Staying in one of our residence halls provides the ultimate college experience: growing and learning with like-minded students in a fun, yet safe, environment. Everything you need — classrooms, labs, food, the Student Union, and the Eula Dees Library are all within a 5-minute walk.

We provide comfortable and safe residence halls for students who wish to live on campus. The college has five multi-level residence halls for male and female students: Murphy Hall, Wood Hall, and Mississippi Hall (women’s residences), and White Hall, Wood Hall, and Yarber Hall (men’s residences).

Apply for campus housing

Dorm rooms are assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis. Submit your $100 housing deposit ASAP if you plan to live on campus! You do not have to apply for admission to the college before you apply for housing. Apply at nemcc.edu.

Complete your FAFSA

To be considered for financial aid and some scholarships, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Visit studentaid.gov beginning October 1 and enter NEMCC’s FAFSA code 002426.

To be considered for MTAG, MESG, or HELP, you must be a resident of Mississippi. Apply at msfinancialaid.org

Test scores are evaluated based on your highest composite score. A minimum score is not required for admission to the college; however, certain programs require minimum scores. Use these codes to send test scores to NEMCC: ACT: 2226 • SAT: 25-105

We offer over 30 career and technical education programs and eight health sciences programs leading to either a Certificate or an Associate Degree upon completion. In addition, we offer the first two years of over 200 transfer pathways into a Mississippi university. We’ve got something for you!
