This project has been a labor of love, born from our deep affection for this incredible community, and fueled by our unwavering dedication to promoting the vibrant tapestry of local businesses that make Philadelphia shine.

The response we’ve received from both our beloved locals and the enthusiastic participation of businesses has been nothing short of exhilarating! With a staggering 7,725 businesses, organizations, and individuals nominated and vying for the spotlight in over 280 categories, the energy was palpable from the get-go. From the iconic cheesesteak joints to the hidden gems tucked away in our neighborhoods, every corner of Philadelphia had a chance to shine.

Our nomination period, spanning from December 4th through December 15th, was a whirlwind of excitement as the community rallied to champion their favorites. And then came the moment we’ve all been waiting for – the official voting phase, which ran from January 1st through January 19th. The response was nothing short of phenomenal, with over 586,000 votes pouring in, each one a testament to the unwavering love and support our communities have for our local heroes.

And now, after much anticipation and nail-biting suspense, we are thrilled to announce the names of our illustrious 744 winners! These businesses, representing the very essence of Philadelphia’s spirit, have captured our hearts and imaginations, earning their rightful place in the spotlight.
