Transforming Image - Keep The Love, Lose The Handles By Matt Selby

Skyler Pearson has always had a passion for helping others achieve their most beautiful body. Originally starting out in hair removal, Skyler soon found his calling in the world of body contouring. Transforming Image was born first in Arizona before expanding into the Tampa market just last year. Today, Skyler and his team of professionals are closing in on 20,000 treatments between Coolsculpting and V Shape Ultrasound technology! Transforming Image clients experience wonderful results and Skyler attributes that to what he calls a very good aesthetic eye. “Within just a few seconds into our consultation I visualize what their best results will look like. I then explain to them my suggested treatment, what results they can expect over a specific period of time, and why I believe they are best suited for Coolsculpting, V Shape, or a combination of both,” says Pearson.

them in an easy, non-intrusive fashion that exercise and diet can’t achieve as quickly and effectively. Keep the Love, Lose the Handles!

Coolsculpting:

It’s called stubborn fat for a reason! No matter how much you exercise or how healthy you eat, it can be impossible to lose those annoying muffin tops, love handles or the dreaded belly pooch. In the past, you’ve been left with two options; live with them or think surgery. Then came Coolsculpting! Coolsculting targets fat cells alone, eliminating

4 April 2018

The areas best suited for Coolsculpting include, love handles, belly rolls, inner and outer thighs, double chin, arm fat and bra area fat. Since it’s inception, Coolsculpting has absolutely changed the bodies of 10s of thousands of people just like you so the question is, are you ready to spend your day freezing your fat away!?

V Shape Ultra:

V Shape Ultra is the latest technology that

will not only contour your body but actually destroy and eliminate excess fat all without surgery! Ultra is the latest technology in nonsurgical lipolysis. The clinical benefits include the removal of fat non-invasivly, tightening of skin and improved body contour. Ultra is truly a real alternative to surgical procedures as it ensures effective and visible results that are lasting without the need for incisions and best of all, no scars! Other contouring devices utilizing red or green lasers only shrink the fat cells so therefore results are usually only temporary. V Shape destroys the fat cells just how Coolsculpting does without the cold. There is no pain with Ultra, and since the

treatment follows your body’s exact contour, the results are uniform over the entire treated areas versus other treatments on the market. With us being one of the first centers in Florida to offer this, we can pair it together with Coolsculpting and kill even more fat cells than any center offering only Coolsculpting. Utilizing both technologies we are talking about 50% to 60% more killed fat than anyone else! The Tampa Bay News & Lifestyles team had an opportunity to see what all the fuss was about last week and the consensus was that V Shape Ultra was completely painless during and after the treatment. Unlike Coolsculpting, the V Shape machine warms up as it kills fat cells but not enough to cause much, if any discomfort. There truly is no downtime after the treatment is completed. The only thing that’s necessary after the treatment is to drink a lot of water to help flush the toxins and fat cells that are being destroyed. It’s only been a week since the treatment and Skyler says we have 2 more to go, but our skin certainly feels tighter in our abdominal area already so it has our endorsement. Transforming Image wants to be known as your one-stop-shop for all your aesthetic needs. Safe, non-surgical, body contouring, fat reduction services utilizing Coolsculpting and V Shape Ultra are guaranteed technologies offered by Transforming Image with optional insurance. “Your Image is my business and that’s why I guarantee it!” Transforming Image also offers Micro Needling and Hydra Facials. “We look forward to working with you soon and can’t wait to give you the body you’ve only dreamed of. Oh yes, before I forget, If you’ve already done Coolsculpting with someone else and you aren’t completely satisfied, come see me for a FREE second opinion on what can be done better!” says Skyler.

“Take Me Out to the Ball Game” Written by Tom Bostock The iconic strains of that familiar song, “Take Me out to the Ballgame,” written by a 29- yearold-song writer, Jack Norworth, who had never attended a single baseball game when he wrote it in 1908, but drew his inspiration from a bill board advertisement, blares out of loud speakers and echoes across the stadium on this special day. Off-key, you join in the refrain, vainly chasing some semblance of the actual tune but nobody seems to care. Vendors of all ages, hawking overpriced hotdogs, cold drinks and beer, climb up and down the stadium seating rows like a swarming colony of ants, selling their wares and adding to the general controlled-chaos ambience.

