you hit your 40s, it’s not so easy to drop the weight and everything seems to start slowing down – your metabolism, your energy level and your libido can take a dive. For most people, it’s at age 40 and beyond that they are finally reaping the benefits of hard work and have the means to travel and enjoy

play, but what good is that if you’re so tired after work that you just want to sit on the couch? Wouldn’t it be wonderful to feel like an active 20-yearold? Founder and CEO of National Rejuvenation Centers, Bartley H. Kerr, D.C., says you can! He knows firsthand because at age 45, he does have energy to burn and uses much of it enjoying time with his wife and playing with their young daughters. And, he has seen the difference in his patients who report back that they feel fantastic! Dr. Kerr says, “I have patients in their 60s who say ‘I could take my 20-year-old self’ because they feel better now than they have ever felt in their life.” See “NRC” on page 44.

5K & 1-Mile Family Fun Run “Saving the Skin You’re In”

Sat., May 18, 8:30 AM––The 2nd Annual “A Dash for Cover” 5K and 1-Mile Family Fun Run presented by Palm Harbor Dermatology will be held at John Chestnut Park in Palm Harbor. A Dash for Cover 5K is dedicated to “Saving the Skin You’re In” and all proceeds benefit the Captain Billek Foundation, a non-profit organization inspired by a heroic patient at Palm Harbor Dermatology, Captain Joe Billek, of Tampa Fire Rescue. From Palm Harbor Dermatology’s website, Amy S. Ross, MD, explains, “We formed a non-profit organization to raise money for melanoma research and awareness. This foundation may also support

patients and families who are diagnosed with melanoma. With your help, we will hopefully see the day when there is an effective treatment for melanoma. I challenge you to reach out, spread the word about skin cancer, and join us in honoring the late Captain Joe Billek. You can make a difference.” Melanoma is the 5th most common cancer among men, the 6th most common cancer among women in the US. Women under age 39 have a higher probability of developing melanoma than any cancer except breast cancer. “This is often the tragedy of melanoma,” says Dr. Ross. “It occurs in young people, often destroying families.” The survival rate for patients whose melanoma is detected early, before the tumor has penetrated the skin, is about 99 percent. The survival rate falls to 15 percent for

Nominations Needed in Pinellas-Wide FREE ROOF Giveaway The national No Roof Left Behind initiative has found sponsorship in Pinellas County. Local company, Arry’s Roofing, is now accepting nominations for the free roof on their website, www.ArrysRoofing.com. There are a few conditions for the program. Nominees must own the home they are living in and be a resident of Pinellas County. Also, the free roof recipient must be current on his/her mortgage payments. Nominees will be accepted until July 19, 2013. A team of local volunteers will review all the nominees and four will be selected as finalists. The four finalists’ stories and photos will be displayed on Arry’s Roofing’s No Roof Left Behind homepage. From August 2 until September 6, 2013 the public will able to vote on the finalist they feel is most-deserving. The roof winner will be revealed online on September 9, 2013 and the installation celebration will be held shortly thereafter. The Housh family is celebrating

23 years in the roofing industry. “We don’t just work in Pinellas County. We live here, shop here and have raised our families here. We wanted to let the community know just how important they are to us,” says Arry Housh, president of Arry’s Roofing. “We have always been involved in community projects since we started our business. Giving away a free roof seemed like a logical way to do that, and this is a very creative way to get the community to join us.” One of the most important things for the Arry’s Roofing family is community outreach. When a fellow contractor from Detroit, MI highlighted the No Roof Left Behind program as a way to thank communities for their support, Arry Housh knew it would be a great fit for the big hearted team at Arry’s Roofing. “We are just so excited about implementing a philanthropic program like this at home,” says Arry. “It is just a natural fit here in Pinellas County. We recognize that not everyone can

afford to get his or her roof replaced. But having a secure roof overhead can bring peace of mind to a family in need.” Other local businesses are asked to show their community appreciation as well. “We think it’s a great way to rally the community together,” offers Matthew Housh, vice president of Arry’s Roofing. “That’s why we’re inviting other Pinellas County businesses to show support

by way of donations. You don’t have to swing a hammer or even get dirty to help out. Just give us a call and we’ll find a place for you.” For more information about Arry’s Roofing, their No Roof Left Behind program and interviews with Arry Housh or Matthew Housh, please call 727938-4288 or visit online at www.ArrysRoofing.com.

