Mary Jo’s Performing Arts Academy (MJPAA) is celebrating 40 Years of Excellence! Though rooted in Tampa Bay, the impact that Mary Jo’s has had on its students and the creative community over the past four decades has reached far beyond the Academy’s home on Mapledale Boulevard. Nourished by the faculty and community fostered at MJPAA, alumni have turned their passions and talents into professional careers ranging from performing on Broadway, cruise ships, in theme
parks, on the sidelines of collegiate and NFL games and so much more. You can find Mary Jo’s lasting artistic legacy not only in alumni’s achievements since graduating from the Academy, but also in their desire to remain involved within the Academy, some returning as instructors, guest choreographers and staff members as adults.

MATT SELBY It’s not often I write the editorial. My Wife Carla is our Editor and does an amazing job engaging with our readers in all seven of our Tampa Bay News & Lifestyles editions peppered across Tampa Bay. It seems like everywhere we go, a reader recognizes her and compliments her on the job she’s doing. Her editorials tend to go deep. They resonate with the people of our community in ways I never imagined. Many of our readers even share a similar life story with Carla. I’m very thankful for her, and in the spirit of Thanksgiving, November’s most notable holiday, I wanted to use this space to talk a little about her. I don’t think very many of us actually spend Thanksgiving day giving thanks for the blessing of last years’ harvest like the holiday originally started out signifying. Although, if you’re like my Mom and have a live hydroponic garden growing in your house, you might. Anyway, back to Carla. We’re talking about a young woman who immigrated to this country with limited knowledge of the English Language at the age of 15. Many of you may share a similar background, and even if it wasn’t you personally who immigrated here, your
parents, or grandparents most likely did. Probably not knowing the English language too well.
design. This may be why she’s always right. I’ll be the first to tell you, she’s smarter than I’ll ever be, and I’m okay with that.
Carla grew up in Venezuela; a country once known for being the richest democracy in all of South America, now on the brink of collapse due to an economic crisis under a disastrous dictatorship. As a young girl she learned to speak Spanish, then Italian and finally English. I know what you’re thinking and you’re right; I can’t win an argument in three languages, lucky me!
Sometimes her “accent” comes through in her editorial pieces, and that’s by design. I don’t try and fix it. Her true voice comes out in so much of her writing, hitting our readers “right in the feels” as some would say. We receive countless E-mails from readers on a weekly basis and Carla loves to interact with everyone. They become fun penpals I guess you could say. Both Carla and I are very thankful for the constructive criticism and support we’ve received through the years. I can’t tell you enough how thankful we are for all of our readers. It’s because of your support we’re able to do what we love. Thank you for welcoming us into your homes each and every month and for supporting the great local businesses we feature. Carla truly enjoys keeping you up to date with what’s going on in the community. We really appreciate when you take the time to send us feedback and content as well. Keep a lookout for Carla’s next editorial in December! I know she will have something good for you!
To be honest, in almost 3 years we’ve hardly had a disagreement. I’ll admit, she is right most of the time. “Happy wife, happy life” and all that. I’m picking up the Spanish language slowly, but after 30 years of only hearing and speaking English in my household, it’s not easy. I have a newfound respect for everyone who came to this country and learned our native language at any age, but especially in adulthood. Carla didn’t just learn the English language. She earned an impressive education. She first graduated with her Bachelors from the University of Tampa, and later a Masters in Education with a concentration in Instructional Technology and a minor in web