Sitting in the outfield section, in an uncomfortable wooden seat, dressed in your too-big Little League uniform and cap, with your Dad in the adjacent seat, life is good. Holding your genuine

Spaulding outfielder’s baseball glove, pre-autographed by your favorite player, in front of you, you wait patiently for that errant fly ball that will be your trophy of a lifetime. That is, if the other kids in your row don’t get to it first. It’s no big deal if it starts to drizzle; if the players can handle it, you can too. It’s that special time, when all losses of the previous year are wiped clean, and an undefeated team strides out onto the field, bright with promise and anticipation. After the playing of the National Anthem, unblemished by needless kneeling and protest, the home team will take the field, and those magical words, indelibly etched forever in the minds and hearts of every living baseball fan will ring out. “Play Ball!” For baseball fans in the Tampa Bay area, that scenario took place at the Tropicana Stadium, when hundreds of supporting fans cheered for the Tampa Bay Rays, formerly known as the Devil Rays. Here are a few fun facts about professional baseball in Tampa/ St. Petersburg. Did you know

that the Rays were not the first professional baseball team to call the Tampa Bay their home? For a single season, the Senior Professional Baseball Association called St. Petersburg its home. The teams were made up of 35-year-old and older former major league players. According to ML.com, “the St. Pete Pelicans were their first and only league champions.” Do you know where the “King of Swat” hit what may have been his longest home run and one of the longest ever recorded? Yep. That’s right. In 1919 in a Spring Training game, Babe Ruth connected with an unbelievable, 587- foot blast against the New York Yankees at Plant Field. When today’s Rays took the field this year, it was a little different team from last year. Gone is the perennial slugger and all star third baseman, Evan Longoria. He and his 4.5 million-dollar contract are now San Francisco Giants, a move that didn’t make many fans very happy. He had been the team’s longest tenured player.

The team also expects to lose starting pitcher Alex Cobb to free agency while another free agent, Logan Morrison, is reportedly being courted by the New York Mets, according to Mets former General Manager, Jim Duquette in his predictions for his top 25 free agents. According to mlb.com, if the season started this week, you would probably see the following starting lineup for the Tampa Bay Rays: Centerfield – Kevin Kiermaier, Left field – Denard Span, Third Base – Matt Duffy, Designated Hitter – Corey Dickerson, Right Field – Steven Sousa Jr, First Base – Brad Miller, Second Base – Daniel Robertson, Catcher – Wilson Ramos, Short Stop – Adeiny Hechavarria. With equally skilled backups at most positions, this is a potentially potent line-up in anybody’s book. The pitching line-up is in equally good hands with starters, Archer, Snell, Faria, and Eovaldi. There is also a talented bull pen of both right and left handers to step in if any of the starters falter. Currently consisting of Jennings, Colome, Rome, Stanek, Kittredge,

Rose, Alvaredo, Hu, Hudson, and Andriese, there is also a wellstocked minor league system with strong, young arms just waiting for the chance to show what they can do in the big leagues. If there is a better game than baseball, I don’t know it. Nothing beats second guessing the umpires and reflecting on their dubious parentage when the call doesn’t go your team’s way. Suggesting that the umpire needs a tin cup, white-tipped cane and dark glasses has become a national past-time. What can beat sitting in your seat when it’s the bottom of the 9th with the score tied 2 to 2. There are two outs with bases loaded. Your team is up. The pitcher lets a fastball fly, a white blur, headed for the plate at lightning speed. In less than a blink of an eye, your batter lifts his right front leg while flexing the muscles in his arm holding the bat. Physics takes over! The bat, swinging at more than 95 miles an hour makes solid contact with the spinning ball moving at a similar rate of speed. The ball is