Forbidden Images Tattoo Art Studio

Capturing a Moment of Your Life in Ink By Alexis Selby Tattooing, an art form that has been around for over 4,000 years, is a symbolic way for people to express to the world their beliefs and feelings, while showcasing unique aspects of their personality and their taste in design and artistry. For centuries, people have used their skin as canvas for tattoo art to beautify their body, serve as an expression of individuality, pay tribute to a loved one or simply signify a form of adornment. “Tattoos tell stories of your

life,” says Litos, owner and head tattoo artist at Forbidden Images, “and my job as a fine art tattooist is to master the ability to stop time and capture it on your skin.” Litos has been in the tattoo industry for over 35 years. Originally from Rio De Janeiro, Brasil, he has dedicated his life to creating art on paper, canvas and skin. Recognized in the industry with numerous national and international awards for his art, he still has the same passion as when he first started. “I am blessed and honored to be chosen to be the artist responsible to immortalize

my clients’ most special images,” says Litos. His work can be viewed at the website at www.ForbiddenImages.com. Litos runs the shop alongside his wife Julie and talented tattoo artist Steven Cornicelli. Steven Cornicelli After walking into Forbidden Images in early 2012, Steven was astounded by the artistic atmosphere of the shop. “Just walking into the shop inspires you,” says Steven. “I met with Litos and Julie and they offered me a chance of a lifetime – I took it!”

The new tattoo art studio is an Asian Zen style with some industrial touches. The talent of his wife Julie, and her vision to decorate, created a space of inspiration and tranquility. Together, Litos and Julie form a combination of confidence, trust and comfort for those who experience their studio. “Anyone can paint a picture, but to make you feel it is a gift,” says Litos. “Forbidden Images is committed to the individual expression of art. Providing a Lifetime of Healthy Oral Care for Kids By Julie Kanehl Trinity Pediatric Dentistry is a brand new state-of-the-art pediatric dental practice that is geared toward making the entire family comfortable. Located in the Trinity Professional Plaza, at the corner of Little Road and Mitchell Boulevard, Trinity Pediatric Dentistry treats infants, children and teens. The moment they walk into the office, parents are greeted by Trinity Pediatric Dentistry’s friendly, experienced staff members who are dedicated to the health of every child under their care. Children are instantly put at ease with the happy, familiar Disney characters throughout the office, not to mention the many fun activities to play with while they wait to be seen. There are iPads filled with kid-friendly games to play on, toys and activities on one side of the waiting room, and a calm and relaxing area on the other side for mom and dad. All of

Dr. Chris is a Florida native from nearby St. Petersburg, and he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from Emory University where he double majored and graduated Summa Cum Laude. He then attended the University of Florida College of Dentistry (UFCD), where he earned his doctorate with High Honors. He continued his education at the prestigious University of Florida/Shands Hospital by completing his residency and specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry. No stranger to dentistry, Dr. Chris’s parents are in the dental field, and his beautiful new wife, Robin, is a dentist as well! Dr. Chris is a Specialist in Pediatric Dentistry and his goal is to make every experience at his office a positive

one. Trinity Pediatric Dentistry has two experienced Dental Assistants as well, Susan Horton and Alisha Kirby, who are both cross-trained and who love working with kids of all ages. Dr. Chris says, “My hope is that my patients have a smile on their face when they come in and a smile when they leave.” One local mom said, “I took my daughter to Trinity Pediatric Dentistry…Dr. Chris and his staff were so awesome with my daughter. She is normally nervous at the dentist, but she came out smiling and wanting to floss! The office is very cool with flat screen TVs for kids to watch while they get their teeth worked on. They give personal attention to their patients in a positive environment. I highly recommend them!” Families Love Dr. Chris Working with children is a bit of a calling. Ask any teacher, pediatrician or in this case, pediatric dentist, and they’ll tell you that working with kids is something that they are naturally good at, and something that they really enjoy doing. Similarly, while completing his dental training, Dr. Chris rotated through the pediatric program and just knew that was where he belonged.

“I’ve always connected and related well to children, and I like to have fun and be myself while I’m at work,” says Dr. Chris. They call me Dr. Elmo because I do Elmo impersonations sometimes. The kids love it.” Wanting to create an office that would make everyone feel happy and comfortable, Dr. Chris actually had a team from Disney come in and decorate his practice, and kids from 1 to 99 get a kick out of that. The artists even added a cartoon version of their puppy, Frisco! He opened Trinity Pediatric Dentistry in August of 2012, and families love that it’s a fun, happy place to come and get those pearly whites taken care of. Parents love Trinity Pediatric Dentistry as well because their focus is on communication, prevention, and taking their time. Dr. Chris says, “Unlike other offices, I won’t double-book my patients. Instead, I book one family at a time, and I do that because I look at parents as part of the team.” He adds, “At each visit I give the parents a handout of information because I’m a resource to the parents. I want to make sure they’re able to assist with brushing and flossing. Prevention is definitely key.”

