Dear Prospective Home Buyer, My family has lived on Oakenshaw Ct., for almost 32 years and it’s been an amazing experience. One of our earliest memories was the first week we moved here in July 1988, I was returning home after work. Our oldest son who was entering the 10th grade missed his friends from our old neighborhood. He was sitting on the front stoop very sad. I took him and his younger brother to the basketball court. There were 5 boys my oldest son’s age playing hoops, I asked if they needed another player to even the sides. Well the rest is history, he made friends and never looked back. Burke Centre has been very good to us. We are moving as we are entering the next chapter of our life and desire to downsize. Our 4 children and 13 grandchildren have many wonderful memories, of family dinners, holidays, birthdays, wedding celebrations, and friend and family get-togethers. That took place in the cozy family room, spacious basement, on the deck and park-like backyard, and the large dining room (it comfortably seats over 20). The Oaks is great place to raise a family, our children and their friends grew up together, from elementary, middle and high school. They were able to go to the pool, basketball, tennis and volleyball courts on their own either walking or riding their bikes. We have many wonderful memories and friends at our home on Oakenshaw Court, who we will still stay in contact with.
