Dear Prospective Home Buyer, Our family has lived in this home for the past 18 years and it has been an amazing experience. If it weren’t for being so far from family, we would stay longer. This home has been a friend to us. We have enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and the spectacular wildlife views in the woods behind the house. The Deep Run community is fantastic. The neighborhood is quiet but the neighbors keep track of each other and help each other whenever anything pops up – from picking up mail, helping with snow removal, or keeping an eye on things when you are away. While we have no children, the neighborhood has a number of children we have watched grow up, from toddlers into young adults. While our community feels very quiet and suburban (with rural Fauquier County just west of us), we are still close to everything. We both carpooled to the Pentagon in Northern Virginia for 18 years. Garrisonville Road now offers many commuting options including two bus lines, HOV lanes, van pools, car pools, and slugging. There are also many new restaurants and carryout places that serve the area from national chains, including Sam’s Pizza, Domino’s, and many others. Just minutes away to the north or south you’ll find shopping on either Garrisonville Road or Highway 17, with Target, Walmart, Lowes, Home Depot, and many other major stores. The Spotsylvania Mall and Central Park are just a few more minutes south at Route 3 in Fredericksburg with many more stores and restaurants. We also have a local garage (Beach’s garage) for vehicle inspections just two miles from the house, but a host of automotive services are available on both Garrisonville Road and Hwy 17. So many stores and types of restaurants at our fingertips! We are really going to miss our home in Stafford. It has been filled with so many joyous memories and friends that we will never forget.
