Veterans Dance The Temple Twirlers Round and Square Dance club is proud to announce their Veterans Dance on Monday Nov.10. This dance will held at the Oak Grove Methodist Church, located at 2701 West Waters Ave. Tampa. The dance will begin at

7 p.m. for pre-rounds and 7:30 p.m. squares alt mainstream /plus and will end at 9:30 p.m. The Temple Twirlers club is over 34 years old. They have been putting on dances in Tampa almost every Monday night. The cost of the dance is $5 for non-members and $4 for
members. The caller is Art Springer, who is retiring from square dance calling after over 50 years of calling. This will be his last dance calling for the Temple Twirlers. The round dance cueing will be done by Charlie Lovelace, who is nationally known. This will be a great dance honoring all our veterans and Art Springer (a military retired veteran) at the same time. The Temple Twirlers also holds square dance classes on Thursday nights at the Lakeshore Villas in Tampa. Never the Same Store Twice! I am writing this and itching to go back, to see what new treasures I find and honestly, to beat you to it! Nah, just kidding, there are plenty of finds for all of us and the best thing is that the inventory at J & C Consign and Design is constantly changing. When I visited there was a beautiful living room set, a couple of bedroom sets that looked never used even though they were consigned from individuals, and some beautiful high-end furniture from elite furniture stores at greatly reduced prices. I spied an antique pine hutch and I find myself wondering if it is still there. Stop by or you’ll never know what treasures lie within J & C Consign and Design.
