PEOPLES PARTICIPATION: MAIN PROBLEMS Survival of plantation is very less. Survival of plantation is very less. Shortage of drinking and irrigation water. Damage to natural resource of water and kuhls. Khadra slip is causing huge damage and life is in danger. Plantation done is not successful. Chilgoza species is in danger. Rocky portions, land slips and projecy activities are causing danger to life. Tunneling of Kshang project is disturbing sources of water.
SUGGESTION FOR IMPROVEMENT Maintainance period for new plantation should be 10 years. Maintainance period for new plantation should be 10 years. Water storage tanks to be constructed. Dept. should maintain the earlier done works and renovat also. Urgent treatment is needed with river bank stablization. Maintainance should be atleast for 7 to 10 years. As it is the main species of the local area so its safety is very necessary. Authorities should take appropriate actions. Experts to investigate and suggest wayouts for treatment.
