MARELEC M1-F Accuracy Fast weighing Robust construction

MARELEC offers the best equipment for flow weighing. These systems are able to weigh accurately a flow of products, e.g. pelagic fish or ice, over a certain period of time. This eliminates the need for collecting raw material in trays or tubs for weighing and gives a continuous raw material throughput.

Every piece of raw material is weighed with the conveyor belt running and weighing results are added up to a total.

For this purpose we have developed the MARELEC M1-F100, with a capacity of 100 ton/hour. The machine can be used on shore or at sea (optional).

The machines are developed to be used in the most severe marine circumstances, and in this way accurate and fast weighing is always assured.

Yield and speed are important for any processor in the salmon industry. Marelec covers a range of weighing and grading systems from the reception of the fish to the end of the line. This means that the weight of every single fish or total amount can be recorded at the reception. This is also possible after gutting, filleting, skinning,‌ The MARELEC equipment allows to divide the fish flow into different sizes, qualities or even species. At the end of the line, the packing can be done in tubs, boxes or bags, depending on the need.

Intelligent batching is available on all machines to minimize giveaway or excess weight.

TURBOT

Size grading plays an important role in turbot cultivation. To ensure optimal fish growth different sizes need to be separated on a regular basis. With this in mind MARELEC developed a gentle weighing and grading method. The systems have tilting conveyors and low angle gliding slopes which allow accurate weighing and grading without stressing the turbot. Special attention was given to the surface of the belts to ensure all fishes remain in a stable position. An efficient and fast weighing and grading method that meets the needs of the market.

OYSTER

Oysters have many different shapes, sizes and weights. MARELEC can offer different infeed systems from small to very high capacity. The size can be determined by weight, surface or volume. To analyze the shape / volume, MARELEC uses a high speed camera MARELEC V3.

The V3 camera can work together with the weighing unit to separate different shapes in combination with weight. This gives an added value to the product.

MARINE

Adding value at the very start of the processing line can be done by grading on board. On-board graders have an active motion compensation that always gives accurate readings even at the toughest seas. As space on a fishing vessel is even more limited, MARELEC offers a tailor made design that suits the wishes of the customer. The density scale communicates the weight to the PORTIO to calculate the density value for each individual product.

Dynamic density weigher The infeed weigher, in line with the PORTIO, sends the exact weight of each product to the PORTIO, prior to scanning for accurate calculation of the density value of each individual product.

APH

The Automatic Product Holder consists of four flexible arms. It holds down each piece of product on top which keeps it stable and helps prevent it from moving on the conveyor belt during cutting. The APH is driven by drum motors, no transmission chains, and is easily adjustable.

BH

The Back Holder assures that the last portions on high products remain upwards to assure precise portioning till the last piece, for optimum use of the whole product to give maximum yields.

OPH

The Outfeed Product Holder separates the exact weight portions from each other before they go onto the inline weighing unit of the grader.

Retractable

The retractable outfeed belt eliminates automatically the head trim and/or tail trim by retracting the outfeed belt. An optional blow off system assures that those trims are separated from the other portions.

MBE Software

MARELEC Bright Eye – MES software connects the PORTIO with graders, scales, terminals, bar code readers etc., to control and trace the entire flow starting from receiving, stock of raw materials, processing, labeling, stock of finished products, all the way to dispatch.

Designed to give a natural look on sliced portions, yet keeping the accuracy, the PORTIO 1A, PORTIO 3A, as well as the PORTIO 1DA allows the operator to change the cutting angle from 0° to 30°or 45°.

Slicing under angle can be done at the same speeds as the standard PORTIO.

Changing the angle is fast and easy without the use of tools. The optimum gap between the infeed and outfeed belt is adjusted automatically (patent pending).

PORTIO in line with GRADER Yields can be improved tremendously when the intelligence of the PORTIO divides the primals into portions of various programmed weights or sizes. All portions will be exactly within the required tolerances and according to the priorities. Each lane has its controller and the 2 lanes run completely independently from each other. The PORTIO 1DA has the same features, but allows on top the ability to change the cutting angle.
