Letter from the owners...
Welcome to our home... Looking for a house in Northern Virginia was a challenge. We needed something within reach of the Pentagon with space for our growing family of soon-to-be four children. When we came into Montclair, we knew it was the right community. It was large and established with lots of trees and flowers in the spring, had a lake with a beach, and sidewalks for walking and running. And when we saw this house, it felt like home. It was bright, updated, and spacious inside, and we have continued to invest in the house and make improvements. The spacious yard and finished basement offer plenty of room for our children (now five!) to play and grow. Five bedrooms together upstairs was a unique find, and there is a bonus bedroom (or workout room/office/craft room) in the basement. The long driveway keeps the children safely playing away from the street, and the cul-de-sac eliminates busy traffic. Our littlest ones enjoy climbing the big rock out front, and playing in the “fairy house” under the holly tree. In the spring, the azaleas explode into color all around the yard; in the summer, you can walk to the beach; and on cold winter nights, we hide out by the fireplace. It’s been a welcoming place for friends and family and our children’s schoolhouse. The commuter bus to the Pentagon stops right at the corner of Avon and Waterway and takes me right to the Pentagon, and all the shops, restaurants, and activities we want are right nearby. We hope you’ll also enjoy the new public library due to open right here in Montclair in September. It’s been the perfect house for us, and we hope it will be for you also! We know you’ll enjoy putting your own touches on the house to make it your home. Sincerely, The Bloom Family