Entrepreneurial Style – Four Stylists Find Their Place at Salon Lofts Stylists Photos by lilfrecklefacephotography.com When I visited Salon Lofts on Tampa Road in Oldsmar to meet four stylists who are opening up their own Lofts there, I was very impressed with the swanky feel of the space – as if you’ve steeped off a side street in Manhattan to a quiet, upscale salon and spa. The four ambitious, young stylists that I spoke with – Katy Yeager, Melissa McGrade, Cicely McKee and Heather Winder – were attracted not just by the great décor and premium products offered at Salon Lofts; they also loved the way the company encourages entrepreneurship by providing them with a range of online tools and a personalized marketing platform where they can grow their own business, and easily manage their schedules online where it is a breeze for clients to log on and set an appointment. Katy Yeager – in Loft 2 – is an Aveda Institute graduate and has been doing hair in the area for eight years. Katy continued on with her education after

graduation from cosmetology school is certified to teach in-salon training. “I love the concept of Salon Lofts,” says Katy. “Changing into this atmosphere has made every one of us happier. It has reignited our passion.” Katy is passionate about both cuts and color, and many of her clients come to her for her great blonde highlights. With far more than 14,000 hours behind the chair, Katy pays incredible attention to detail, and is dedicated to providing a standard of service that is unrivaled starting with a detailed consultation to cater to each guest’s specific needs. Katy treats clients to a scalp massage and a hot towel treatment. “There would be no greater compliment than the opportunity to service you and gain your trust as your hair specialist.” - Katy Yeager Heather Winder – Loft 4 – has worked in the salon business for 14 years. “I’ve spent my whole career at Aveda,” says Heather. “This is my first big move

but I wanted to create a more personable space for my clients.” The Salon Lofts ambiance is perfect for Heather and her clients, with its beautifully appointed loft space, personalized by Heather and her friend and fellow Loft buddy, Cicely McKee. “I love being able to have my own business without tons of overhead. Salon Lofts provides a lot of support for us.” Heather loves making her clients’ locks shine with beauty and is very passionate about natural-looking color and classic style. Cicely McKee – Loft 4 – has been a hairstylist with Aveda for 17 years. Cicely started doing hair in high school and went to Dunedin High School’s cosmetology program before attending the Aveda Institute. “I love my coworkers,” says Cicely, who shares Loft 4 with stylist Heather Winder. “We are excited to be independent stylists and small business owners.” Salon Lofts allows each stylist to use their favorite product line. Cicely uses Davines, and says, “It

I love my career and trying new things.” Melissa McGrade – Loft 3 – is also an Aveda Institute trained hairstylist. “I have been in the hair industry for 12 successful years,” says Melissa. “I found my passion for hair up in Michigan where I attended and graduated from the Aveda Institute. I enjoy my craft and creativity when it comes to enhancing a person overall color and style. Cutting comes naturally to me and I love both cuts and color. It is fun making people look pretty and the results are immediate, which is what I like. I love what my work brings to a person’s attitude and self-confidence. We are in the

Boot Ranch Chiropractic & Wellness Center Hands-On Healthcare Since 1990 By Kim Thomas If you have ever experienced your neck or back going out, then you already know how debilitating it can be. It can happen with a simple misstep such as stepping out of the shower wrong or even catching yourself before a fall. Suddenly, it is incredibly painful to move and can even be hard to breathe deeply. There is no need to suffer! Boot Ranch Chiropractic & Wellness Center has been providing hands-on chiropractic and wellness care for 23 years to patients in East Lake, Palm Harbor, Tarpon Springs and beyond. Whether you need a simple adjustment to help keep your spine healthy or you or have a more serious injury that requires chiropractic care complemented by massage therapy and physiotherapy, Dr. Ruskin at Boot Ranch Chiropractic & Wellness Center in East Lake wants to help you. Back in 1990, when Les Ruskin, DC, opened Boot Ranch Chiropractic

