Dear Prospective Home Buyer, We moved into 4259 Pemberley Ct. five years ago and have fully enjoyed the home, the neighborhood, and Woodbridge. The spacious layout and large bedrooms have allowed us to have our parents and extended families staying with us for long periods of time without feeling crowded or lacking for privacy. In addition, living in Woodbbridge has allowed us to take part in a vibrant night scene of restaurants and community activities. Recently, our employer has offered us the opportunity to telework full-time and we have decided to part with our first home and move back to our hometown to be closer to our families. Because the house backs up to a forest separating Witheridge Estates from the neighboring community there is a significant amount of privacy, and we have spent many afternoons and evenings sitting on the deck, barbecuing, watching the deer in the forest and the eagles in the trees behind our yard. We first toured the home in the winter when the trees were bare and the forest floor was covered in snow. From the moment we walked inside the postcard perfect view from the large living room windows made us immediately fall in love with both the home and the setting. This home has allowed us to have several picturesque white Christmases with both friends and loved ones, and they will be sorely missed. The Witheridge Estates neighborhood is very quiet with many families and close proximity to two elementary schools, and the location is proximal to the Potomac Mills shopping area, Stonebridge at Potomac Towne Center and the historic Occoquan. Prior to working from home we would commute to Alexandria via the Virginia Railway Express (VRE) station located approximately 15 minutes from our home. Since the Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center shopping center is located on the way to the VRE station we would often stop at the many restaurants to relax after riding the train back to Woodbridge. The convenient location of our home, the commuter rail, and the shopping center made commuting something to actually look forward to. On the weekends we would head to historic Occoquan for upscale dining or to the Lakeridge marina and golf course for outdoor activities. The decision to leave both our home and the Woodbridge community has not been easy, and we will miss living here. We hope that the next family that lives here will enjoy it as much as we have.
