that provides the utmost in quality care, compassion and prestige, choose Westchester Gardens Rehabilitation & Care Center, where they will help you get back on your feet again and doing what you love. The Key is Education If you are retired or are nearing retirement, then you need to know how to protect your money and understand how tax laws will affect your retirement. Often, there are legitimate adjustments that can be made now to reduce tax liabilities. “If clients are already collecting social security when they come to us, they want to know how they can reduce or eliminate taxes on not only social security income, but their overall taxes as well,” says Ed Rizzotto. “A major concern today and what I believe will be a concern for years to come for pre-retirees and current retirees is how to obtain “Guaranteed Income for Life” from your retirement and non-retirement plans. Unfortunately many employer sponsored plans and individual IRAs do not offer this benefit when you retire. We will show you how to put some things in place now that will enable you to set up lifetime income down the road. This is income you will never outlive…similar to a pension. We spend many hours with our clients to put sound plans in place by sharing ‘real time’ tax, income and social security analysis through some of the most so-

phisticated software. We want our clients to leave our office with a better understanding on what their income needs will be in retirement, and how to control, reduce or possibly eliminate taxes.” As part of an overall financial plan, people should also have an estate plan to provide an easy transition of their assets when they pass on. Rizzotto Tax Advisory Group takes a team-oriented approach to tax, retirement and estate planning. Their staff will work with their client’s attorney to achieve their client’s goals. For example, the beneficiary designations on a client’s IRA could impact their estate plan so Mr. Rizzotto welcomes discussions from their estate planning attorney. If you do not already have an attorney, Mr. Rizzotto can refer you to an estate planning attorney. Martha V. Evans from Hitchcock Law Group frequently meets with clients in the Trinity office to review Wills and Trusts. Attorney Evans can help you make sure you plan is up to date and Ed Rizzotto’s staff will make sure your accounts and beneficiary designations coordinate with your estate plan. “Rizzotto Tax” Continued from page 13 Concierge Level Service While taxes are a large part of The Rizzotto Tax Advisory Group, the majority of their clients also utilize the firm’s other services including investments, retirement planning, long term care, annuities, life insurance, wills and trusts. Ed says, “Clients like the opportunity we provide to get everything taken care of in one place.” “When people come in to see us,” says Ed, “the first thing we do is dedicate one to two hours to complete an overall review that covers the last couple of years, including going over their tax returns in detail, studying their portfolios, and discussing their important concerns to determine how we can help them. Then, at a followup appointment, we present a thorough plan for them. “Saving on taxes, reducing or eliminating taxation on social security and protecting the financial wellbeing of a spouse after another’s death – those are things that my clients are concerned about. Today, people also

want alternatives to the low interest rate environment provided by CDs and money market accounts.” Rizzotto explains that being involved with his clients in all the key areas of tax returns, insurance needs and investments allows his team to keep a keen eye on each client’s bottom line. “We’ve had people who had other advisors and financial planners who convinced them to make changes, not aware of the tax impacts. To me, the tax return is the most important document the client owns, that’s why it is the first thing we look at when the client meets us for their initial appointment. If there is an investment or change that could cause a taxable event, we know that up front.” Rizzotto Tax Advisory Group’s area of expertise over the years has been working with retirees, but they also work with clients of all ages in the area of retirement planning. “You’re never too young or too old to start saving for retirement,” says Rizzotto. “We have found that many people we meet who are still working have changed jobs about every five to seven years, and many of those people left

their retirement plans at their old employers (i.e. 401k, 403b, 457, and TSP plans, etc.). Many of these plans can be rolled over to individual IRAs or Roth IRAs, thus giving the client more control and the ability to have someone to advise them. We feel it is imperative for those people ages 59–1/2 or older who are still employed to become educated on a very significant act signed into law by congress over ten years ago that changed the rules governing these employer sponsored plans, what their options are, and what they can do to prepare for their family’s financial future.”

