Dear Prospective Home Buyer, Our family has lived in the townhome on Solomon Seal Court for the past 17 years… way longer than we initially anticipated. We thought we would be there for two to three years tops and move to another assignment (former military) or possibly upgrade to a larger home. But turns out we loved our townhome, we loved our location, and we loved our neighbors and community. The Daventry community may be one of the best locations in Northern Virginia. It has convenient access to multiple commuting options, I-95, and the DC Beltway. You can be almost anywhere in the Virginia/Maryland/DC area within an hour – of course that’s with “good traffic”!!!! There are two entrances into Daventry so there are always options in getting in and out of the community. Daventry is close to shopping, restaurants, and even DC sightseeing… not to mention going north to NYC or south to Williamsburg. Our family became “Virginians” in this community. All of our children went to elementary school, middle school, high school, and/or college from this home… and they all came back to live in this home afterwards. We knew our neighbors and saw their children grow up. It would not be unusual to see neighbors talking at the mailbox or in the parking lot after an outing or a hard day’s work. It would also be normal for neighbors to get out and shovel snow together or just be outside chatting after a big snowstorm (and yes, there have been a few of those!). Everyone would watch out for everyone else – it is a true community. We will really miss our townhome – we have loved living in this townhome. The townhome itself, the community, the neighbors, and the location kept us here for all these years. Needless to say, all of us have many, many memories wrapped up in this Solomon Seal Court townhome… and are moving to our next destination with a bit of mixed emotions.
