Applications FCA 160 The FCA 160 offers unrivalled versatility in an automatic clipper. It closes all fibrous and collagen casings up to 120 mm (depending on the material thickness), plastic casings up to 160 mm. The automatic double-clipper closes the R-ID clip sizes M, L and XL. FCA 120 The FCA 120 is characterised by a maximum speed at more than 200 cycles. It closes all fibrous and collagen casings up to 65 mm and plastic casings up to 120 mm. Maximum flexibility is achieved by the use of the R-ID clip sizes S and M.

Function and operation The automatic double clipper is connected mechanically and synchronized electrically to a filling machine. The portions are fed in precisely to the nearest gram and closed by a clip. The double-clipper’s PC 100 controller allows a very fast and accurate signal processing and an improved fault diagnosis. It provides direct and unambiguous indication of defects or failures at the SAFETY TOUCH. Software data can be conveniently updated through the USB interface and operating data can be read via the WS-Food Standard‘s interface. A thorough process monitoring is guaranteed by the high degree of automation of the FCA. If there are deviations from the product programmes’ set of parameters stored in the SAFETY TOUCH, the control system corrects automatically or a message is displayed. The operator is guided intuitively through the flat menu structure with informative icons. Operator, set-up and service levels are clearly separated and password protected. The automated operation offers the greatest product safety and maximum efficiency.

The clear control panel includes function keys for the counters knife, loop, label and single clip feature. The holder of the casing brake is also suitable for the ­optional pneumatic casing brake. Applications The ICA 8700 is the ideal machine for large calibres and moulded products up to a calibre of 200 mm. Fibrous, collagen and plastic casings can be processed. Function and operation The ICA is connected mechanically to filling machines – including ham pumps – and synchronized electrically. After the filler has discharged the portion, the patented iris separator powerfully encloses the casing and separates whole muscles without damage to the casing. The ICA is equipped with the tried-andtested clip distance of 51 mm. The iris-clipper’s PC control allows a very fast and accurate signal processing. The diagnosis system provides direct and unambiguous indication of the operation status, as well as an analysis of the filling and clipping times at the SAFETY TOUCH. Software can be conveniently updated through the USB interface and operating data can be read via the WS-Food Standard‘s interface. A thorough process monitoring is guaranteed by the ICA’s high degree of automation. Deviations from the recipe parameters saved in SAFETY TOUCH are monitored. Function and operation The TSA becomes a continuous working production line when it is coupled with a stuffer and an automatic clipper. The flat roll stock film is slipped onto a self-locking roll carrier. The roller guide system ensures a constant input tension of the film unwinding. The forming shoulder forms the flat film around the stuffing horn into a tube that is still open. Then the side seam is sealed by heat sealing. An integrated control circuit provides for a steady amount of shirred film for the downstream clipper to allow continuous production. The volumetric dosing guarantees high reproducibility of filling weight and process cycle. Function and operation The RCA 600 automatic doubleclipper is connected mechanically and electrically to the stuffer. The preset precise weight portion is called up by the stuffer using the fill/clip buttons and clipped automatically. Alternatively, portioning can be carried out manually to obtain ring portions which are visually of the same size. The optimised separator and the moveable casing brake ensure gentle processing of the casing material.

Function and operation PDC-A 600 and PDC-A 700 automatic double-clippers are coupled mechanically and electrically to the filler. Upon closure of the automatic separator, the filled casing is centred while the emulsion is separated, and is securely closed with the doubleclipping system. At the same time the casing can be cut off automatically with the pneumatic knife via the function of the chain control. For hangingup the sausages, loops can be applied and clipped automatically with the optional looper GSE. Ergonomically arranged operating elements make the machine easy and comfortable to operate. All Poly-clip System automatic double-clippers comply with the strict CE-regulations on hygiene, safety and ergonomics.

Function and operation Due to the continually working mesh belt, the individual products packed in shrink bags are conveyed through the shrink tunnel PST. The input and output are equipped with lamellae curtains, meaning that the heat of the steam can be used in the most energy-efficient manner as possible. The temperature of the steam can be individually adjusted to the particular product (up to 98 °C). The steam makes the film shrink uniformly, free from creases while using the minimum amount of heat and energy necessary.

Combinability VAC – is ideally suited to evacuate the air from the shrink bags (creates a vacuum) and in combination with clipping machines of the Easy Clip Lineh securely close the bags with a clip