Rizzotto Tax Advisory Group has 2 locations: 3030 Starkey Blvd. at the Florida Design Consultants Center in the Long Leaf community of Trinity; and 1034 Belcher Road S. in Largo. Call (727) 6839119 or visit www.rizzottotax.com for additional information or to schedule an appointment.

Local Author Publishes The Vulnerable, an Intriguing Non-Fiction Novel About Saving Her Brother From True Evil By Matt Selby Last week I had the pleasure of meeting with local author Betsy MacDonald to talk about her new book, The Vulnerable. A true story, The Vulnerable is an intriguing book about Betsy’s autistic brother Michael, who suffers from Asperger’s and her journey to reconnect with her family and help Michael escape a tortuous relationship with a couple that was supposedly caring for him; when all the while, they were taking advantage of him, abusing him, and even poisoning him. They were slowly attempting to murder him and make it look like an accident just to gain his inheritance. The Vulnerable has all the makings of a Hollywood thriller, but like I said, this is unfortunately a non-fiction tale. Speaking of Hollywood, Betsy says she is meeting with some movie producers that sought her out

18

after reading The Vulnerable, so a screenplay may very well be next. During our interview Betsy described to me some of the horrible things that these people did to her brother; it made my stomach flip flop. I can’t imagine how anyone could live with himself or herself after committing such heinous acts; manipulating an autistic person for their own personal gain. It’s absolutely disgusting, and when I asked Betsy what her ultimate goal was in telling her story she replied, “I just want to make people aware of what can happen to the ones we love, especially those who may become vulnerable without the right people in their lives. I want to help people see that they need to make a plan, especially if they have a child or a loved one with autism. I want people to really think about what could happen to that person if they weren’t

around, that way they can prepare and hopefully prevent something terrible from happening, because once it’s too late there might not be anyone around to protect them.” I don’t want to give too much of the book away, but I am happy to report that Betsy has saved Michael and he currently lives with Betsy and her husband locally. I personally have a close friend, whom I’ve known since high school, who has Asperger’s so this story really hits home for me. Betsy says, “Knowledge is power. It is my wish that by hearing our story, maybe one person’s life can be saved!” Betsy MacDonald’s book The Vulnerable is for sale at Amazon.com. Betsy is a psychiatric R.N. holding positions as a Mental Health Director, where she lectures the public and health agencies. She also served as

JANUARY 2016

Director of Nursing at a hospital and has counseled and evaluated youth in school settings. Betsy MacDonald is a nationally published author with nonfiction cover stories. This true mystery has clairvoyance, hauntings, and gutwrenching emotion, as it takes the reader on a journey to crack a family’s code of silence. For more information, visit www.TheVulnerable.net.

Trinity Family Physicians Surprise 15-Year-Old Caitlin Shannon With the Tampa Bay Making A Difference Award By Kim Thomas Caitlin Shannon is remarkable! She makes a difference to so many children in the Tampa Bay Area who are hospitalized by giving them something to smile about! Caitlin created Sparkle Power, a charity organization that gives goody bags filled with fun items to bring “the power of a little sparkle” to children who really need something to lift their spirits. It is no surprise that the 15-year-old was chosen by Trinity Family Physicians’ own Dr. Stephanie Eldridge and Dr. Amir Shirmohammad as the second recipient of the Tampa Bay Making A Difference Award. Committed to their patients and active in the Tampa Bay Area where they both grew up, the husbandand-wife team of physicians started the Tampa Bay Making A Difference Award to bring recognition to individuals who make a difference in the lives of others locally. Dr. “Shirmo” explains, “There are so many terrible things going on around the world. Dr. Eldridge and I

22

just felt that we have to do something to make people feel happy and good.” With this Award, the doctors are able to honor individuals who work to put smiles on the faces of many, and they hope you will feel inspired at hearing Caitlin’s story. Caitlin suffered irreversible nerve damage during gall bladder surgery when she was just 13 years old. In and out of hospitals for two years while doctors searched for what was causing her excruciating pain, Caitlin bonded with many children and their families and resolved to make a difference for them. Wise beyond her years, she shares, “When someone is first diagnosed with a chronic illness or chronic pain, other people are so good about coming to the hospital and being involved in the first weeks but then it always dies down. I just wanted to do something to bring them happiness.” Caitlin and her family started collecting markers and crayons, stickers and notepads, and other items to make up Sparkle Power bags to give to chil-

