School: For or Against All of us know that school is the place where children get their education. In Malta and other countries, there have been a lot of arguments about how beneficial schools actually are and this is why I am writing this essay. My aim is to present you with all the arguments for and against school.
I think school is important because children need education for when they get older. School is also important because it is through this institution that our children learn how to behave and be responsible. I am in favor of school because every time our children learn they are closer to becoming successful.
On the other hand I am against school because our children have too much homework. I am against having children not understanding homework explanations. Also I believe it is not healthy that because of school our children have to get up early especially since they have to stay late because of excessive homework.

X’ nista’ nagħmel biex nieħu ħsieb lAmbjent
Kulħadd jitkellem fuq l-ambjent: inkabbru s-siġar, il-fjuri, inżommu lindafa,innaqsu liskart....Dejjem inġibu nies importati fuq it televixin, daqqa jħawwlu xi siġra u daqqa jgħidux’qed jagħmlu favur ambjent aħjar. Imma għidli int dan kollu x’jiswa jekk aħna nibqgħu narmu l-pakketti tal- ħelu fejn ġie ġie? Għandna l-laned apposta biex fihom nitfgħu l-iskart, biex imbagħad inħallu ħafna ħmieġ maġenbhom. Imbagħad ħalli għallklieb, il-qtates u l-karozzi li jgħaddu sparati jkomplu jferrxu kollox ma kullimkien. Jien nipprova nħajjar lil sħabi tal- iskola biex minflok jitfgħu l-iskart kollu f’ landa tal-iskart waħda jagħmlu bħali u jisseparawh. Jew inkella jekk ikunu qed jieklu xi ħelu u ma jsibhux fejn jarmu l-karta minflok jixħtuha mal-art jeħduha magħhom id-dar u jarmuha d-dar. Kemm ikollna ambjent isbaħ kieku kulħadd iżomm lindafa. Hemm ħafna affarijiet oħra x’wieħed jista’jagħmel biex jibża’għall-ambjent. Jien nipprova nibgħat ittri u messaġġi permezz tal-posta eletronika. B’hekk inkun qed b’hekk inkun qed innaqqas l-użu tal karta u awtomatikament inkunu qed neqirdu inqas siġar li jintużaw biex jipproteġuna. Minflok ma nixgħel kullimkien u nitlaq ‘l hemm nara li nitfi d-dawl biex nibża’ għall-enerġija. U jekk ikolli bżonn immur x’imkien viċin minflok nuża’ karozza immur bir-rota jew bil-mixi. Dan kollu jifranka ħafna tniġġiż tal-arja. U jekk ikolli bżonn immur il-bogħod nipprova nuża l-karzza tal-linja. Mela min jixtieq li fil-futur ikollu baħar nadif, arja mhux imniġġsa u ħafna aktar ħsarat jeħtieg li jibda ħajja ġdida. Id- dar fejn noqgħod. Jien noqgħod f’ kastell l-Imġarr u isbaħ minnu ma nsib imkien. Il-kastell hu kbir u għandu tletin kamra. Ħafna nies jgħidu li hu tal-biża’. Jien u oħti noqogħdu niskopru madwarna u skoprejna li l-art tal-kastell mhix livell, fejn hu lixx u fejn hu mqabbeż. Il-ħitan mimlijin għanqbut għax il-brimba l-kbira tagħmel kullimkien tagħha. Jiena u oħti nħobbu nilgħabu filkatina. Ġieli rajna xi skanetru l’ hawn u l’hinn u ohti tibża’. Ħa ngħidilkom ftit, tafu dan il-kastell ta’ min kien? Kien tal-bużnannu tiegħi, għalhekk antik. Darba sibna senduq li ġo fih kellu ktieb. Dan kien is-sid ta’ 1000 sena ilu u kien vampir! Ġol-kastell joqogħdu l-ħbieb tiegħi l-fantażmi. Il-kamra tiegħi kienet kbira ħafna u bil-lejl meta jkun dlam ċappa nisma’ ħoss ta’ twerżiq tal-ħabib tiegħi l-vampir biex nilgħab miegħu. Inħobb ħafna niskopri u nfittex fuq l-storja tal-kastell. Jien indoqq il-vjolin. Wie ed mill-passatempi tiegħi hu li ndoqq il-vjolin. Ili nitgħallem il-vjolin għal dawn l-aħħar tlett snin. Jien nitgħallem il-pratika jigifieri kif indoqq il-vjolin u it-teorija kif naqra in-noti tal-muzika. Biex nitgħallem tajjeb irid nipprattika kuljum xi nofs siegħa. Kull nhar ta’ Ġimgħa mmur għal lezzjoni ta’ siegħa. L-għalliem tiegħi huwa raġel u nieħu gost ħafna meta ndoqqu flimkien. Il-mużika tgħoġobni ħafna u nixtieq li fil-futur inkun nista’ ndoqq ma’ oħti, għax hi doqq il-pjanu. La nikber nixtieq li ndoqq ġo kunċerti f’Malta, kif ukoll barra minn Malta. Nixtieq li nibqa’ ndoqq, biex meta nikber inkun nista’ immur ġo kuncerti kbar. Jien nieħu gost ħafna indoqq il-vjolin u nippratika biex nipprova nitgħallem aktar. My favourite TV programme. I do not watch too much TV programmes but the little time I have, I see my favourite programme which is “Wizards Waverly Place”. This programme shows every day on Disney Channel. It shows twice a day. The characters that take part in the programme are Alex, Justin and Max. They are Justin and Max, two brothers of Alex. They are wizards and they have magical powers. They work with their mother and father in a restaurant that is called Waverly Place. Their father too has magical powers. So he teaches them magic. The film is magical and fantasy. I like this programme of all because it is not true and it is magical. I love the programme and I’d like that the programme will keep showing every day.

I am a Flower I am a flower. My name is Sunflower. This is because I am yellow and I turn to face the sun from East to West. I live in a big garden with many more types of Flower. I was once a very little seed. Then I was put in the soil. A man came to water me and I started growing. I have roots in the soil to help me drink the water that the man gives us. We get our food from the sunlight and give it to our petals. I have grown since I was a seed but I can grow much taller. I am taller than daisies, roses, lilies and violets. Sometimes bees come buzzing and sit on me to take some pollen and sometimes butterflies come to me to have a little chat. I’m glad I live in this garden, because it is a very beautiful and colour place.
