s we created our August edition, it was good to have the idea of ‘mind your own vibration’ (this month’s theme) top of mind.

Wow! Was a word I used a lot producing this edition as there was a lot of Earth change going on, about 6 retrogrades, a feisty full moon eclipse and more! I spent as much time in nature as I could (without turning into an ice-cube!) and cleared energy in myself, my home, others, the business and also reached out for more connection time with others.

Some may wonder, why have things been so intense this year? I see the changes as part of the bigger wake-up process going on around the world.

coconut oil, then line with baking paper or muffin patties.

3. Mix together the melted coconut oil, eggs, baking powder and lemon juice.

Then add the mashed bananas.

4. Mix together the dry ingredients. Fold the wet ingredients through until just combined.

5. Fold through berries. Pour mixture into lined loaf pan or muffin tins.

6. Bake in the oven for 20-30 minutes for muffins, or 45-60 minutes for the loaf.

The usual insert of a skewer will do the trick in checking. It should come out mostly clean.

7. Remove from the oven and cool for 5 minutes in the tray. Then you can turn it out onto a wire rack to cool.

8. Slice and enjoy it just as it is.

Could you have a leaky

gut?

ost of you would have heard of Irritable Bowel Syndrome before, but there’s another digestive system syndrome that many specialists are starting to pay more attention to than IBS: Leaky Gut Syndrome. It’s estimated that millions of people could be suffering from a leaky gut but not even know it. Symptoms can range from mild to severe, and can lead to a variety of other health conditions.

What is Leaky Gut Syndrome?

Your colon is a pretty amazing organ. The lining of your colon wall gets to perform a juggling act between allowing essential nutrients to pass through to your bloodstream, but also acting as a barrier to prevent any larger disease-causing compounds from escaping your colon. Leaky Gut Syndrome occurs when tiny doorways open up between your intestines and bloodstream. These openings allow things that should never break loose from the gut – like toxins and undigested food particles – to break free and infiltrate your body. The end result can be chronic inflammation in your body

and lead to a raft of associated issues.

How do I know if I have leaky gut?

Like many digestive disorders, the symptoms of leaky gut are not unique to leaky gut syndrome alone. You may experience food sensitivities, bloating and other digestive problems, thyroid conditions, fatigue, joint pain, nutrient malabsorption, headaches and skin complaints. Your doctor can perform a number of tests that will indicate whether your gut is leaky so that you can take reparative action.

Why does the gut become leaky?

One of the most common contributors to a leaky gut is toxin overload; from antibiotics and other prescription medication, fluoridated water, and other environmental toxins.

Periods of poor diet can also cause damage, especially from irritants such as added sugar, GMOs, refined oils, conventional gluten and dairy products, and synthetic food additives. An imbalance in your gut bacteria can also cause leaky gut, as can chronic stress.

Can I just ignore it?

Leaky Gut Syndrome acts as a

precursor to a variety of more severe health conditions. It’s much better to address symptoms early before the damage can progress to more harmful problems, such as autoimmune disorders, food allergies and sensitivities, chronic fatigue, asthma, and other inflammatory issues such as arthritis, ulcerative colitis and psoriasis.

What should I do about my leaky gut?

Healing the symptoms of leaky gut syndrome can be a trial-and-error affair, but most protocols follow some pretty standard guidelines. Firstly remove the triggers affecting your gut, whether it be food, medication or lifestyle. Next you’ll want to focus on an anti-inflammatory diet, followed by taking some trusted gut-healers such as L-Glutamine, digestive enzymes and prebiotic fibres.

Finally, introduce beneficial bacteria strains to help repair your gut health.

re you stressed, anxious or depressed? When you think about mental health, food isn’t often the first thing you would think of.

However there is a strong link between what we eat and how we feel.

The digestive system has a large part to play in producing neurotransmitters, which ultimately affect the way we feel and think. Let’s explore some of the important neurotransmitters.

y journey of restoring health started after experiencing multiple miscarriages. “Your test results are normal. There’s nothing we can do, except prescribe antidepressants. Best of luck,” is what the doctor said after my third miscarriage. Unsure of what lay ahead, I intuitively knew medications weren’t the answer, and threw the script in the bin.

I began paying more attention to my body and the messages it had been sending for over 10 years. y life work has been exploring and researching the mindbody connection. When we function from what I refer to as our ‘right mind’, with correct perception and inspired action, we can experience peace within, no matter what the external situation.