Sparkle Power is proof that one young girl with the right team behind her can do a lot! Now Sparkle Power is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that can continue to bring happiness to little ones in the hospital. Caitlin’s

mom Brooke is a powerhouse herself and she gave her daughter some brilliant advice worth sharing. Brooke said, “I always talk to her about building your team. We all have people who want to help and support

Trinity Family Physicians gave Caitlin a basket of goodies for a little Sparkle Power of her own us – they are on our team – and it’s important to build your team. Like our guy at Sips Specialty Coffee House – he sees us coming and has our order ready every time, and before I can say, ‘We’re in a hurry,’ he is handing out the coffee and muffins. He is on our team.” I think I can speak for Dr. Shirmo and Dr. Eldridge when I say that after meeting Caitlin, we all want to be on her team!

Caitlin is active in her high school’s drama program and according to her mother Brooke; she is an amazing and attentive big sister to her three younger siblings. Her charity, Sparkle Power, is sure to continue to grow and bring smiles to children throughout Tampa Bay who are in our local hospitals. Currently, Caitlin is running Sparkle Power out of her bedroom, which her mom says is stacked with trays and bins of supplies for the Sparkle Power bags. One local school has gotten onboard, teaming with Sparkle Power and gathering supplies through the holidays to fill the bags that will put some sparkle in a child’s day. It is our hope that Sparkle Power will continue to gain the support of local businesses and schools throughout Tampa Bay, bringing a dose of happiness to even more hospitalized children. (East Lake Neighborhood News & Lifestyles ran a story about Sparkle Power in the December 2015 issue, which you can find at nnlflorida.com.) If you’d like to donate funds or supplies, email caitlin.sparklepower@yahoo.com, and follow Sparkle Power on Instagram: @sparklepowerofficial for updates.

“Cleaning Angels” Continued from page 1 angel” 18 years ago by an elderly lady, who was under care at Gulfside Regional Hospice. Shortly before the lady passed away, Donna left a crystal angel for her. She told her nurse that Donna should be called the cleaning angel. As her business grew from just herself to what is now a fleet of “cleaning angels,” the name of Donna’s company has changed to reflect the growth. She says, “It started off as Donna’s Cleaning Service, then The Cleaning Angel, and now to Donna’s Cleaning Angels. Wow, we have come such a long way!” Donna Ferrante is a woman so dedicated to her clients, her employees, and her company that she never stops trying to improve. Even though the stellar residential cleaning services provided by Donna’s Cleaning Angels is what has built the company, Donna continues to bring more to the table for her customers, such as expanded services including carpet, tile and grout cleaning. “In 25 years, there has been a lot of growth. We are extremely well known, and receive a tremendous amount of referrals. In order to give

26

the customer an accurate time and pricing on their home we offer a free estimate.” When Donna meets a potential new client for the estimate, she explains the detailed cleaning that her service provides. “Every house is different,” says Donna. Maria adds, “Customers love how much time Donna takes to meet, greet and explain everything we have to offer them in person. We are branching out more into commercial cleaning. Such as, doctors’ and real estate offices, insurances agencies and other small businesses.” Always a hard worker, a strong work ethic runs in her blood from her Italian and French Canadian background, as her family in Gorham, New Hampshire has owned an Italian restaurant in the mountains for almost 70 years now. Carrying on a family legacy of work and success has always been important to Donna and when she first started her business, her son, then 11, and her 8-year-old daughter followed her example and helped their mom by putting fliers on cars at Sunday services. In addition to her family’s influence, Donna attributes the success of her company to a determined attitude, tremendous amount of ambition, and meticulous attention to detail, all of

