PEOPLES PARTICIPATION: MAIN PROBLEMS All villages are not linked with the roads. Accommodation of the school is very old and poor. Funds allotted for the new building were not utilized. There is no facility of common toilets in the villages. There is shortage of education staff in the Senior Secondary School. There is no facility of pond for drinking water for cattle. There are no primary schools in all the villages. Condition of village paths joining to other villages is very poor. No seeds, plants, fertilizers and insecticides are being provided by Horticulture/agriculture department in the area. The condition of road from Matyana to Chamola is very miserable. There is no banking facility in the area. There is no doctor and sufficient medicines in the Dispensary.

SUGGESTION FOR IMPROVEMENT Link roads are required from (Mogra to Sewera Khad-5Kms), (Kangal to Thanu-1Km), (Kainthal to Rehali-6Kms), (Kangal to Chajol - 2Kms) and (Kachin to Kangal - 10 Kms).

PEOPLES PRIORITIES

New building for the school be made out of the funds already allotted. Common toilets be made in the village to save the environment.

Priority.

Sufficient staff be posted to the school to impart good education to the students. A village pond be made for the drinking water for cattle. Primary Schools are required in Chajol, Demohi, Shadri villages. Maintenance of the village paths is required urgently Seeds, Plants, fertilizers and insecticides be provided through Horticulture/Agriculture department on subsidy. The road from matyana to Chamola be mettelled and widened. A branch of local/Nationalized bank be opened in the area. Doctor be posted to the dispensary and sufficient medicines be supplied.