Our internal frequency, the thoughts within our mind, creates our experience projected out. There is nothing that matters in our life experience more than this truth. This represents our topic perfectly, from a new thought perspective – if we mind our own vibration, then can we experience a change in our external world?

Our purpose is to experience peace regardless of what is happening in the world. Yet we have been educated to think there is something outside of us that will save us; nothing outside ourselves can give us peace.

This also means nothing outside ourselves can hurt us, or disturb our peace or upset us in any way. We are in charge of the universe. Peace lies within us, buried deep perhaps. As sure as we

have awareness to experience thoughts, there is a light within representing peace.

If our bodies are experiencing sickness and discord then we have within us the ability for healing. The source for healing is where the need for healing lies. As real as those ‘clouds’ appear to be, the light is always within us.

When one stands in sickness there is no reason to believe there is a brilliant light hidden by clouds. The clouds seem to be the only reality. The analogy of clouds and the blue sky above them, as described by many Taoist and Buddhist teachings, represents this light within us so well. We know the clouds obscure the blue sky. Our guilt and grievances are the veil of clouds blocking our light within us. Forgiveness and correct perception allow us to remove the veil and reach the light within. The layer of clouds may be dark and thick, this is where support may be required to experience clear blue skies. Frequency technologies assist as one of the quickest ways to move from clouds of

despair, into the wholeness of who we truly are.

The body keeps the mind separate, we surround our mind with a body and then imprison it thinking we are limited to a body; that this is who we are. I

f you’re new to crystals and their metaphysical healing, do you wonder how they actually vibrate and connect with us?

Every crystal receives natural energy charges from Mother Earth as it’s forming. They can then transmit and share this energy to us and their surrounds. Stones can help heal us, banish negative energy, protect us, aid meditation, keep us calm and bring positivity. By now most of us have realised that we need to be a vibrational match to what we want to create and manifest in life. However, that’s often easier said than done.

We can tell ourselves to be “positive” and “grateful” all we want, if our body (as a representation of our subconscious) holds a different belief, it’s not authentic and the universe will know. This is called cognitive dissonance and will make manifesting your dreams impossible.

What to do about it?

To truly become the creator of our reality, we first need to understand that we need to look at our triggers, struggles and ‘yucky’ emotions and acknowledge what they are trying to do FOR us,

instead of seeing them as the enemy that we need to get away from.

A simple rule of thumb is, if I can see a trait in someone else, I definitely possess that trait myself. Maybe they’re expressing something I’m currently repressing. Maybe they’re repressing something I’m currently expressing.

It’s not always simple to deduce the exact pattern we’re running immediately, but if there’s a feeling of discordance or ‘trigger’ when observing a person or an event, then there’s something we haven’t yet owned or dealt with internally (this is also known as our ‘shadow’).

Our brain always wants to bring us back to a point where we live most authentically and true to our nature.

So it will do its best to make the subconscious conscious and create scenarios where we can recognise this lost and disowned aspect of ourselves and claim it back.

By looking at our triggers, we can bring our shadow into light, own them back and release the charge. As a result, we set ourselves free.

However, if we hold a lot of charge in our body towards the bespoke shadow aspect, we will need to release it from the body to create true freedom.

love it when people grasp the quantum law that you are me and I am you! Why you ask? Let me explain.

Our mind, body and spirit are like a BIG magnet. When you are conscious of what you think, believe and project, you know that it is a vibration. That energy is a mirror image of other things in the world. Therefore, like attracts like. This is known as the law of attraction and manifesting. Knowing this, you would specifically project all things loving and know that love will come back. However, you project unloving and wonder why you receive it back.

When you are mindful of your vibration, that is when you can manifest your heart’s desires. Let’s give an example so you can practise this at home every day or even better, teach your children so they live an empowered life.

When you are feeling down, miserable, jealous, unsatisfied… things like that, I want you to take a deep breath. Stand tall. Take another deep breath. Make sure to have a smile on your face like a huge grin from ear to ear.

Take another deep breath. Now check in to yourself. You cannot remain in that unloving or negative feeling or vibration when you take action to change your vibration. The body consciousness and chemical reaction of your body will not allow it. In fact, it is almost impossible to stay in that negative vibration. Unless you choose to go back there. Breathing is your lungs releasing grief. Your body posture aligns with the sacred lines of the Earth, that align to peace, harmony and love. And the smile triggers a chemical reaction in your face and body to release hormones that make you feel YUMMY inside… you know, that loving feeling.

