T.W.I.R.P. (The Week In Review / Preview) February 29, 2012 Dear Family and Friends of BSUMC, BSUMC is a can do church! The Spirit of the Lord is moving at the Broad Street UMC, no doubt about it. I went to my office on Sunday after service to find the room packed with eager volunteers for the planning session for the Community Dinner (this Saturday). Sandra Nutbrown and the Outreach Committee have worked hard to plan this event. Many organizations have contributed to make this a success as we reach out to needy folks in our neighborhood. I learned that fifteen volunteers participated in the Kitchen Clean Up day last Saturday. On a previous Saturday workday eighteen volunteers gathered to make soup while ten men worked in the chapel cleaning out the fallen plaster. Last Sunday parents, grandparents and children filled our Toddler room as we experienced our fourth Family Clusters Christian education. Robin Moss joined our planning team. New families have begun attending BSUMC and have asked to unite with our church family. On Audrey Rachel Sunshine and Carley Rae Lovejoy recently
