Alton Scott holds a stateregulated Life and Health license and a Securities license to provide certain investment products. Katherine McGuire, Enrolled Agent 25 years, recently joined the team. Prior to moving to the area, she had a tax office in Bensalem, PA for 30 years, which is now run by her son Michael. The Key is Education If you are a retiree or nearing retirement, you need to know how to protect your money and understand how tax laws will affect your retirement. Often, there are legitimate adjustments that can be made now to reduce tax liabilities. “If clients are already collecting social security when they come to us, they want to know how they can reduce or eliminate taxes on not only social security income, but their overall taxes as well,” says Ed Rizzotto. “A major concern today and what I believe will be a

money market accounts.” Rizzotto explains that being involved with his clients in all the key areas of tax returns, insurance needs and investments allows his team to keep a keen eye on each client’s bottom line. He says, “We’ve had people who had other advisors and financial planners who convinced them to make changes, not aware of the tax impacts. To me, the tax return is the most important document the client owns, that’s why it is the first thing we look at when the client meets us for their initial appointment. If there is an investment or change that could cause a taxable event, we know that up front.” Ed Rizzotto, Lorrie Rizzotto, Nayda Stern, Katherine Mcguire, Dori Greeson and Kate Laymon concern for years to come for pre-retirees and current retirees is how to obtain “Guaranteed Income for Life” from your retirement and non-retirement plans. Unfortunately many employer sponsored plans do not offer this benefit when you retire. We will show you how to put some things in place now that will enable you to set up lifetime income down the road. This is income you will never outlive…similar to a pension. We spend many hours with our clients to put sound plans in place by sharing ‘real time’ tax, income and social security analysis through some of the most sophisticated software. We want our clients to leave our office with a better understanding on what their income needs will be in retirement, and how to control, reduce or possibly eliminate taxes.” Concierge Level Service While taxes are a large part of The Rizzotto Tax Advisory Group, the majority of their clients also utilize the firm’s other services including investments, retirement planning, long term care, annuities, life insurance, wills and

trusts. Ed says, “Clients like the opportunity we provide to get everything taken care of in one place.” “When people come in to see us,” says Ed, “the first thing we do is dedicate an hour of our time to complete an overall review that covers the last couple of years, including going over their tax returns in detail, studying their portfolios, and discussing their important concerns to determine how we can help them. Then, at a follow-up appointment, we present a thorough plan for them.” The Rizzotto Tax Advisory Group offers guidance to each investor based on their unique investment profile while focusing on their financial goals. “Many people are concerned with the economy right now and preservation of funds is very important,” says Ed. “Saving on taxes, reducing or eliminating taxation on social security and protecting the financial wellbeing of a spouse after another’s death – those are things that my clients are concerned about. Today, people also want alternatives to the low interest rate environment provided by CDs and

Retirement Planning…Not Just For Retirees While The Rizzotto Tax Advisory Group’s area of expertise over the years has been working with retirees, they also work with clients of all ages in the area of retirement planning. “You’re never too young or too old to start saving for retirement,” says Rizzotto. “We have found that many people we meet who are still working have changed jobs about every five to seven years, and many of those people left their retirement plans at their old employers (i.e. 401k, 403b, and 457 plans, etc).

Many of these plans can be rolled over to individual IRAs or Roth IRAs, thus giving the client more control and the ability to have someone to advise them. We feel it is imperative for those people ages 59 -1/2 or older who are still employed to become educated on a very significant act signed into law by congress over eight years ago that changed the rules governing IRAs, 401(k)s, 403(b)s and 457 plans, what their options are and what they can do to prepare for their family’s financial future.” The Rizzotto Tax Advisory Group is located in the community of Long Leaf in the Florida Design Consultants Center at 3030 Starkey Boulevard in Trinity. Largest Ice & Sports Complex in the Southeastern US Breaks Ground in Wesley Chapel and Announces Florida Hospital As Major Partner Florida’s largest ice rink facility and sports complex officially broke ground off Interstate 75 at the State Road 56 interchange in Wesley Chapel on February 24. The 150,000-square-foot sports facility will include four full-sized rinks, including one Olympic-sized hockey rink. In addition to the four ice pads, including a removable pad that can double as a multi-purpose floor for basketball and even graduations, the $20-million dollar facility will also be home to a sports-themed family restaurant. Developer Gordie Zimmermann of ZMitch, LLC who unveiled the plan last year for Pasco’s Tourist Development