TECH TALK With Bob The Computer Guy
Today’s Topic: STOP: Before Repairing Your PC By Bob Dalles Imagine this. The computer you bought from that big box store seven months ago no longer works. No problem, it’s still under warranty. You call the manufacturer and get a return authorization from them. You pack and ship your computer to them. Today, two months later, you are finally getting it back from the manufacturer and cannot wait to turn it on. You turn it on and it boots right up into the desktop. You notice that your desktop doesn’t look the same way you had it before you sent it for repair. Upon further investigation you realize that some programs are missing, you cannot access your printer, and most importantly, all your pictures, videos, music and other data is nowhere to be found. Your computer works, but your personal stuff is gone. You call the manufacturer to ask about your data. Suddenly you find out that the only obligation they had to you under the warranty is that they would repair or replace your computer to the way it was the day you brought it home from the store and took it out of the box. The manufacturer has no liability when it comes to your data. You learn the hard way that your missing programs, data, etc. are your problem. Many people find themselves in this predicament every day. Fortunately, you won’t. Computers are viewed by many as being no different as they see coffee makers or any other electronic appliance. Electronic coffee makers use hardware and some type of software to make them function. However, the software that runs your coffee maker is not as sophisticated as the software that runs your computer. People typically do not differentiate between the hardware and software aspects of a computer system. The truth is, where the software in your coffee maker never changes, the software in your computer is constantly changing. Especially your data files as you add and delete your music, pictures and other personal documents. All this information is stored on your computer’s hard disk
6 NOVEMBER 2018
drive (HDD). Your HDD stores all computer software information including your personal and unique computer information. This unique information is created over time as you use your computer system by adding programs, printers, data, etc. All these changes alter the contents of your HDD. When you send your computer to the manufacturer for repair, your HDD may be physically replaced by having a new HDD installed into your computer or logically replaced by having all the information on the HDD erased and then rewritten with the information the HDD had on it when your computer was new out of the box. Think of it this way. If you ever had the battery in your car replaced, the first thing you probably learned when you got back into your car is that all your radio preset stations have been wiped out due to the battery being disconnected. The auto repair shop’s responsibility is not to restore your radio presets but to replace your car’s battery with a working one. You’ll just have to reprogram those preset stations all over again. The same is true of your computer. Important information can be lost during
the repair. If it is your personal data, like rare photos, it may be impossible to replace. It is always your responsibility to make sure you have what you need to restore the programs and data you have added to your computer since you bought it. But no one ever tells you this until it is too late. So how do you minimize your data loss when you need your computer system repaired? The first thing you do is make certain that all your personal data is backed up. This can be difficult if your computer will not turn on. Even if your computer will not turn on, it may still be possible that
your data can be extracted from the HDD before you send your computer off for repair. If you are not familiar with how to get your data backed up, contact a professional computer technician for help. The next thing you will need are the installation disk and/ or files for any software you added to the computer after you bought it. Make sure you have all of your installation media and product keys so these items can be reinstalled with as little trouble as possible. A list of your email and website user names and passwords are also going to need to be reentered the first time you try to access any of the secured websites you visit. If you are not sure if you have everything you need to recover all of the additions you made to your computer since you bought it, contact a professional computer technician to help you get all your ducks in a row. An hour or two of prevention will save you a lot of money and grief when your time comes to get your computer repaired. Especially if you rely on your computer for managing your business or investments. Have a tech question? Email it to TechTalk-TBNL@ BobTheComputerGuy.NET. Questions will be selected by the popularity of a topic and answered in this column. If you have a more urgent need or have a unique situation you may schedule an appointment with one of my Professionally Certified Technicians by calling 727-534-4000. Until next time, stay safe on the internet!

“It’s Nice to Be Nice to Nice People” John Erb’s Auto, Truck and RV Service Center By Tom Bostock When John Erb borrowed the saying “it’s nice to be nice to nice people” to honor his late friend, Patrick Keenan, it became more than just a saying to him; it became his way of doing business at John Erb’s Auto, Truck and RV Service Center. A contradiction in terms, John says, “we care about people. I hate cars; I love people!” Located on what John calls his “campus” at 16133 N. Dale Mabry, just across the street from Gaither High School, John’s peoplecentered automotive service business consists of a 5700 square foot main building that is always bulging at the seams with loyal customers’ cars, trucks, vans and recreational vehicles. Another 3400 square foot oil change facility houses his “Oil Frog” oil change operation. It is located behind the main service center. It is normal to see a high-performance Mercedes E320 Bluetech, sitting in John’s crowded customer parking lot next to a Lincoln Navigator which, in turn, is parked by a Suzuki economy car, each waiting its turn for

expert service by one of John’s experienced, certified mechanics. John credits his staff for the continued success of his operations. He made special mention of 4 of his employees, Bill Casey,
Henry Strapp, Hector Corneil and Warren Boswell. John attributes a Craigslist ad for securing his chief mechanic, Bill Casey, about 12 years ago. Henry Strapp, the son of beloved former assistant principal of Gaither

