Gasparilla fun spilled over to the halls of St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital on Monday, January 30th, when local pirate krewes – beads in hand – teamed up with young patients to invade the hallways! Members from seven different pirate krewes teamed up with the young patients at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital to create their own Gasparilla parade. Dressed as pirates and riding atop their parade floats – hospital stretchers

and wheelchairs transformed into pirate-worthy vessels – the young pirate patients threw beads and other trinkets to hospital staff and visitors along a special parade route. Various departments and hospital staff helped to decorate the “floats” that safely sailed the happy pirates. Events like this showcase the community support that makes Tampa Bay such a great place to live, work, and play! Tampa Bay News & Lifestyles sends a big “Great Job Guys!” shout

out to the hospital staff at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital and to the local pirate krewes that participated: • Krewe of Augustina • Krewe of Charlotte de Berry • Krewe of Grace O’Malley • Krewe of Hillsborough • Krewe of Rumrunners • Krewe of Zingaro • Krewe of Lords and Ladies Thank you for bringing the fun of Tampa Bay’s Gasparilla festivities to these young patients.

Jenny Molloy, ARNP, made my wish come true! With my 50th birthday coming this month and my daughter’s wedding in March (and all the photos that go along with that!), my wish was to look a little younger, and a lot less angry! I am a brow furrower! I will feel happy and people will ask what’s wrong. So I went to see Jenny at 3 Wishes Aesthetics, located at The Body Bar in Westchase. Jenny Molloy’s facial rejuvenation skills and artistry brilliantly help erase signs of aging. With the magic of Botox, which Jenny calls a “home run,” she was able to lift my brows and calm my unintended scowl! I kept quiet, and my daugher said, “Wow, your skin looks great mom. What

drastic, just a happier, more relaxed look! We also talked about restylane, and with Jenny’s expertise, I fully expect to look even younger by that March wedding. I have talked to several clients of 3 Wishes Aesthetics, and all agree they love their results! They are approved members of the National Ethics Association and the National Association of Tax Professionals. Edward G. Rizzotto, Owner and President, is an Insurance Agent and Financial Representative who holds both a state-regulated license to offer insurance products and a securities license to offer specific investment products. Meet the Rizzotto Team Ed Rizzotto, Owner/President, moved to Florida 45 years ago from New York, grew up in Pinellas County and has been a Trinity resident since 2000. A graduate of Clearwater Central Catholic High School, he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from National-Louis University in Evanston, IL. Ed also served both active and reserve duty for 13 years in the U.S. Coast Guard. He started his Insurance and Financial career over 20 years ago as an agent for Allstate Insurance. Then promoted to Agency Manager, he was responsible for overseeing 22 agencies in southwest Florida. In 1999, he joined a local retirement planning firm, where he helped hundreds of people with tax