Council, says the facility will open its doors to the community this year. He also says, once completed this fall, it will be the largest ice sports facility in the southeastern USA. “The development of hockey and ice sports has leaped to the next level in Florida. In addition to the success of the Tampa Bay Lightning, our partners at Z Mitch saw an opportunity to help fill a void. Limited ice availability throughout the region has stalled future growth and now we have an opportunity to provide a world class program where our youth can develop to the highest levels without leaving the state to fulfill their dreams,” said Zimmermann,

Managing Partner Z Mitch LLC. Zimmermann, who used to be the General Manager of the Brandon ice facility, is excited to announce Florida Hospital is a partner in the ice and sports complex. Florida Hospital will be a major sponsor of the facility and will provide educational programs on sports performance and injury prevention. In addition, Florida Hospital will provide athletic training, sports performance programs in the facility and much more. “Florida Hospital is committed to supporting our community in Wesley Chapel and throughout Tampa Bay. The ice and sports complex is a natural fit for us because of our dedication to wellness and our sports medicine and athletic performance programs,” said Denyse BalesChubb, President and CEO of

Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel. Florida Hospital is also the presenting sponsor of the 2014-2015 and 2015-16 Tampa Bay Lightning seasons, as well as the team’s official health and wellness partner and the official health care provider of the Tampa Bay Storm. The two organizations will work together on creating new programs to be hosted at the new facility, which will have a huge impact on the growth of youth and adult hockey. “As an organization, the Tampa Bay Lightning is committed to growing awareness of, and participation in, our great sport at every level,” said Jay Feaster, Executive Director of Community Hockey Development. “Having another facility with multiple sheets of ice in our market will enable more people to play

hockey, and will allow us to increase on-ice programming through our Lightning Made brand. We look forward to working with the ice com-

plex in growing the game of hockey across the Tampa Bay region. The two-story complex will not only feature hockey and figure skat-

ing, but will also host curling and other winter sports. One of the rinks would be located in the 20,000square-foot multi-purpose space that could be converted for indoor sports, such as tennis, basketball, volleyball and arena football. It could also host large corporate meetings and even high school graduations. The facility expects to host more than 1.5 million people per year, with an estimated 40% of those coming from outside the Tampa Bay area. Developers expect the ice complex to bring more than 50 jobs to the area. The facility is also expected to drive business, especially for nearby hotels, hosting regional and national tournaments. For more information about the ice and sports complex and upcoming events, please visit: www.WesleyChapelIceCenter.com. For more information on Z Mitch, LLC please visit www.zmitch.com.

Trinity New Life Church Supports Tim Tebow Foundation’s “Night to Shine” Prom

It was their night to shine and that they did. On February 13th 2015 Trinity New Life Church in Odessa was a part of the Tim Tebow Foundation’s “Night to Shine” prom event in celebration of the foundation’s fifth year anniversary. The “Night to Shine” prom was celebrated by more than 7,000 guests with special needs, at locations throughout 26 states and three countries. Guests were treated to a magical night of dinner, dancing, and friendships. Locally, Trinity New Life Church in Odessa hosted the event and with help from more than 100 volunteers, the 85 guests arrived to cheering paparazzi as they walked the red carpet.

20

Once inside, each guest was greeted by their own personal buddy, and was given flowers, a crown or tiara, a limo ride, professional photos and a photo booth. Even before the event many guests took advantage of the free professional hair and makeup services offered. Then, they danced the night away! Laughter and smiles became contagious immediately. In addition to the many volunteers, many businesses throughout the Trinity area also donated their services. Christo’s Family Restaurant, DG Photography, Make-up by Kristy Lynn, The Hair Lounge, Olympus Limo, and Sugardarlings all eagerly jumped on board to make this event a night to

remember. A dog therapy group called “Canines for Christ” also made a special appearance. Pastor Clayton Bell wholeheartedly embraced the opportunity to host the “Night to Shine” at Trinity New Life Church. “We don’t want to be just located in a community, we want to be a part of that community,” explained Bell. “Here in Pasco County, we have a huge population of those with special needs and we don’t want to ignore what’s going on in our own community. We want to dive in to be a blessing and bring life, encouragement, and faith to them as well.” Event coordinator Kala Hamilton, says, “It wasn’t just an act of love

from the community, it was a blessing for the community. We brought in 120 volunteers and many of these people didn’t realize how amazing and inspiring the special needs community is. Many are just now being touched by how special this population can be and now it’s just going to spread like wildfire.” One volunteer stated, “If it truly takes a village to raise a child, then maybe it also takes a village to throw a prom worthy of such special guests. Not only did they shine, their overwhelming appreciation and joy was so contagious that I knew I was experiencing something special. It is something I will never forget.”