& Wellness Center, the East Lake area of Palm Harbor was actively growing, with new neighborhoods springing up and businesses opening to meet the needs of a fast-growing community. Dr. Ruskin wanted to be right here, in East Lake, where he could settle in, put his patients on the path to wellness and keep them there. “We’ve really grown with the area,” says Dr. Ruskin, who enjoys treating patients of all ages, from infants to elderly. With growth comes change, and due to an excellent reputation and a great amount of referrals, Boot Ranch Chiropractic & Wellness Center outgrew its former location at the Shoppes of Boot Ranch in Palm Harbor. In December 2012, Dr. Ruskin moved his office just a couple of blocks away to its new location at 4168 Woodlands Parkway in Suite B at Stonebridge Park at Boot Ranch. “We are really happy to be in this new location,” said Dr. Ruskin. “We gave it a complete facelift before moving in and we have much more room

here.” The new office is appointed with a modern and simplistic décor that is as refreshing as it is serene. In addition to comprehensive chiropractic care, Boot Ranch Chiropractic & Wellness Center provides adjunct therapies including therapeutic massage and physiotherapy such as EMS (electrical muscle stimulation) and ultrasound treatments, which utilize sound waves to address inflammation and muscle spasm.

The Boot Ranch Chiropractic Team Dr. Ruskin believes that chiropractic care is helpful for everyone. “It’s not just pain relief,” he explains. “And we don’t just treat symptoms. We try to find out what is causing the patient pain and correct the underlying problem.” With a goal to help his patients live well and enjoy full range

Dr. Ruskin keeps current on advances in the chiropractic field by attending yearly conventions and educational seminars. He has completed post-graduate certification in accident injury management and dynamic motion X-ray. Dr. Ruskin has literally gotten patients back on their feet again, even following serious car accidents. Living in a high traffic area, Dr. Ruskin sees a lot of car accident victims. His expertise is supported by the constant referrals from his patients, as well as from area attorneys and other healthcare providers. He says, “I have established relationships with excellent orthopaedists, neurologists, and MRI providers to provide a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.” Taking a personal interest in patients, Dr. Ruskin and his staff are gen-

If Dr. Ruskin determines that massage will help you, Licensed Massage Therapists Cheryl Putnam and Ray Boucher are used to working with patients of all ages with all types of needs. Both Ray and Cheryl specialize in deep tissue, therapeutic, neuromuscular and relaxation massage techniques, and both truly love seeing patients improve. Coach Larry Beets – A Long Legacy Of Coaching By Alexis Selby There are certain people who we encounter who will forever make a lasting impression in our lives; who inspire us to be better and help shape us to become the people we are today. Baseball coach Larry Beets is one of those people. For over 36 years Coach Beets has served as a mentor, a coach, a teacher, and most importantly, a friend. He has taught the importance of hard work and dedication and helped his students and his players to succeed in both the classroom and on the field. Coach Beets says, “Baseball is not all about winning or losing; it is about making a difference in people’s lives. It is about the people you meet and the relationships you build and getting the most out of your players, the other coaches and most importantly – yourself.” I was fortunate enough to have been a student of Coach Beets, and it is my honor to write about the legacy of such an inspirational mentor! Coach Beets grew up playing ball,

and his coaching career began with a love of the game and a vision. He says, “I got into coaching because I wanted to be able to give athletes that sense of camaraderie that I experienced playing sports and convey to others what my coaches gave to me.” After graduating from Austin Peay State University in Tennessee, he accepted a coaching position at Gulf High School in 1974, thus beginning his career. After coaching for five years, including three at Gulf High and two at Hudson, Coach Beets transferred to Ridgewood, where he remained as the head varsity coach for the next 28 years. When he started at Ridgewood, it was merely a junior high school, and together with other members of the staff helped build the baseball stadium from the ground up. Step-by-step and brick-bybrick Coach Beets helped lay the foundation for Ridgewood High School’s baseball team and the future of their athletic program. Coach Beets is married to Donna, his lovely wife of 40 years who he met in college, who is also a teacher, and together they have a beautiful daughter Bethany.