High School, is his general manager. When I asked John if he was a “jack of all trades,” he corrected me saying that he was a “master of all trades.” John’s added that Assistant Manager Hector is his bi-lingual “super, duper, people person.” The 4th employee, Warren Boswell, is an especially interesting story. A service consultant for John for a little more than a year now, Warren is a former, medically-retired Tampa police officer who used to have his vehicle serviced by John’s company. Warren was especially complimentary of the work ethics at Erbs. He said that the reason that he went to work for John was both ”the honesty” and “family feeling” that he has experienced at John’s company. He stressed that they did the right thing and stood behind their work. If it has to do with an engine or mechanical repair, John’s staff as well as himself, also a certified master auto technician, are well equipped to handle the job, regardless of the size or complexity. John noted that Erb’s is becoming known as the diagnostic service destination for problem repairs. ”John says, “If you have a problem, I am the mechanic you need.” If it can be fixed, John and his 14 employees can fix it. That isn’t surprising, since John began helping his Dad at his service station, putting air in tires when he was still in elementary school; by the time he was 12, John was already changing automobile tires. At 21, he was a fully certified mechanic. Originally wanting to be either a doctor or a cop, John was 25 before he accepted his career path. From Plainview on Long Island, New York, John noted that coming to Florida was an eye-opening experience. He had heard about prejudice, but it wasn’t until his Dad’s Gulf gasoline service station on the corner of Kennedy and Dale Mabry in Tampa, opened with a men’s room, a lady’s room and a “black” restroom, that he experienced it, first hand. After remarking about how some people will always find something
to hate, John proudly announced, “this is a hate-free zone!” All of the products and services provided at John Erb’s Auto, Truck and RV Center are the highest quality, state-of-theart available. Although he is a Goodyear Tire distributor, he is still an independent dealer, able to provide his customers with any brand of tire that they want. “I can get Michelin’s if they want them,” John says. Preventative measures, like “chemical tune up,” and “interim brake service,” staples of John’s business, are the result of his mechanical foresight and desire to help his customers extend the life of their vehicles. The chemical tune up involves proactively cleaning both the car’s full injection and air intake systems before a problem arises. If properly flushed with Valvoline Synthetic Brake Fluid, there is even a 30,000-mile warranty. With brakes lasting longer than ever, their interim brake service program lubricates a car’s brake caliper’s pin, which, properly oiled, prevents premature brake failure. These are “the ounce of prevention that prevents the pound of cure” remedies that John’s staff employ to keep customer cars running for years to come. A father of 5 and grandfather of 13, John is a strong member of his local community, sponsoring this year’s championship Lutz softball team, “Toxic.” He has also sponsored adopt-a-school programs but is especially proud of his membership in the Owls Club, an organization, as John says, for “older, wiser, lively seniors in Northdale.” Besides being their resident automotive expert, he brings up to 80 pounds of delicious barbecued beef, pulled pork, succulent chicken and tasty coleslaw with its own special cilantro tang to some of their functions. If it clunks, bumps, or just needs an oil change, John Erb’s Auto, Truck and RV Service Center is the place to go. Call 813 908 3333 for your appointment today. 16133 North Dale Mabry … your car’s best friend.

Dentistry with a Woman’s Touch
By Deborah Bostock-Kelley
In Westchase Esthetic Family Dentistry, a practice owned and operated by women, it only makes sense that the typical clinical waiting room has been replaced with a warm, inviting entry with comfy chairs. You wait in a beautiful room painted in a soothing purple color palette, décor reminiscent of Morocco. It evokes the feeling of a spa, where you will spend a day being pampered behind the door. Although you are not going in for a massage, Dr. Juliet Bulnes-Newton, D.M.D. and Dr. Laura Goodwin, D.M.D. make a point of providing the best dental care for their patients and being a dental practice that you want to stay with for generations, treating you like family. Dr. Bulnes-Newton started practicing in Tampa Bay in 2001, serving specifically the Westchase, Citrus Park and Carrollwood area since 2002. “I love this community. I’m part of it. I live in Carrollwood myself. My children go to school in the community, so it’s been very nice to serve the community that I actually live in,” she said. She selected the location in Westchase because of the growth in the early 2000s, knowing there would be a lot of new families coming into the area.
14 NOVEMBER 2018
“It was part of Tampa that had a high level of growth, so I thought it would be a good area to start integrating my practice and I can be here until I retire.” Due to growth in the community, Dr. Bulnes-Newton wanted to bring on another expert in the field. “That person needed to supply the same quality of care and have the same philosophies caring for our community, but also offer some additional expertise and specialties that we could provide for our patients.”
Dr. Goodwin joined the practice in 2016, bringing with her extensive training and expertise in restorative dentistry including crowns, bridges, veneers and, dentures. She also provides services such as extractions, bone grafting and placement of dental implants, for which she has earned her ICOI Fellowship (International Congress of Oral Implantologists). “Although we have the latest technology available, state-of-the-art equipment, that’s not what separates us from the competition. We are an office of all women. We are very family-oriented.