propelled off the bat at a speed of more than 100 miles an hour! You gasp and then hold your breath, hoping against hope for a baseclearing home run. The umpire yells, “foul ball,” as the ball flies harmlessly over the foul pole and out of the stadium. You die a little inside. “Strike one!” the umpire signals. “You need a guide dog,” you respond. Another pitch corkscrews its way to the plate and into the catcher mitt with a resounding thud. “Strike two.” The air is so thick that you could cut it with a knife. The pitcher winds up again and lets another fast ball go spinning towards the plate. It seems like the crack of the bat can be heard six counties away. The ball begins its inexorable arc toward the outfield fence and over it! The crowd erupts. You won! If you could bottle that feeling, you would be a millionaire! That is the thrill and mystique that is baseball. It’s time to make a memory. Get out there and support your very own Tampa Bay Rays this season!

Previous Suncoast Roofing Solutions Customer, Donovan M. says, “We were preparing to sell our home and needed a new roof; our realtor recommended Suncoast Roofing and we found some other roofers on our own. No comparisonSuncoast had a very competitive price, in fact they came in just a bit under their initial assessment. Our roof was in really good condition so we weren’t hit with any surprises; Doug did explain to us not only the best case scenario, but what the associated costs could be with a worst case scenario. That’s good to know in terms of budgeting. The work was done fast, the crew was courteous and neat, and the price was more than fair. Suncoast pulled all the permits and followed up with a final inspection with the city. Would I use them againabsolutely.” Tile Roof Experts Suncoast Roofing main area of expertise is installing and repairing tile roofs. Clay and concrete tiles are among the oldest roofing materials known to man. Modern roofing tiles are much more technologically advanced than their ancestors hundreds of years ago. With Suncoast Roofing you can choose from a vast selection of designs, colors, and highperformance finishes. Many small businesses in Tampa have tile roofing. Tile roofing looks great, lasts a long time, and in many areas the managing association code requires it. Although tile lasts a long time, it does require the same maintenance and repair that any other commercial building’s roof needs. When you choose a company who specializes in commercial tile repair, your roof will be repaired properly. Many Tampa homes also boast tile roofing, giving them a pleasing appearance and an extra luxurious look. When you build a high quality

tile roof, you’re investing in the long-term future of your property. Suncoast Roofing Solutions can help you achieve that dream. “We can even work within deedrestricted communities to build a luxury tile roof that is in full compliance with homeowner’s association rules and other regulations,” says Doug. “Our tile roof replacement company offers a deluxe installation and repair service. We walk you through every step of the process, from initial consultation to final site cleanup. We use the finest professional materials, including Eagle Tile, Entegra Tile, Owens Corning, Polyglass, Tamko and GAF. We stand by our materials and workmanship with a 100% guarantee. If a customer is ever unsatisfied, we’ll make it right!” Crystal Cabrera has this to say about her recent experience with Suncoast “I am a new home owner and new to the Tampa area so i called a ton of roofers to get an estimate on a small studio i have in my backyard. Half of the companies never called back or they wanted to charge me an arm and a leg. Doug sent someone over right away to check out the roof and gave me an estimate that was better then anyone else i contacted. We scheduled when the roof was going to be done

and on the days they were at my home they didn’t leave a mess or in the way. They did an amazing job and the roof looks beautiful. A week or so later i was cleaning the gutters on my main house and noticed i had a hole. I sent a Doug a message and he came right out to check on it, he had a guy out within the week to patch my roof. I had the best experience with Suncoast Roofing Solutions and i highly recommend them they are very professional and get the job done!! Thank you so much Doug and the Suncoast Roofing Team for doing such wonderful job!” Some benefits of having a tile roof include: • Tiles are environmentally friendly. They are made from natural materials and are fully recyclable at the end of their lifespan. • Natural tiles can last up to a hundred years when they are properly installed and cared for. • Tiles will not rot in moist climates, making them ideal for Central Florida and the Tampa Bay Area. • Clay and concrete roof tiles are highly energy efficient. They create a ventilated space within the