and they will help you get started today. During her years of working as a public health director, Dr. Kelli Maw saw many patients struggling with their weight and the chronic illnesses brought on by weight gain. “There are many illnesses that can be caused by weight gain,” says Dr. Maw, “diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, increased chance of strokes, and arthritis to name just a few. At Medi-Weightloss, we develop personalized plans based on your health, your goals, and your current weight. We give you knowledge and tools to help you succeed. This plan is even great for people who travel a lot or work at night because we help educate you so you can make the right decisions when you’re eating at a restaurant. We also help you with a personalized exercise plan that can be done anywhere, whether you’re at home or at a hotel.” “My wife’s friend told her about Medi-Weightloss Clinics,” says Joseph Alvarez, Director of Operations for Boston Market. “After several failed

attempts at other diets, I had little hope that this one would work. Boy was I wrong. I lost 13 pounds the first week! This kept me motivated to keep trying, and week after week I kept losing more weight. In just 5 months, I reached my goal of 80 pounds lost. I feel great! I went from a size 44 to 36. My overall health has improved dramatically. My doctor cut my blood pressure medication in half and took me off of my cholesterol medication completely. I have more energy to play with my kids and my golf game is a lot better. Now, almost 5 years later, I am still maintaining my weight loss. I could not have achieved this goal if it wasn’t for the motivation and support I received and still receive from the

moment, “It was on a flight a couple of years ago that the truth finally hit me. The seat’s armrests dug into my hips and when I went to fasten my seat belt, I could barely push the ends together. I realized then my weight was out of control. I knew my weight would get worse unless I did something. I had to try. After only one week, I was 8 pounds lighter and each week thereafter, the weight seemed to magically disappear. Everyday activities are no longer traumatic events. I truly feel like a different person. I’ve lost 106 pounds! My body fat and LDL cholesterol numbers have dropped dramatically and I now love the woman I see in the mirror. None of this would have been possible without the support of Medi-Weightloss Clinic and their supportive staff.” Once you’re a patient of MediWeightloss Clinics you have access to a motivating and encouraging support group – not just at the clinic but also through access to online videos, recipes, and advice. Suncoast Women’s Care, Gentle OB/GYN for Women by Women By Julie Kanehl If you’re looking for OB/GYN doctors who are knowledgeable, experienced, well respected, and bilingual to boot, then you should meet the doctors at Suncoast Women’s Care. Conveniently located at 2044 Trinity Oaks Boulevard, on the second floor of the Trinity Medical Arts Building, Suncoast Women’s Care has been a trusted facility “for women and by women” since 2002. Women of all ages love the approachable doctors and cozy atmosphere of Suncoast Women’s Care, and the excellent care provided there. When Wanda I. Torres, MD, FACOG, opened Suncoast Women’s Care, it was important to her to offer a facility where women would be seen by female doctors, saying, “We understand what it’s like to be the patient.” Her sweet personality and gentle approach with her patients has made Dr. Torres a local favorite for women of all ages who need care. From puberty through post-menopause, Suncoast Women’s Care is a provider that puts women first, regardless of where they are in their journey.

Malieri Colon-Rivera, MD joined Suncoast Women’s Care this past summer. Like Dr. Torres, she earned her degree and completed her residency at the University District Hospital in San Juan, affiliated to University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine. Originally a Primary Care doctor, Dr. Colon truly felt a calling to become an OB/GYN doctor, and says having a background in Primary Care has come in very handy with her patients. Offering a comprehensive approach to OB/GYN care, Dr. Torres and Dr. Colon excel at taking their time with each patient, whether it’s an annual well visit, or a scheduled visit to discuss a concern. The doctors at Suncoast Women’s Care really take the time to bond and connect with their patients, while educating them on their many options from birth control to birth plans, and from understanding the importance of mammograms to questions about their monthly cycle. Additionally, Dr. Torres and Dr. Colon both perform gynecological procedures, both in office and at nearby hospitals like Mease Countryside and Morton Plant North Bay Hos-