We provide a level of compassion and empathy to offer dental work with the utmost dignity to our patients. We pride ourselves on providing the most up-to-date, high-tech top-quality dentistry in a very gentle, relaxing environment.” Serving men, women, and children, their youngest patient is 2 and the eldest, 99.“We love seeing the kids. They are so much fun to educate and provide them with a positive experience where they can feel comfortable and establish that relationship with a dentist very early in life,” said Dr. Bulnes-Newton. “It’s fun to see them to grow up from little kid to college student. We believe that patients deserve the best care they can have regardless of age.” Dr. Goodwin added, “If they are coming to the dentist at 99, there is a reason that they are still alive. Dental health is linked to quality of life and your overall health.” Dental services include oral exams, routine cleanings, veneers, bonding, Invisalign, teeth whitening, and Dr. Goodwin’s restorative services. “I get to see my patients go through life changes and you feel like you are there for them. You get to be an open ear for them. I am fortunate that I get to talk and interact with people all day instead of sitting in front of a computer,” said Dr. Goodwin.
“We just love being with our patients, catching up with them and discovering what’s going on in their lives. It’s really like a family,” said Dr. Bulnes-Newton. “Whether they’ve been with us for years or are a new patient, we want our patients to feel like family the minute they walk in. We’re not your typical dentist’s office. We come in early or stay late to accommodate our patients. We understand they have lives too.” To visit Westchase Esthetic Family Dentistry before your 2018 insurance benefits expire and to learn more about the practice, visit westchasedentists.com or call 813-792-8211. Westchase Esthetic Family Dentistry is located at 10131 Wilsky Blvd., Tampa. Hours of operation are Monday and Tuesday 8am-6pm, Wednesday 8am-7pm, Thursday 8am5pm, and Friday by appointment only.
Both dentists agreed that their staff was another reason the practice was so successful. Long-term, loyal employees that believe in the same philosophy of integrity make the workplace “their second home” - a pleasure to be part of each day. The practice volunteers with Hillsborough Community College’s dental assistant program where the students learn how to become dental assistants during their rotation. “There’s maybe a dozen offices that participate in Hillsborough County that the students rotate through. The students come in and learn from us,” Dr. Bulnes-Newton explained. “That’s where we discovered a unicorn in our dental assistant Brittany Rocamora.” In addition to standard dental services, the practice also offers safe mercury removal, a holistic approach to dentistry, and dental sleep medicine services, a treatment for patients who cannot use CPAP. Elective procedures like facial rejuvenation services like Botox, Dermal Fillers, Red Light Therapy, a noninvasive face lift, and the Obagi Medical Skincare line are also available. The dentists and their staff never hesitate to volunteer. From sponsoring patient’s school and college events, golf tournaments, fundraising for dog rescue K9 Estates, collecting for Metropolitan Ministries to annual outreach in the community to provide free dental services to indigent patients, these ladies care about making a positive difference.

Salvation Army Lane, Tampa, FL 33613 (located northwest of Nebraska Ave./Fletcher Ave. intersection, directly east of I-275 Highway) How: Constructing residence for women to heal from their substance dependencies Why: In Tampa Bay Area, there is great demand from women who want to participate in a long-term, 12-step, faith-based, residential rehabilitation program. Now, with the construction of a separate residence, the center will be able to also offer its 12-step, faith-based, long-term rehabilitation program to women. The residence will contain ten bedrooms; each bedroom houses three women. The facility will include an intake office, library/two classrooms, offices/conference room, kitchen, dining room, great room, recreation room, fitness room, laundry/hair cutting station, and two resident managers’ rooms. The center will also have a new chapel, seating 250 persons for both the men and women beneficiaries, their families and friends, and the public. “At the end of this year, the ARC will be able to help women in their own safe environment. and women overcome substance afflictions without discrimination for more than 100 years. It is one of the largest providers of residential drug and alcohol programs in the United States. The ARC provides spiritual, social and emotional assistance for both 30 women and 163 men who have lost the ability to cope and provide for themselves. The center offers residential housing, work, classes, and group and individual therapy, all in a clean, wholesome environment. The physical and spiritual care that program participants receive prepares them to re-enter society and return to gainful employment. Many are reunited with
their families and resume a normal life. The ARC is funded through the donations of unwanted but useable items (e.g., clothes, furniture and automobiles) so program participants do not have any out-of-pocket costs while they stay for up to one full year. By not having financial burdens, they have the privilege to devote all their time and energy to repairing their lives. To support this vital community service, please schedule a free truck pickup of your tax-deductible donations. Call 1-800-SA-TRUCK (1-800-728-7825) or visit SATRUCK.ORG.

