I’m honored to call so many of them my friends and look forward to meeting more and more people in the community every day. Something my friends know about me is my love for the Sea. I grew up fishing, in fact when I was old enough to walk my dad already had a fishing pole ready for me. It started out as just a fun thing to do (mostly for me I’m sure) with my dad after he got home from work, usually his second job of the day. He had his own lawn business he did on the side on evenings after his 9-5 and weekends as well. He worked a lot, but I remember him coming home with cut grass all over him and a filthy shirt, dead tired from working 10 or 11 hours already that day and it usually only took me or my little sister Morgan 3 or 4 times of asking the same question; I use the word question loosely, it was more of a demand that sounded more like “Take us fishing” with a few please, please,
pleases in there for good measure before he gave in. He really did create a monster in both of us by getting us addicted to fishing so young because this behavior continued until we moved away for college. These days we beg him to go fishing with us on

our boats. Fast forward to 2016 and I’m now 28 years old, a tournament winning fishing Captain (I won my first tournament at age 7) and a local fishing guide with the same love for fishing I’ve always had. My sister also
has her Captain’s license and yes…..she’s officially Captain Morgan now with a soon to be Masters Degree from FIU so I guess she’s got the brains of the family. Anyway, being that I’m a fishing guide I’d like to take some of my readers fishing with me to experience what my family and I love so much. So here’s what I’m going to do.