pital. Smaller procedures can be done in office or right next door at the BayCare Surgery Center. Top Notch Gynecological Care Today, things like hysterectomies and the removal of fibroids can be done with less pain and in less time, and the best part is that it requires almost none of the recovery time that it used to. Using Robotic Assisted Surgery, the physicians at Suncoast Women’s Care combine their gentle approach with the very best in technology to help women heal quickly and get back to their busy lives. Often, the doctors at Suncoast Women’s Care can help patients avoid surgery by offering other therapies such as physical therapy for pelvic floor rehabilitation. The best part is that you won’t even have to go anywhere else. They have a physical therapist who offers biofeedback therapy right in their office. Dr. Torres says, “Some studies have shown that biofeedback therapy helps 85-95 percent of women.” Suncoast Women’s Care also offers urodynamic testing in the office. When a woman is having problems with pelvic

as to what my options were and I trusted in her completely. I had to take the proper steps to try to correct my issues. I had the hysteroscopic procedure right in her office. I was so glad that the she offers the procedure to be done in her office. Everyone was so comforting, even being as nervous I as was, it was very quick and I didn’t have any pain or discomfort after the procedure.” Another patient said, “I had the DaVinci Robotic Hysterectomy performed by Dr Torres at Mease Countryside Hospital...I am now a ‘new’ woman! Dr Torres is my Super Hero! What fantastic teamwork at the hospital in all phases of my surgical stay. Twenty-four hours after surgery I was ready to go home! I have been a patient of Dr Torres … for approximately eight years. I am most impressed that they truly listen to you plus being professional, knowledgeable, skillful and caring.” Obstetrics that You and Your Baby Can Trust Choosing a doctor to help you deliver is a big decision! Whether you’re just thinking about conceiving or you’re looking for a physician to help deliver your third or fourth child, the

physicians at Suncoast Women’s Care simply love delivering babies. Their patient, calm approach during your pregnancy and delivery will make the entire experience that much better. Delivering at Mease Countryside Hospital, where they have an incredible NICU for peace of mind, Dr. Torres and Dr. Colon are dedicated and experienced at making sure that your little one’s entrance into the world is in good hands. When you’re pregnant, it’s so important to have a group of professionals at the ready, just in case you have questions, symptoms, or any kind of concern. Dr. Torres and Dr. Colon work with each patient to develop an ideal birthing plan, so that everyone is on the same page. They can help you decide if an epidural is right for you, and discuss the possibilities of caesarean sections and where they come into play. Each pregnancy is different, and each woman is different, which is why Suncoast Women’s Care treats each individual patient with respect. For those women who prefer a natural birth experience, Suncoast Women’s Care is proud to have Karen Vaughn-Kerns, ARNP, CNM on staff as a Nurse-Midwife. She offers many years of experience, helping many women give birth to healthy babies.

Lisa said, “I have been going to Dr Torres since 2004. My first baby was born in 2005 and I have two other babies since then delivered by [Suncoast Women’s Care]. I love this group. All of the staff and midwives are so nice and helpful. I feel comfortable every time I come to this office. I would recommend this office to anyone looking for a gynecologist, and have many times.” If you’re looking for an OB/GYN physician who will stand by your side and provide professional and experienced care, choose Dr. Torres and Dr. Colon at Suncoast Women’s Care in

Trinity. They accept most insurance companies, and work hard to make your experience a positive and pleasant one. They are open Monday – Thursday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. and from 9 a.m.–3 p.m. on Friday; closed during lunch from 12:30-1:30 p.m. To make an appointment, call 727-376-0060 or visit the website, www.SuncoastWomensCare.com.

“Cleaning Angels” Continued from page 1 needs,” says owner Donna Ferrante. Donna’s Cleaning Angels is a local, full-service cleaning company whose seeds were planted with love 24 years ago by Donna Ferrante. First it was love of family and the need for extra money that prompted the single mother to start a small side business cleaning houses. Love of family grew to love of clients and the self-fulfillment that comes from doing for others. Donna’s kids even helped out in the early years – her son, then 11, and his friend put fliers on cars at the Sunday services. Feeling that she’d found her true purpose, Donna devoted herself to growing her client base. She saw that by providing a stellar cleaning service, she was instrumental in helping people to enjoy their homes again. At one of her first cleaning jobs, she bonded with an elderly lady under Hospice care and she was the inspiration behind the name of the company. Donna is still emotional as she recalls bonding with her client and giving her a crystal angel. Just before passing, the lady referred to Donna as her cleaning angel.