10

and retirement planning for over six years. Ed Rizzotto enjoyed the opportunity to benefit the community, and was determined to create a complete local business where he could help clients (both pre-retirees and current retirees) save money on their taxes, better manage their portfolios, plan for the future and focus more on enjoying their retirement years – and The Rizzotto Tax Advisory Group was established in 2006. Lorrie Rizzotto joined the firm in 2009 as Director of Marketing. Prior to joining Ed in running their family business, Lorrie specialized in corporate incentive and meeting planning, and worked at Allstate’s Regional Florida office for 11 years before becoming an Independent Meeting Planner with HelmsBriscoe, where she achieved “President’s Club” status being Top 50 in the country. Married 28 years this November, Lorrie and Ed have two daughters attending the University of South Florida. Ed and Lorrie have a great team at Rizzotto Tax Advisory Group. Dori Greeson, Administrative Assistant and Office Manager, gives everyone a warm reception, oversees the office, and also is a licensed Life and Health Agent. Nayda Stern, IRS Enrolled Agent, has more than 22 years of income tax preparation experience and as an IRS Enrolled Agent, is able to represent Rizzotto Tax Advisory Group clients before the IRS. Alton Scott, Insurance Consultant, with more than 17 years of experience in the Banking, Insurance and Financial Services industry, has extensive knowledge in the areas of health insurance, Medicare supplements and Medicare. Scott holds a state-regulated Life and Health License and a Securities license to provide certain investment products. With 30 years of experience, Ennis Griffith, IRS Enrolled Agent, has unlimited privileges to represent taxpayers before the IRS. Griffith is the former long time chief financial officer of a publicly owned, 16-office savings bank. Former Marine Sigmund Mytyk, is an IRS Enrolled Agent, and has 20 years of experience as a tax preparer and 11 years as an IRS Enrolled Agent. Ed Rizzotto, owner, Rizzotto Tax Advisory Group ice experience, as well as experience in the banking business. Nic also has his 4-40 license, which allows him to represent Ed in offering Property and Casualty Insurance. Ed and Nic will work as a team to offer Auto and Homeowner's insurance to all clients. He has come on board this year to assist Ed and gain knowledge and experience to begin a career as a Financial Planner. Reducing Tax Liability in Retirement The first thing Ed and his team will want to look at is your past tax returns, explaining, “We’ve had people who had other advisors and financial planners who convinced them to make changes, not aware of the tax impacts. To me, the tax return is the most important document the client owns, that’s why it is the first thing we look at when the client meets us for their initial appointment. If there is an investment or change that could cause a taxable event, we know that up front.” Ed and his team are very tuned in to their clients’ needs and concerns. “Saving on taxes, reducing or eliminating taxation on social security and protecting the financial wellbeing of a spouse after another’s death – those are things that my clients are concerned about,” explains Ed. “Today, people also want alternatives to the low interest rate environment provided by CDs and money market accounts.” He adds, “If clients are already collecting social security when they come to us, they want to know how they can reduce or eliminate taxes FEBRUARY 2017

on not only social security income, but their overall taxes as well. A major concern today and what I believe will be a concern for years to come for preretirees and current retirees is how to obtain ‘Guaranteed Income for Life’ from your retirement and non-retirement plans. Unfortunately many employer sponsored plans and individual IRAs do not offer this benefit when you retire. We will show you how to put some things in place now that will enable you to set up lifetime income down the road. This is income you will never outlive, similar to a pension. We spend many hours with our clients to put sound plans in place by sharing ‘real time’ tax, income and social security analysis through some of the most sophisticated software. We want our clients to leave our office with a better understanding on what their income needs will be in retirement, and how to control, reduce or possibly eliminate taxes.” Rizzotto Tax Advisory Group takes a team-oriented approach to tax, retirement and estate planning and Mr. Rizzotto welcomes discussions from clients’ estate planning attorneys. If you do not already have an attorney, Mr. Rizzotto often refers clients to estate planning attorneys Stephen E. Hitchcock and Martha V. Evans from Hitchcock Law Group, who frequently meet with clients in the office to review Wills and Trusts. “They can help you make sure your plan is up to date and our staff will make sure your accounts and beneficiary designations coordinate with your estate plan.” Tampa Bay News & Lifestyles

While taxes are a large part of The Rizzotto Tax Advisory Group, the majority of their clients also utilize the firm’s other services including investments, retirement planning, long term care, annuities, life insurance, auto and homeowners insurance, wills and trusts and small business bookkeeping services. Ed says, “Clients like the opportunity we provide to get everything taken care of in one place.” A word of advice, “You’re never too young to start saving for retirement,” says Rizzotto. “We have found that many people we meet who are still working have changed jobs about every five to seven years, and many of those people left their retirement plans at their old employers (i.e. 401k, 403b, 457 and TSP plans, etc). Many of these plans can be rolled over to individual IRAs or Roth IRAs, thus giving the client more control and the ability to have

Love Your Floppies! Flip Flops that Bring Joy to Your Feet and Toys to Kids at All Children’s Hospital