ELHS Baseball Coach Dan Genna & Coach Larry Beets Much of Ridgewood’s baseball success could be attributed to Coach Beets’ rigorous work ethic and strategy. “Repetition is the key to success,” says Coach Beets. “We never took a day off. If it rained we waited for the rain to clear. I didn’t want my players to get used to going home – they

Sweet Caroline’s Bakery & Café is Baked from Scratch & Served with Charm By Julie Kanehl I grew up going to the same bakery that my parents went to; for that’s where their parents had been ordering breads, pastries and cakes for special occasions for as long as they could remember. With the freshest treats in town, no other bakery was an option, and over the years, going to the bakery became a tradition and a rite of passage. Plus, if you got to sit in the front seat with Grampy on the way, then dessert was going to taste that much sweeter. The spirit of Sweet Caroline’s is the same as that old bakery – offering fresh baked breads, pastries, cupcakes, scones and cakes, all made with love and baked from scratch for all of your family’s special occasions. Located at 3347 Tampa Road, in

the Shoppes at Cloverplace near the Lake St. George intersection, Sweet Caroline’s Bakery has been using the old standby of finding the way to everyone’s hearts via their stomachs since they opened in 2009. Now, customers have another reason to lick their lips and pat their tummies because Sweet Caroline’s recently expanded their bakery to include a café that will offer unique sandwiches, quiches, homemade soups, gourmet coffee and a place to sit, sip and enjoy. The new addition will be formally introduced at their Sweet Caroline’s Bakery Café Grand Opening on May 22, and to celebrate, Sweet Caroline’s will be holding an exciting customer appreciation event that will give everyone a taste, along with live music, drawings and prizes.

“NRC” Continued from page 1 Dr. Kerr is passionate about Rejuvenation Medicine and strives to be at the forefront of the scientific community in order to help the patients at National Rejuvenation Centers (NRC) regain their passion for life. NRC, located on US 19 N in Palm Harbor behind Lee Roy Selmon’s restaurant, is not an anti-aging clinic. Dr. Kerr explains, “The term anti-aging really doesn’t make sense because people are going to age. What we offer is Rejuvenation Medicine, which is a combination of bio-identical hormone replacement therapy, nutrition and exercise that is different for every patient because every patient is different. Our goal is to bring our patients’ hormone levels back to that of a healthy, athletic 20-year-old so they have the energy and ability to do the things they want to do. Not only that, we want to help them look better too.” Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) has been around for years and has had its share of controversy but Dr. Kerr explains that advances in this area of medicine is literally changing lives. “Bio-identical HRT is a lot different than traditional HRT,” says Dr. Kerr. “For one thing, you can’t just give a patient one hormone and expect all of their hormone levels to be balanced and optimized. We go over each patient’s medical history in detail and keep a close check on his or her blood work throughout his or her treatment. We do comprehensive blood work complete with hormone panels at the onset of care to devise a treatment plan specific to the patient’s needs. I want all of my patients’ blood profiles to be perfect.” He explains that by balancing hormones, the body is actually protected. “Real progesterone makes women feel good, decreases PMS, increases sex drive and it’s anti-carcinogenic – it’s good stuff!” Of course, anything that you take has side effects, right? Dr. Kerr does say that NRC patients have reported side effects during treatment –body fat loss, better muscle tone, better sex life, energy, elevated mood, clearer thinking and clarity, and an overall feeling of wellbeing and happiness. Joining the Rejuvenation Nation Dr. Kerr has always been passionate about hormone therapy, nutrition, and exercise. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of

44

South Florida and then earned his D.C. degree from Logan University in St. Louis, Missouri in 1998. Working with some of the leading minds in hormone therapy, exercise and nutrition for over two decades, he really wanted to help people live their best lives, and when his own father began to grow older and lose his love for life, Dr. Kerr looked into integrating rejuvenation medicine into his own practice. He recalls, “My mother called me one day and said my dad was dying. He had suffered too many strokes and he was frail. I said, ‘Dad, you’ve got to try this stuff.’” His father, who is almost 80, was not interested in anything and was going to bed at 4:30 in the afternoon. “Around the five-week mark [after starting bio-identical HRT] I stopped by after work to find my dad throwing a football with a kid from down the street! Now, he feels so good that we have to tell him to slow down.” After seeing the difference in his own father, Dr. Kerr became dedicated to helping others reclaim their lives, and really enjoy every moment, so he founded the National Rejuvenation Centers. The main goal for the doctors at National Rejuvenation Centers is to educate their patients, and the public, on the new direction of hormone replacement. Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy is different because it is made up of supplemental doses of hormones that have a chemical structure identical to the hormones that the human body already creates, and it is becoming a very popular solution to the stressful lives that so many people are leading. Many people are turning to Rejuvenation Medicine. In fact, according to her website, even Oprah is using it. There was a time when this type of treatment was only for the wealthy, but that isn’t the case at NRC. “I wanted to make this affordable for the average person,” says Dr. Kerr. NRC’s patients are from all walks of life, from civil service employees to millionaires, men and women are finding renewed joy for life and boundless energy with the help of the doctors, trainers, and nutrition experts at NRC.

