Dear Prospective Home Buyer, I lived at 1400 S Barton St for the past 5 years and truly enjoyed it every day. I am only leaving because my once bachelorette pad, does not accommodate my growing family and the abundance of baby gear that we quickly accumulated. I think what drew me first to Arlington Village was the location. The closeness to DC and walkability factor are amazing and I might miss those the most. The condo is steps from multiple grocery stores, restaurants, gyms, coffee shops and public transportation options. There’s also a farmers market on Sundays just around the corner. The pool is definitely the community highlight during the months of May through August. (Maybe I’ll miss this the most!) You can have food delivered and they make it easy with Food Truck Friday. The Condo Association takes great care of the community and is extremely helpful and responsive. The Village itself offers a sense of community and safety that I desired as a single woman moving in. When I was buying in 2015, I had my heart set on Old Town. But as soon as I visited the Village, I wanted in. The space, the outdoor deck, the location, were everything I wanted. It was the perfect home for me, the perfect starter home for my family and I’ll always treasure my time there. Good luck in your search.