The designer of “Floppies” is a little girl with a big heart! Michelina, a 10-year-old fourth grade student at Trinity Elementary, is the creative young entrepreneur who isn’t looking for a personal profit. Rather, Michelina designs adorable Flip Flops called Floppies, which are sold to raise money to buy TOYS for kids at All Children's Hospital (ACH) in St. Petersburg. Michelina was a patient of

Michelina wanted to give back to kids that may be in the same situation that she was in, where they are scared and nervous. She created her very own style of Flip Flops and 100% of the proceeds goes towards new toys for children staying at All

Her teachers at Trinity Elementary have been very supportive and helped her to spread the word too, and soon Michelina’s kindness began to catch notice. She was invited to speak about her Floppies and her good deeds on ABC Action News, Fox 13 and WFLA’s Daytime Show. In just six months, Michelina raised $1,000! One hundred percent was used to purchase toys, enabling

Michelina to buy toys from the hospital wish list and deliver them just in time for the holidays! Michelina is more excited than ever to continue to give back and says, “Kids helping kids is AWESOME!” Now she has an even bigger goal! If you’d like to help, you can visit the Floppies Facebook page, facebook.com/lovefloppies or email lovefloppies@yahoo.com (monetary donations or new toys appreciated). It is a very supportive environment here.” At 5,000 square feet, Anytime Fitness Keystone in Odessa has ample space for state-of-the-art treadmills, elliptical, and rowing machines plus plenty of free weights and top-of-theline weight machines, but it is not so big that you get lost in a maze of machines like you can at some big box gyms. In fact, James has made sure that the machines and weights at Anytime Fitness Keystone are laid out to make your work out easy to plan with one section devoted to upper body exercises, one to lower body, and a specific free weight area. “We have top of the line Life Fitness machines and Hammer Strength equipment,” says James. “You can feel the difference. “Cleaning” Continued from page 1 things about Donna and her company. She is completely dedicated to making sure her clients’ needs are met and as her company has grown, Donna has put key people in place to make sure that every detail is attended to. Her right hand, Office Manager Maria Santilli, was “sent by God” according to Donna. Maria truly appreciates Donna as well, and considers her a mentor. Donna brought on Assistant Office Manager Jerry Brennan and says, “She fits right in with us!” And Steve Insolia, who is in charge of quality control, she says, “He has been a great asset to the company!” As her business continues to grow, she is able to support even more families through year-round, reliable employment, while meeting the needs of a still growing customer base. She says, “It is a great feeling to know that I provide a full time, secure job for 30 people.” Attentive to the details of her company, Donna gives kudos to other likeminded business owners. “We live in a country with a lot of small businesses and I salute all the other small businesses that are doing things

the right way: Protecting themselves, their employees, and their customers by having the proper insurance.” Donna’s hard work has translated into a growing business that now employs nearly 30 people and has a fleet of cars to better service the clients of Donna’s Cleaning Angels. The company is licensed and insured, the employees screened and trained, and Donna’s Cleaning Angels’ teams are held accountable for the job they provide, because the office is in communication with the homeowners and business owners they service, making sure that every cleaning provided is beyond satisfactory. Dave Dixon, one of Donna's Cleaning Angels' happy customers

Professionalism, Start to Finish From the first moment that new customers talk on the phone to Maria, they realize this is a professional company. Knowledgeable and personable, Maria is ready to answer any questions about Donna’s Cleaning Angels, including availability and the complete list of services the company provides, which are extensive and basically cover any type of cleaning need you have, from weekly cleaning to upholstery and rug cleaning, and much more. before the sun is up, making certain that the Cleaning Angels have everything they need to provide an excellent cleaning to every customer, every time. The teams are in uniforms with the Donna’s Cleaning Angels logo and wearing close-toed, non-slip shoes, which Donna says is a requirement to meet OSHA standards of safety and one that not all cleaning companies adhere to. Donna’s Cleaning Angels are provided with a large canvas kit containing the high quality cleaning products for every job. What’s more,