30

Years later, after falling and breaking her ankle, Donna hired her first employee. Now, bigger and better than ever, with 22 employees and 24 years later, Donna has built the number one cleaning service in Tampa Bay, which offers exceptional service and a superior outcome. The fully licensed, bonded and insured company provides you with a team of “cleaning angels” who are background checked, drugfree and covered by worker’s compensation. They also adhere to all OSHA rules. This is important for Donna’s employees’ protection, as well as her clients’ protection. “I have one customer who [previous to hiring Donna’s Cleaning Angels] had hired an individual who did not carry workman’s compensation,” explains Donna. “This person was not wearing non-slip shoes and ended up falling while cleaning the shower and hitting her head sustaining a serious injury. She sued the homeowner and won. My clients don’t have to worry about that because I carry the liability.” Donna’s Cleaning Angels work as a team, and they are always presentable and friendly, with matching uniforms and non-slip shoes. They bring everything they need to provide you

You’ll love having Donna’s Cleaning Angels walk in your door, uniformed and carrying all cleaning supplies needed to get your home sparkling clean! with an exceptional cleaning. Donna explains, “My teams come in with a large canvas kit with all of their cleaning supplies, all of which are of the highest quality and kept in separate plastic bags. The cleaning teams are trained on what products to use. We

never use bag-less vacuums because they are unsanitary. Our vacuums are commercial grade, and include a stair vacuum, an upright vacuum and a canister vacuum. The bags are changed often and they are checked and wiped down before every clean.”

Neighborhood News & Lifestyles

Donna continues, “I offer a very unique and personable cleaning service. My teams spend twice the time as other services for less money. There is a lot more to providing a good cleaning service than just the cleaning. It’s the care and professionalisms that comes from all of us, from management, to the scheduling, down to the teams who really care about doing a great job.” The cleaning teams check off a list, covering everything from baseboards to the ceiling fans to the stainless steel hood over the stove. A team leader is on every job. “The girls are happy when they work together,” says Donna. “It’s safer for them and they have good energy together.” Plus, the teammates hold each other accountable and checks behind each other to make sure nothing is missed. Comment cards, meetings with the staff, and client calls to make sure the job was done correctly also help ensure customers are not only happy with the first cleaning, but every cleaning with Donna’s Cleaning Angels. The angels clean the Florida homes of folks from as far away as Alaska and even Canada! “This is not a cleaning service

Neighborhood News & Lifestyles

that is done at four o’clock,” says Donna. “My office manager Maria – who by the way is outstanding - and I are here from seven a.m. until eight or nine at night. I have been doing this for 24 years and I have plenty of references to provide people with, not only from customers but from many businesses in the area who know of me because I support other local businesses and restaurants.” Sylvia and Marcus Hernandez, who own Hernandez Accounting Solutions, Inc. in Land O’ Lakes, have used Donna’s Cleaning Angels for over eight years. Sylvia says, “Donna’s Cleaning Angels is a very reliable company. The staff is friendly and professional. The price is reasonable and they do a really good job.” Donna has had many articles in Neighborhood News & Lifestyles and says there are a lot of times when people find out the name of her business and say, “Oh I hear good things about your service.” She says, “I have one client who told me she’d been reading my stories for five years. She said, ‘I knew that one day when I needed to hire a cleaning service, it would be you.’ Then she gave me a big hug and said that she felt like she’s known me

for a long time.” People like knowing Donna’s background and the work ethic she learned from her hard-working Italian and French Canadian family in the small town of Gorham, in the white mountains of New Hampshire where her family has owned an Italian restaurant for over 67 years. Donna explains, “The dedication and success in my cleaning business is due to the closeness of my wonderful family. I am proud and honored to say that I am following in the footsteps of my parents and grandparents. We know how to cook, clean and we give 100 percent to the business.”

Reflecting, Donna says, “At the end of the day I thank God for my blessings – the great people who work for me, a great business, my health, my home, my loved ones and my family. God bless you all.” If you are ready for a heavenly clean, please call Donna’s Cleaning Angels at 727-942-8289. The company services Pasco, Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties. Gift certificates are available. If you are a customer of Donna’s Cleaning Angels, it is possible to receive a free cleaning by referring a friend; please call for details.

“Rockstar” Continued from page 1 sports complex at Bishop McLaughlin is where the Rockstar Ranch is currently held while the final plans are being made for the Rockstar Baseball Ranch’s future home. Rockstar has established a training system that gives each child the tools and skills they need to develop into a competitive player at any level. The ability to increase a child’s confidence by giving them the skills they need to compete and succeed has proven not only to provide a better youth baseball experience but a greater opportunity in life. Rockstar Performance Baseball has six batting cages, six bull pens, two fields, two practice fields, five MLB pitching machines, batting tee and soft toss station areas, fitness area, running track, concessions, and a field general machine as used by the Phillies Spring Training and Clearwater Threshers for their defensive training to provide max repetitions. In other words, at Rockstar, your child will experience baseball training in one of the best facilities in the area.