Patients feel comfortable talking with Dr. Kerr about their health concerns and their expectations from treatment at National Rejuvenation Centers Most patients notice that they sleep better. This was one of the first things that Dr. Kerr noticed in himself. He says, “When I started, one of the first things I noticed was better sleep which your body needs – it’s recovering while you sleep.” Catherine A. is 46 and started the program just over a year ago. She shares, “I have noticed changes in muscle tone, skin tone, and I sleep 8 hours per night easily!” Cat loves the benefits she has experienced and says her sex drive and her energy level is great. She also appreciates the fact the

Dr. Kerr considers your entire medical background and encourages patients to talk to their other doctors about everything they are doing. “This program is highly recommended with the caveat that you share all information with your General Practitioner and GYN (if you are a female). I am a firm believer that ALL doctors should be involved and engaged with what their patient is doing regarding supplements, meds and natural hormones. It is also critical to understand that a healthy lifestyle is important. Exercise, healthy eating habits and CHEATING

Patients See and Feel the Difference NRC Makes Arman E., a certified personal trainer in Trinity who is 49, says, “I have noticed much improved energy levels since starting my program [at NRC].”

Cynthia says, “I just wanted to let you know how happy I’ve been since I made the decision to get started with your practice and being started on my hormone therapy program. Your physician-monitored program has worked wonders for me so far and it is exciting to know that I am still in the beginning phase of my program. I am in my mid-40s and after only a few weeks, I noticed better muscle tone, a leaner physique, better sleep habits and, most importantly, an overall better feeling of wellbeing and a zest for life.” Mike K., who is 65, says, “The NRC protocol has enabled me to meet all of my goals relative to coping with my aggressive work/travel schedule,

personal training gains and overall health and wellbeing. I’ve been able add muscle detail without weight gain and through diet and exercise, have been able to eliminate some medication.” Tom D., 57, says, “I have been seeing Dr. Kerr at the National Rejuvenation Centers for over one year. Since starting the program I have more energy. My metabolism has increased and I have lost 12 pounds in the first 6 months. I am getting 8 to 9 hours of sleep each night and waking up refreshed and ready to tackle my day.” NRC patient Donna, who will be 53 this April, says, “A big thanks to Dr. Kerr and staff for making a difference in my life. After only six months, I no longer have problems sleeping, don’t experience night sweats, my thinking is clearer and sharper, my memory improved and I have found that my immune system is stronger and my energy level has increased. I’ve been told that I look better and that my mood is always good. I look forward to the months ahead knowing that things will continue to improve both inside and out! I’m a fan – thanks again Dr. Kerr!” Start Your Own Journey to Vitality The first step in becoming a patient is to meet with the doctors at NRC and have blood work taken to see whether you are hormone deficient in any way. Not surprisingly, most people over 35 are hormone-deficient, because hormones tend to drop out about that time in both men and women. NRC patients also receive a personalized nutrition and exercise protocol as part of their treatment plan, and many patients not only feel better, but lose a good deal of body fat during their treatment. One female patient

who came in seeking relief for severe menstrual cramps was pleasantly surprised when she started losing weight. Not only were her menstrual symptoms resolved, but also after shedding a burdensome 50 pounds, she looks as great as she feels. “There are men and women who are doing everything possible in the gym with no real results. That changes with bio-identical HRT. Trainers refer frustrated clients to us all the time because when your hormones are at the ideal levels, when you work out it actually works,” says Dr. Kerr. NRC isn’t just an HRT clinic. Patients are provided with an individualized training protocol and find that they achieve much better results and don’t have to work out as much or as frequently as they thought it would take to look and feel the way they do. The doctors and staff at NRC are dedicated to helping each client get the results they desire, whether it means changing up an exercise routine, adjusting hormone levels or making better choices for a healthier diet. The team of doctors at NRC is dedicated to continuing their education in the fascinating study of rejuvenation medicine, and is committed to treating each of their patients to the best of their abilities. If you are looking for a way to feel better, look better and have more energy, consider letting the doctors at National Rejuvenation Centers be your confidante for health. They make it affordable and convenient for you and help patients regain their passion for life every day. National Rejuvenation Centers is located at 34254 U.S. Hwy 19 N. in Palm Harbor.