every employee that Donna hires is background checked, drug free and covered by workman’s compensation. This is part of the reason why Donna’s Cleaning Angels is the first choice of so many people in our area. Every tool and cleaning product – from the professional grade vacuums to the lint-free cleaning rags) – are carefully chosen by Donna, who has provided only the best to her clients and her employees since she first started her business nearly 26 years ago. A businesswoman from a long line of hardworking entrepreneurs, Donna is

very proud of her work ethic, which she credits to the way she was raised. Dedication, hard work, and accountability are second nature to Donna. She grew up in Gorham, New Hampshire, and shares, “I am extremely proud and emotional that this year is the 70th Anniversary of my family’s restaurant in Gorham.” True to her family’s hardworking legacy, Donna is steadfast in her dedication to her business, her employees, and her clients. “I can’t believe nearly 26 years have gone by,” says Donna. “This took a lot of dedication…tremendous dedication.” She adds, “I’ve seen a lot of cleaning services come and go, but we are here for the long term. Now we are bigger and better than ever and are the number one cleaning service in Tampa Bay. I am so excited I still have a lot of the same customers for over 20 years!” Maria says, “Customers love how much time Donna takes to meet, greet and explain everything we have to offer them in person. We are branching out more into commercial cleaning. Such as, doctors’ and real estate offices, insurances agencies and other small businesses.” Potential new customers are provided with a free, in-home estimate, and a folder that contains: Certificates of Liability Insurance for everyone affiliated with Donna’s

Cleaning Angels, a copy of the Pasco County business license, written referrals from customers, and informational sheets about Donna’s Cleaning Angels, its history, ownership, and information about the Refer-AFriend program. Residential and commercial clients alike appreciate that Donna’s Cleaning Angels is completely professional about providing such a personal service. Donna says, “Next to your doctor, there’s nothing more personal than your cleaning service, which is why we take so many steps to protect you and make you feel at ease with our service. My customers don’t have to worry because I’ve done the homework and I carry the liability.” Donna values the relationships with her employees, adding, “I really appreciate my hardworking girls. They take care of our customers with much pride. Our customers love our back-tobasics, old-fashioned cleaning techniques, which often remind them of how their grandmothers used to clean.” The teams are trained to clean Donna’s way – the right way! “Some employees have come here that previously worked for other cleaning services, and they are amazed at our training procedures, stating that their previous employers made them watch a

video and then sent them off the very next day to clean, unsupervised. Our Angels have on-the-job training for over a month, with a field manager, before they are considered a ‘true cleaning angel.’ It takes time and effort to make sure an employee is 100 percent up to our cleaning standards. Detailed cleaning is what we are known for. Not just a run-through, wipe-down.” To ensure that every client is happy after each cleaning, Donna offers comment cards, regularly checks in with her clients, and has regular meetings with her staff. The Donna’s Cleaning Angels’ logo-wrapped cars and trucks can often be seen around the neighborhoods of West Pasco, Eastern Hillsborough and North Pinellas Counties, and this hasn’t missed the notice of two of the most important people in Donna’s life. “I’ve been told by family and friends that I don’t give myself enough credit,” shares Donna. “A few weeks ago when my young grandsons came to visit, one said, ‘Grammy you are famous! We see your cars and advertisements all over the place!’ At that moment, I realized how fortunate I am. I told them it takes hard work, determination and strength! I am not a franchise, nor did I have the backing of another company; I did this on my

own. It makes me happy to know that this is a legacy that I can now leave my grandchildren.” Donna adds, “At the end of the day I thank God for my blessings – the great people who work for me, a great business, my health, my home, my loved ones and my family. God bless you all and God bless America.” Schedule a free consultation with Donna’s Cleaning Angels at 727-942-8289, and be sure to ask about the Refer-A-Friend program that can earn you a free cleaning. Gift certificates are available and make a perfect gift this holiday season!
