Our Peculiar Neighbour Two doors further down our house lives Rosina, a very peculiar neighbour. I am scared of Rosina because you never know what she’s up to! She looks eccentric, behaves in a weird way and lives in a strange house. Rosina is about sixty years of age but she tries to look younger. Rosina is rather short and plump. The weirdest thing she has is her hair which changes colour every month. She has a wonderful blue eyes but she gazes to passengers by. She has a tiny black spot on her lips which disgusts me. You will always see Rosina in her baggy black trousers, a ragged, black shirt, black trainers and dirty apron. Her house is an old, small and storey town house. The facade of her house is painted bright orange colour. Behind the window panes are covered with brown paper. Rosina is a widow and she doesn’t have any children. She spends all the day on her own. In spite of living on her own she takes care of twenty cats running around the house.
Early in the morning she takes out her green chair in front of her door, and reads a children’s comic book. Every now and then she throws a bucket full of water over any car parked in front of her house. My mother is always cross with her because she normally showers our. She never smiles at you even when you smile to her. Sometimes she puts a leash around one of her cat’s neck and Rosina takes her for a walk just like a dog!!!
I don’t really like Rosina’s attitude with other people. Mum is always grumbling about her. Although she’s a peculiar lady sometimes I trust her because a person like that should have someone who looks after her. Maybe one day she will decide to go to an old people’s home. An unusual pet I love animals especially the ones that are small because the wild and big ones I’m afraid of them. In spite of this my current pet is particular, it’s a baby tiger. My family gave it to me on my birthday, my dad‘s friend has a tiger and it had cubs and so we decided to buy prior buying the cab, I searched some information on the internet. I also asked my parents to help me feed the cab. It is about twenty-five centimeters. It’s colors are black and white stripes. The cub has very soft fur but it’s teeth are very pointed and sharp at times I take it to the vet .The cub eat slices of red meat and it drinks milk. It spends the day playing with it’s toys , eating and sleeping. Sometimes it comes playing in the house and sometimes the cub enjoys playing in the garden. This animal is not dangerous because it is still young. This animal doesn’t hibernate in any season. When I finish my homework I go in the garden and I play hide and seek with. The baby tiger’s favorite treats is yogurt that is because it is made of milk. Sometimes the neighbors come to complain about the cab because it jumps over the fence and eat the grass. When I had a birthday party , I invited my friends to come and see the cab. It happens that, it doesn’t grow up it still stays small. It shows this by licking my hand ,by smiling with his little mouth and rolling on the floor . In the future I will still keep this pet.
An unusual pet I have a lot of pets at home but the last animal I got was a pretty unusual one, it was a baby tiger. I chose this particular pet because I wanted something unusual. I bought it from a pet shop in Africa when I was on a holiday with my family. It’s size is less than 50cm. it has orange and a little black fur. It’s teeth are sharp and pointed. The baby tiger drinks milk and when it grows up she will eat loads of meat. I’ve bought her a big basket to sleep in. It spends the day playing around the garden or running in the house. My baby tiger is not dangerous because when we bought it, it was only 1 week old. The best thing is that it doesn’t hibernate in the winter. I usually play with it in the afternoon or mostly during the summer holidays. It’s treat is red meat. My pet is well behaved so my neighbour doesn’t complain about it. My friend Shanay has a pet just like it so when she comes to my house she brings her baby tiger over and they can spend their time playing while we talk . When my tiger grows up surely keep her at my home but I will build her her own room. My pet shows that it is happy by roaring softly. I like to hear her roar because I know that she is happy.
