To the new homeowner of 721 Kingsbrook Road, Welcome to your new home! Our family has greatly enjoyed our time in Mountain Brook Estates We moved into this home when we blended our families, wanting to give each of our four teenagers rooms of their own. Now three of them have graduated high school and gone off to college, so we’ve decided it’s time to let another family enjoy this home.
The first time I walked through the front door I was a racted to the hardwood floors and open living room on the main floor While living here I loved being able to cook together in the open kitchen. The kids entertained in the basement, and each had their own rooms to retire to for quiet and study. And it was wonderful to start the day drinking coffee and bird watching in the backyard
When you walk outside the front door, there’s a good chance one of your neighbors will greet you. It’s a short trip to Yowell Meadow Park or the Packard Theater or kayaking on Lake Pelham. Our small town has more than its share of great restaurants (make sure you try It’s About Time and Natraj down on Davis Street) There’s great pizza, Greek, and Thai food less than a mile from home When it’s cold, grab a cup of coffee and a scone at Raven’s Nest, and on a hot day the iced coffee with coffee ice cubes is great too. When you crave something sweet, pop in at the Frenchman’s Corner (make sure you don’t miss the Manon Sucre next Christmas!).
Culpeper has a small town feel, but there’s a lot to see and do. And when you do need to go a bit farther afield, there’s easy access to Northern Virginia, Charlo esville, Fredericksburg, or the Shenandoah. I work in Manassas, but the commute up 29 is easy.
I’ll miss our home, but I’ll cherish the memories of our time here. I hope your family will love Kingsbrook Road as much as we do and make wonderful memories of your own here.
Sincerely,
Timothy Hadlock
