SUGGESTIONS

The MFPs be extended in the WL Sanctuary and people be educated to product and use the MFPs.

PEOPLES PARTICIPATION: MAIN PROBLEMS No dispensary is held in the nearest areas. The condition of the village paths is very poor. Inspection Hut made at Kangu is waste as the same is not completed in all respects. Accomodation for Mahila Mandal is not held. There is shortage of irrigated water as well as drinking water for the wild animals. All the villages are not joined with the roads in the Wild Life sanctuary. Pigs in the Wild Life sanctuary are destroying the crops and small wild animals. There is no trg Centre for ladies in the area. No dispensary is held in the nearest areas. All the villages are not joined with the roads in the Wild Life sanctuary. Accomodation for Mahila Mandal is not held. The condition of the village paths is very poor.

SUGGESTION FOR IMPROVEMENT Dispensary be opened in the nearest place. Maintenance of the paths is required. The inspection hut is required to be renovated to make it upto the level of Rest House. Pigs in the Wild Life sanctuary are destroying the crops and small wild animals. Fair price shop is not available in the nearest areas and the items being provided therein are very costly. Inspection Hut made at Kangu is waste as the same is not completed in all respects. The wild fruits and medicinal plants are minimising in the Wildlife sanctuary. There is no trg Centre for ladies in the area. Animals in the Wild life have to go to Satluj at least 10 Kms for drinking of water where they are being hunted.
