YESS 2021 National Task
YESS Team WAGGGS Miss Shakira Nakimera and MS. Joyce Nalukuma, Team Connect Nepal had a virtual meeting on September 13 via zoom where we discussed about the works that we were doing from the past few months.
Ambassadors-Ms. Nirmala Shrestha/Sumi Shrestha/Diku Tamang have conducted distribution of Freedom Kit Bags which are ecofriendly, reusable menstruation management kits for the young girls and women at Konjyosom-5, Bhardeu, Lalitpur on Sept. 25, 2021.
FOREWORDS
YESS Girls Movement is one of the leading projects of Nepal Scouts since 2018, with the support of WAGGGS and NOREC. Nepal Scouts is delighted to welcome passionate young girls leaders as the National Task Force Members for the 2021 Youth Exchange South to South (YESS) movement in Nepal. In past, the YESS project has enhanced the ability of our young leaders by developing their skills in leadership ,communication ,reporting and ability to manage their day-to-day activities including special events. The YESS projects has also assisted Nepal Scouts in interacting with other participants and the young women leaders will be strengthen and empower other young girls and leaders of Nepal Scouts. They are working as a role model which inspires and encourages other youths to be the members of Nepal Scouts. This year, due to COVID-19 International Exchange has not been planned for 2020/2021. YESS Girls Movement-Nepal Scouts has recruited 20 young girls along with 5 alumnae as team leader who will guide the Task Force Members .They have already been engaged in different activities and commitment in the mission to help girls reach their highest potential through campaign, activities delivering WAGGGS initiatives like World Thinking Day ,Free Being Me / Action on Body Confidence , Stop the violence etc. followed with daily office administrative support and other assigned tasks. Nepal Scouts is eager to continue working with the girls to achieve the targeted YESS project along with the girls to achieve the targeted YESS project along with others WAGGGS initiatives. Nepal Scouts is also committed to ensure that the YESS Girls Movements program that will support in delivering the outstanding results in Nepal for a whole year. The movement will be the opportunity to have experience of lifetime not just for the girls but for all scouts in Nepal.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
Currently, due to the second wave of global pandemic Corona virus (COVID-19) all activities are halted and doing activities virtually. Even in the lockdown situation girls are completing the challenges by the WAGGGS and of the project as well and stood noticeable in social medias spreading the message of scouting to the world. All the teams worked hard and conducted various virtual programs for the young girls and leaders. Different informative messages regarding COVID-19 was spread by COVID-19 Response Team. All the teams are doing the activities virtually due to the present situation. The Membership Team and COVID-19 Response Team also completed the tasks assigned by WAGGGS in a proper and effective way.The Capacity Building Team also successfully conducted Basic Graphics Designing Course in which MOs staffs also participated. Similarly, Advocacy team launched one week long webinar for Himali Scout Troop. The Scouts actively participated and they were thankful for YESS team as even during pandemic they got platform to learn many more new things. Besides these two others team also did their best and team work and coordination between each other can be seen. They all are giving their 100% efforts. At last, I am very thankful for having very passionate and hardworking YESS National Task Force Members. I am impressed with their creativity and during the hard time also they are performing very well. I am proud of them. Hence, I personally ray of new hope and better world. Thank you!!

PROGRESS ON MEMBERSHIP
In the month of September, YESS National Task Force 2021 Team Achievers had online session with Societal Youth R/R and unity R/R crew. This session was related about scouting and YESS Girls Movement. They were able to recruit 30 Ranger. All the participants were very active and along with ranger scouts, rover scouts were also a part of this session. The main objective was to provide the knowledge about YESS girls movement in Nepal scout. On the occasion of International Peace month and celebrating International Peace Day 2021, Team Advocacy of YESS National Task Force 2021 had organized the plantation program with the theme of "Plantation for Peace" at Kakani International Training Center of Nepal Scouts with the collaboration of all the teams of YESS Girls Movements National Task Force 2021 along with YESS Alumnae and other rovers and rangers from different crew. Team Achievers was also part of this program. 18th September 2021, Team Achievers had a meeting at Kakani International Training Center of Nepal Scouts. We discuss about our work plan and upcoming events/program that we will be doing physically.

CAPACITY BUILDING This month team Cap force supported in conducting dialogue of peace (Roleplay) o the occasion of international peace day. We also supported team advocacy with Plantation program on the same occasion. Furthermore, team Cap Force fully participated in conducting first ever Helen Storrow Pop up Seminar in our MO. It was conducted for 3 days where team cap force supported in planning and facilitating. Lastly, we took part I quarterly meeting to discuss further projects and programs that we can do in our MO.
COMMUNICATION TEAM In the month of September, Communication team tried to reach the targeted audience and external audiences through different platforms. Covid cases has decreased at the month, we were able to attend/participate in different programs organized physically. In presence of WAGGGS Global Programme Manager Ms. Robina Sentumbwe, YESS Team WAGGGS Miss Shakira Nakimera and MS. Joyce Nalukuma, Team Connect Nepal had a virtual meeting on September 13 via zoom where we discussed about the works that we were doing from the past few months. They praised us for the work that we have been doing, encouraged to do more. Communication team focuses more on posting and sharing information related to covid 19 and contents of scouts, wagggs and yess girls movement. Communication team has collaborated with each and every concerned team for maintenances and sharing information using technology and social media. This month we have posted 14 contents on fb and 13 content Instagram including many Facebook and Instagram stories. This month Facebook got 307 likes and Instagram got 411 likes
