Dear Prospective Home Buyer, I’ve lived in Unit 305 at 1441 Rhode Island Condos for nearly eight years and am so grateful to have found such a welcoming, well-run building in an amazing location. Selling my condo is bittersweet, but I’m ready for a new project and hope Unit 305’s next owner will enjoy it as much as I have. I bought Unit 305 when I was starting my career in DC. After renting in Penn Quarter for a year, I was drawn to 1441 Rhode Island Condos because it felt more like a neighborhood—I loved the tree-lined streets, close proximity to Whole Foods, restaurants, and shops, and the convenience of a dedicated parking spot in an underground garage. Over the years, I’ve slowly updated Unit 305. My favorite feature is the carrara marble waterfall island, although the remodeled bathroom is a close second. This has been a great place to gather with friends. The 1441 Rhode Island Condos community is incredibly welcoming. The building’s staff is helpful and responsive. The Board of Directors hosts a holiday party each December and it’s a great way to meet neighbors (although I’m confident Unit 305’s next owner will meet other residents before then). The building also has an active message board that allows residents to communicate with each other on everything from borrowing parking spots for guests to dog walker recommendations. I don’t think I’ll ever have an easier commute than I do right now—it takes me about 15 minutes to walk to my office near K Street. When I worked in the Metro Center area, I caught the bus on 14th Street to work (20 minutes) and walked home (30 minutes). Many residents bike to work and store their bikes in the building’s “bike garage” on the G3 level of the parking garage. I’m really going to miss Unit 305. Living here has been the best of all worlds! The updates and finishes make it a great condo, but the convenient location, deeded parking spot, and well-maintained building make it an outstanding place to call home. Sincerely,