More Space Place Continued from page 1... More Space Place has attractive, affordable and functional solutions that will help you get organized and create more space within your home without the hassle of a home re-model, a costly addition or an outside storage unit. More Space Place’s array of products include custom closets, home office furniture and organizational systems, Murphy wall beds, garage systems and kitchen organization solutions. Starting off as a single retail location in the early 1980’s, More Space Place has grown to become a nationally recognized and trusted company that continues to expand due to their high level of attentive customer service and quality organizational products. Today, the company has over 28 nationwide stores that are locally owned and operated by community members. Clark Williams and Bob Schmidt are the owners of the three Tampa Bay area showrooms and Design Centers, located in Palm Harbor on US 19 N., St Petersburg on Gandy Blvd. and Lutz on State Rd. 54. “We have seen some very innovative designs created when a client comes in with an idea and our designers work with them to make it a reality,” says Williams. “It makes the business both fun and exciting.” Williams recalls that 20 years ago there were very limited choices of furniture and closet solutions and very few options for finishes and materials. “More Space Place now proudly offers the largest selection of wall bed styles available, and in addition, a massive line of complimenting space saving and organizational furniture. In addition, we are one of the only companies offering the ‘Invisa-line’ boring system. This new technology makes the adjustment holes in the furniture for shelf adjustment almost 60%

smaller than what others offer,” says Williams.
Murphy Beds Can Make Dual Purpose Rooms As America’s #1 Murphy bed retailer, the professional designers at More Space Place can assist you in transforming a spare room or office into a comfortable guest room with a fantastic, durable and high quality wall bed. Today’s wall beds provide the same comfort as standard beds and also have the choices of firm to extra plush mattresses. “We recently purchased a new model home and we wanted to designate one room as a guest bedroom/office. My husband recommended a Murphy bed to save on space. I must admit I was dead-set against it relying solely on my very dated recollection of no style, no comfort and something my parents would have considered,” says recent customer Karen Q. “Luckily for me, my husband, A.K.A ‘Mr. Research,’ did all the legwork and visited one of the More Space Place showrooms. Quality, style, comfort and option-upon-option are the orders of the day and I am happy to admit I was dead wrong. The people at More Space Place went beyond in customer service, suggestions and execution. Their installers were amazing and we are 100% satisfied. The guest room/office looks spectacular and I get compliments on it on a regular basis!” I must say, after reading so many incredible reviews and seeing their showroom, I am personally considering adding one of these Murphy beds to my own small home office, because of those “unexpected visitors” that end up crashing on my brand new, light colored couches. I will definitely keep you updated on my own Murphy bed in a follow up story.
Custom Closet Systems Cut Through the Clutter Do not just daydream
about your ideal closet! The local experts at More Space Place can build it for you. Their closet makeovers can consist of wall-hung closet systems, floorbased closet systems, or even a combination of both. Custom closet systems from More Space Place are designed with your wardrobe in mind, so you will not continue to waste another minute frantically searching for your favorite shoes, shirts, or belt, just to fail. Your
new closet would be organized to make room for all the clothes and accessories you already have, with ample space for the new must-haves. More Space Place professional designers will help you create your design in your finish choice to make a one-of-akind highly functional closet to fit your needs. One that will save you time and money. Recent and very happy client, Nicole B. says, “Thank you More Space Place for my custom

