These savory pockets are made using the finest and freshet ingredients, and they will fill your belly and warm your heart, I know they warmed mine as soon as I walked in. The owners were extremely thoughtful, attentive, considerate and went above and beyond to make my experience at Wheatfields an unforgetabble one. The owners, who are also the chefs and masterminds behind these delicious meat pies made me feel like part of their family as soon as I walked in, they greeted me with a big hug, a hot cup of freshly brewed coffee and a deliciously warm, flaky and filling savory pocket, stuffed with the most

Westchase - One of Tampa Bay’s Most Loved Communities By Michelle Naktin In the early 1980s Metro Development Corporation discussed the idea of creating a development with a mixture of residential, retail and office space. It included apartments, town houses, condominiums and a golf course which would potentially make this division the most densely populated area in Hillsborough County. On the morning of June 15, 1987, Hillsborough County approved the order for what is known today as the community of Westchase. Construction got underway in February of 1988 and shortly thereafter Westchase received the prestigious Herman Goldner Award recognizing that Metro Development Corporation had gone beyond county and state regulations regarding tree conservation (Westchase required builders to plant or preserve a certain number of trees based on lot size). A nationwide survey showed that natural space was one of the top things considered while shopping for homes in planned developments. Westchase preserved more than 550 acres for conservation areas, lakes and wetlands.

Another unique amenity within this community is the availability of natural gas in homes. This was particularly appealing to people moving from northern states where they were accustomed to cooking or drying clothes using natural gas.