Coach Pryor says, “At Rockstar, we believe that every kid has the potential to be a good, if not a great, baseball player! Most kids simply don’t receive the training and coaching needed to help them realize their full potential. It doesn’t take months or years to get better…It takes days and weeks. Baseball is very much a process. We are constantly building on skills. There is a lot repetition involved, but we teach the kids and their parents drills they can work on at home.” Whatever he is doing, it is working well for the kids. Pryor shares, “All of my kids are excelling and the parents have really stepped up to help their kids.” In fact, he says that the program isn’t only good for the kids. Using the principles laid out by Dr. Tom Hanson in his book Play Big, Coach Pryor even offers a two-day parent course to help parents learn how to support and encourage young athletes in a way that they will respond to. “It has been phenomenal to see the relationship improve between kids and parents because of this program.” He says that several dads now volunteer with their children’s teams, whereas before they’d been hesitant feeling that they didn’t know enough to coach. ply attending the Rockstar sessions and watching the drills and practicing them at home, these dads gained enough of a baseball education to step up and make a difference for many kids. “We focus on three things at Rockstar: teaching kids how to play the game of baseball; teaching them how to have fun at baseball; and teaching life lessons. We teach the Core 4. One is to hustle, it doesn’t take skill to hustle, just effort. Num-

ber two is to concentrate and have focus. Number three is having a good attitude and finally, the fourth thing is to choose appropriate words toward themselves and others.” Laura, a Rockstar mom, shares, “Our son Tony has always displayed natural talent, when it comes to sports. Playing baseball since age four, he’s always excelled. He was missing, though, the confidence and mechanics to take it to the next level. Working one on one with Coach Ryan Pryor of

Rockstar was exactly what Tony needed! Through Coach Ryan’s drills, dedication, and techniques, Tony developed even further. His confidence soared and his batting and throwing motion, while always a work in progress, are exponentially better. Tony also took part in Rockstar’s valuable Summer Program, and he now has as a freshman made both the fall and spring JV baseball teams at his high school. We are beyond proud and ecstatic. Thank you Coach!” Parent Eric Baum says, “Coach Prior has been working with my son Wesley, age 8, for just a few short months however we have seen significant improvement in his game already. Coach Prior started from the beginning: walking both Wesley and myself through each movement and technique individually. It is amazing how much of a difference building from the ground up has made not just in Wesley’s skill level but his confidence as well. One thing that separates Rockstar Baseball from other training programs out there is that they show you, the parent, how to teach, drill, and improve your child’s game. You are essentially getting two lessons for the price of one, very valuable. We are very much looking for-

ward to participating in the upcoming summer program and truly immersing ourselves in the game. I have no doubt that this will take Wesley to the next skill level. Thanks Coach Ryan, for everything.” About Coach Ryan Pryor Prior to Bishop McLaughlin baseball, Coach Pryor was Varsity Assistant at Wiregrass Ranch High School with Coach Jeff Swymer where in his final year the team finished 20–9, set a school record, and were a state semifinalist. Pryor says, “Coach Swymer came to Bishop McLaughlin in the 2013–2014 seasons and I followed him over with the opportunity to build a powerhouse program in Pasco County. In our first season we were loaded up with underclassmen that had a lot to learn about the game and on any given night we had 3-5 freshmen starting, however we racked up another 20–8 season and won the District Championship Title against Tampa Prep. Heading into the 2015 season we have the opportunity to win another district title and make a real run for a state championship.” Coach Pryor had the opportunity in college to play with such names like Bobby Jones who pitched for the NY

Mets, Tommy Godwin a former Dodger, Ed Zosky a former Blue Jay, and Matt Williams who played for the San Francisco Giants and who is now the Washington Nationals manager. Coach Pryor landed a coaching position as the Assistant British National Coach while playing in Europe. If you are looking to give your young athlete the winning edge, Rockstar Performance Baseball is your answer. This summer, instead of playing too many video games, your player can work on specific skills to improve his/her throwing game, fielding techniques and how to plant that foot – yes, do you know what a “back load” is? Sign up now and your child will learn the tips and techniques – the exact sweet spot for their thumb, grips, elbow strikes, isolations and stances – to take their game to the next level. “Time flies by at the Ranch,” says Coach Pryor.