Donna’s Cleaning Angels provides reliable, detailed cleaning for homes and offices - call today to schedule a free estimate which is accompanied with an unstoppable drive. An example of this drive was when, after years of working on her own, Donna broke her ankle and hand in an accident and knew she couldn’t continue cleaning on her own. She prayed for the future of her business and that is when she decided to hire her first employee. Reflecting on her company’s growth, 25 years of hard work and success and the addition of a fleet of Donna’s Cleaning Angels vehicles,

Donna shares, “The dedication and success in my cleaning business is due to the closeness of my wonderful family. I am proud and honored to say that I am following in the footsteps of my parents and grandparents. We know how to cook, clean and we give 100 percent to the business. My only regret is that my mother, father and grandmother aren’t here alive to see all of this, but I know in my heart that they are seeing it even though they can’t be here with me.”

Licensed – Bonded – Insured – Workman’s Comp on All Employees What sets Donna’s Cleaning Angels apart is the fact that Donna has created a company that is fully licensed, bonded and insured, and each client can expect to have a team of Donna’s Cleaning Angels at their door each time that they have service. Donna says, “Next to your doctor, there’s nothing more personal than your cleaning service, which is why we

take so many steps to protect you and make you feel at ease with our service. My clients don’t have to worry because I’ve done the homework and I carry the liability.” Donna adds that building honest dependable relationships is just as important as providing quality cleaning. “I really appreciate my hardworking girls. And they appreciate their job here at Donna’s Cleaning Angels and take care of our customers with much pride. That makes this a win-win situation. Using the basic principles of mutual respect combined with good old-fashioned elbow grease, the angels produce a heavenly sparkle. Our customers love our back-to-basics, old-fashioned cleaning techniques, often reminding them of how their grandmothers used to clean. “The girls are happy when they work together, they have good energy together, plus four eyes are better than two. This way here, the teammates are able to check each other and make sure that nothing is missed.” The teams are always presentable and friendly, wear uniforms with nonslip shoes, and come in with a large canvas kit containing all of their high quality cleaning supplies. What’s more, every employee that Donna hires is

East Lake Area Neighborhood News & Lifestyles

background checked, drug free and covered by workman’s compensation. This is part of the reason why Donna’s Cleaning Angels is the first choice of so many people in our area. “It’s important to me to hire people who have a clean background, and who are polite, trustworthy and dependable,” says Donna. “As a result, I can be very picky about who I hire.” She adds, “Some employees have come here that previously worked for other cleaning services, and they are amazed at the way our training procedures are. They stated that their previous employers made them watch a video and then sent them off the very next day to clean, unsupervised. Our Angels have on-the-job training for over a month, with a field manager, before they are considered a ‘true cleaning angel.’ It takes time and effort to make sure an employee is 100 percent up to our cleaning standards. Detailed cleaning is what we are known for. Not just a run-through, wipe-down.” To ensure that every client is happy after each cleaning, Donna offers comment cards, regularly checks in with her clients, and has regular meetings with her staff. Reflecting, Donna says, “At the

end of the day I thank God for my blessings – the great people who work for me, a great business, my health, my home, my loved ones and my family. God bless you all.” Donna’s Cleaning Angels provides cleaning services to Pasco, Pinellas and Hillsborough Counties. Schedule a free consultation with Donna’s Cleaning Angels at 727-942-8289, and be sure to ask about the Refer-A-Friend program that can earn you a free cleaning. Gift certificates are available. Testimonials can be found on Donna’s Cleaning Angels Facebook page.

“Massages” Continued from page 1 Karla’s massages can be done anywhere – at home, poolside, or at the office. Most of her clients choose the room in their house that offers the least distractions, and there she creates a wonderful environment for massage. She also takes the time to really speak to her clients before their massage to learn more about them and any physical discomfort or problems they have, so that she can create a therapeutic massage that will be most beneficial to each individual. Lindsey from New Port Richey says, “If you are looking for the best massage, then look no further than Karla, she is a rare find. Once you have a massage from Karla, you will look no further, that I will guarantee!” Massage Services that Improve Your Life “Your Health is your Wealth” is the philosophy at Barkdoll Massage Therapy, and that is why Karla takes the time to really find out what kind of massage you prefer, whether it’s a Swedish massage or a deep tissue treatment for chronic pain, Karla’s