closets. I walked in just to see what the whole process would be like and everything went so smooth. I wanted someone to be able to look at my closets with all my stuff and tell me what I would need. That is exactly what More Space Place did AND had some other helpful ideas. In the process, they came out to my house, measured and then sent me a digital proof for approval. After I gave the ok, a few days later was the install. A professional installer came out to do the job. He did a great job. He took out the old clothes racks and patched the holes. In addition, he was very considerate of my home; he laid down blankets to protect my floors. I could not be happier with this whole experience and would recommend More Space Place to everyone! In the end, I also received two follow up calls to make sure everything was in order. Now THAT’S customer service.”
FREE IN-HOME DESIGN CONSULTATIONS More Space Place offers complimentary in-home design consultations as well as three spectacular showrooms where clients can go check out the vast options of style and finishes and see the quality of their products. “When someone visits one of our three Showroom Design Centers, they’ll find trained and experienced professionals who will introduce them to a full array of wall beds and cabinet options,” says Williams. “They will also find complete furniture collections for beautifully functional offices, media rooms, closets, garages, pantries, laundry rooms and so much more.” Selecting furniture is a very important decision, and one that requires time, energy and a lot of “touching,” yes… touching. I have personally bought a few pieces of furniture online after reading great reviews from other clients, only to be completely disappointed after receiving my product, because the quality of the materials was not what I was expecting. Having the opportunity to go into a store, to see the quality and TOUCH and FEEL what you are looking for cannot be beat. Williams says, “We believe that if people have the opportunity to see all the various options, they get a better understanding that this can be an incredible creative experience instead of just hanging some rods and shelves. This process also makes the purchasing decision easier. Since there are so many colors, finishes and materials available, seeing these in person also ensures they’ll find the best combination of styles and finishes to match the aesthetics of their home and lifestyle.” The More Space Place creative experience is further enhanced with a three dimensional software program that allows clients to see how various furniture designs would look in their home. No more having to imagine how it would all look like once put together! Thanks to this incredible technology you can actually see how it would all fit in your space and if it matches what you had in mind. “We have found with this visual aid it is much easier for our clients and the designer to work together in order to create the perfect design that is specifically created to meet the needs and desires of the client,” says Williams. More Space Place has three convenient showrooms in the Tampa Bay area. Palm Harbor, US 19 N just north of Tampa Road (727.773.9888), and St. Petersburg on Gandy just west of the Gandy Bridge (727.507.9799) and in Lutz a few miles west of I-75 on State Road 54 (813.935.8432). Hours for all locations are Mon. – Fri., 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Sat. 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., with additional hours available by appointment. They are closed on Sundays. Why would folks go anywhere else?!” “Essentials Massage & Facial Spa of Carrollwood never disappoints,” says frequent customer Marcia P. “This place is pristine, they provide THE BEST massages and facials, along with lots of smiles and great customer service. Oh, and the price is PERFECT for my wallet. I highly recommend it!” Known as the ‘Home of Affordable Luxury,’ Essentials of Carrollwood’s primary goal is to provide an exceptional spa experience with excellent value so you can make regular visits and incorporate multiple services and treatments as a part of your self-care routine. “Oh my goodness… I brought my husband with me here to have a couple’s massage. He’s a ‘manly man’ and truck driver, so it took some convincing on my part. Once he got on the table, he fell asleep and woke up with a big smile on his face. It is the best place for a couple’s massage!” says recent customer Anita. “I feel

super relaxed, and my husband is still smiling! Thank you Essentials! I am coming back soon. You have won a customer life, maybe two! The husband will definitely come back as well!” At Essentials of Carrollwood, all therapists and estheticians are licensed, experienced and genuinely committed to the highest level of customer satisfaction. “Our therapists and estheticians are second to none, very experienced and caring. Many of our massage therapists bring broad skill sets that enhance their understanding and abilities of the human body, such as medical backgrounds; and cross-modality training, such as yoga and several have been with us from the beginning,” says Candi. “Lana, our head esthetician, brings her training and experience as a trauma room nurse in Russia to her esthetic work and is a consummate professional. That medical expertise brings a complete understanding of her work. Our guests get the benefit of that experience because she truly understands the skin and the body on a different level. Whether you’re getting a European, Acne or Anti-aging facial, Microdermabrasion, Dermaplaning or Microneedling, you can be sure you are getting the best care and recommendations.”
Benefits of Massage From easing muscle soreness after exercise to reducing stress, dozens of studies—stretching back several decades—have linked massage to real physical and psychological benefits. A recent study found that a 10-minute muscle massage after a workout could reduce soreness by 30%. A separate review study on massage found that levels of the stress hormone cortisol dropped 31% following a rubdown, while levels of feel-good hormones like dopamine and serotonin increased over 35%. Incorporating regular massages into your lifestyle can definitely improve your well being, so why not give it a try? If you’re worried about the

high costs, don’t. At Essentials of Carrollwood, they provide excellent massage services at the most affordable rates offered in the market today, allowing you to experience the benefit of massage at Essentials on a more frequent basis. “My massage therapist was wonderful and kept just the right amount of pressure throughout the massage.