28

massage will make a difference in your life. Karla offers a wide range of affordable massage therapy styles and packages. If you are looking for a traditional massage, Swedish massage treatments are designed to improve circulation, reduce stress and to relieve muscle tension. Hot stone massages also are popular. Warm stone therapy, which is the art of using heated stones in combination with a Swedish massage, is a great method used to dissolve muscle tension and induce deep relaxation. Deep tissue massage is a therapeutic treatment designed to ease the pain and discomfort associated with chronic pain. Karla says, “During deep tissue massages I use trigger points to specifically find the places where the work needs to be done.” Deep tissue massages can help people who live with painful conditions live a fuller life. Another style of massage that Karla offers is sports massage and injury rehabilitation. This style of massage combines the benefits and style of a deep tissue massage with stretching, which can improve the range of motion in joints. Whether you are healing after a car accident or are suffering

from chronic pain associated with a medical condition, this kind of massage can be extremely beneficial. One of Karla’s clients from Trinity said, “I have had the pleasure of having Karla as a massage therapist for the past six years and it has always been an enriching and healing experience. She is knowledgeable, professional and a kindhearted person and I have no hesitation in recommending her service. She has hands of gold!” Prenatal massages are a fantastic way to pamper the mom-to-be while easing some of the side effects of pregnancy. Karla uses specially designed massage table pillows that create a comfortable position just for her during this time, so that pregnant moms can safely enjoy their massage. Aromatherapy is proven to aid in relaxation, and Barkdoll Massage Therapy offers a variety of essential oils and scents that can be used in collaboration with any other style of massage.

JANUARY 2016

Most often used with a Swedish massage, aromatherapy oils are applied by Karla during your massage to enhance the massage experience. One local couple wrote, “We all have very busy schedules and it saves us time and stress to have Karla come right to our home. My husband has chronic pain and her weekly massages help him tremendously. Whether you just want a great stress reliever or you have a medical condition I would highly recommend Karla!” If you are looking for a fantastic way to improve morale at work, how about offering your employees a corporate seated massage? This is a fully clothed, seated massage that can be done right at the office. This style of

East Lake Area Neighborhood News & Lifestyles

massage focuses on the back, neck, shoulders, scalp, arms and hands. What a great way to let your employees know how much you care about them! My Massage with Karla Scheduling my massage turned out to be a breeze because Barkdoll Massage Therapy is one of the only places that offers evening massage appointments. It was all very easy for me since I wasn’t going to have to worry about driving anywhere or a babysitter for the kids! I simply picked out a quiet room in the house, sent the kids outside to play with my hubby, and got ready to enjoy my massage. Karla is a true professional and arrives right on time bringing everything she needs with her. She takes the time to ask about any injuries you may have suffered in the past, and any current complaints that she needs to be aware of. Karla and I decided that a combination Swedish and deep tissue massage would be most beneficial for me. Karla put on what I like to call “massage music,” and spoke to me about what she was going to do before she began. To my surprise, I was even

more relaxed because I was at home. I enjoyed the entire hour instead of wondering how many minutes had passed, or wondering about the kids. I felt safe, pampered and well cared for. After my massage, I felt like a softened stick of butter, and I was able to just put on my slippers instead of my shoes! Massage can make one feel more centered, and can even change one’s outlook. Following my massage with Karla, I felt great for days and my entire family could see what a difference it made for me both physically and emotionally. The best thing about Barkdoll Massage Therapy is how affordable it is, making it possible to benefit from theapeutic massage on a regular basis. Barkdoll Massage Therapy is an entirely mobile massage therapy business that comes to you. Karla Barkdoll (License # MA47546) is available 7 days a week, from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. To schedule an appointment or to request more information about massage packages, corporate events or gift certificates, call (727) 372- 6389 or email Karla Barkdoll at barkdollmassagetherapy@yahoo.com