Now that you have a simple quick and effective tool, it’s time to understand how you are me and I am you.

Projecting your love out and knowing that there is only love to come back, allows you to know in your heart and mind that the quantum law only gives a mirror image back. You give, you will be given. And, are you ready to receive?

The actions above are about changing your vibration to AMAZING. Make it habit every day to be aware

of what you are feeling and what you are thinking, as the universe will gift back to you what you vibrate. Give fear, receive fear. Give love, receive love. Everything is a mirror image of each other. Mind your own vibration and focus on you, not others.

What blocks you from

being the real you?

I

believe that the path of raising our own vibration is primarily by doing our inner deep work that blocks us from connecting with and being our true self. This means that we must come in to connection with those uncomfortable experiences, emotions, and mindsets and lower vibrations frequencies – not by-passing them or pretending they don’t exist. Instead, we can recognise them, allow them, dance with them, and learn from them so that our hearts can be opened and we then can allow our true essence to come through!

So how do we do that? Become real? What is being real? Who are you and how can you be more responsible and empowered for your own vibration and therefore your life? I have listed below some questions that may get you started in becoming real.

In no particular order – in fact – these occur often simultaneously: “THE 7 STAGES OF BECOMING REAL” 1. Connecting with vulnerability Connecting within and feeling your

feelings (observing inner responses).

How do I feel? Where am I? Am I connected? What am I aligned to?

2. Being in the moment Connection and overcoming the fear of vulnerability. Am I able to truly connect with my true self and others?

What fears – judgments, emotional or mental blocks are in the way?

3. Identifying repeating patterns Retrieving lost soul parts and renouncing energetic binds and karmic ties. Are there energetic ties and binds to people, ancestors, places or beliefs that are holding you back? What have you lost/given away or what was taken away in this lifetime or previous lifetimes?

4. Self-awareness Identifying hidden traumas, fears, attachments, addictions and coping mechanisms. What are your hidden fears and secret ego pay-offs? What are my ego-pains, patterns, cycles and spirals?

5. Reintegrating truth Seeing your purpose; seeing a

purpose; acceptance and surrender; seeing things the way they are. Can I accept truth? Am I living my fullest potential? How can my journey and my wounds, pains, challenges and blocks not only move and inspire me towards peace and purpose but be the catalyst behind it.

6. Remembering who I truly am Re-aligning yourself to your truest needs and heart’s desires. What is my true nature? What do I truly want? How am I connecting with myself and others?

Who am I? What do I need? What could it all be for? How can my journey – experiences, hardships, lessons be part of my soul’s mission or objectives?

7. Applying trust and allowing selfhealing Allowing our higher power to reveal what needs to be revealed – and to heal what needs to be healed. What needs to be transcended? Where am I not congruent? Is my life in harmony? Can I let in joy?

Are you in

harmony with yourself?

A

s a teenager, I learned to play a cornet (a short trumpet) in our local brass band. I was part of a big inclusive musical family and I found it to be a wonderful experience. After a few years, I was asked to play a tuba instead, the largest and lowest-pitched brass instrument. While I loved my musical tribe, I didn’t feel I belonged with the tuba players, booming out the low bass notes. My place was with the other cornet players, in the higher musical register, harmonising with the melody.

Each of us is like a musical instrument with a unique set of energy signatures (or frequencies) that are authentically ours and contribute to our individuality. There are people we relate to, activities and hobbies we resonate with, different types of sports and exercise that we gravitate towards.

Each of us is different, just as a cornet is different to a tuba.

I often find that the energetic blocks that prevent my clients from moving forward, don’t actually belong to them.

This is more common than you may think. Many people have taken on dreams and goals that others want for them; dreams and goals that don’t match them energetically. That is like trying to be a tuba when you are really a cornet!

These people have been ‘overlaid’ with the belief systems, thoughts and feelings of others. This creates disharmony (or energetic dissonance) for my clients that can lead to ill health, anxiety, depression, chronic fatigue and other physical imbalances.

Take the time to tune into who you are and start to differentiate between your energy and the energy of others.

When you feel a negative emotion – like fear, anger, resentment or frustration – ask yourself if the negative emotion is yours or does it belong to someone else?

What do you believe? What are your thoughts, feelings and emotions?

They may be very different to the beliefs, thoughts, feelings and emotions of your parents, work colleagues and friends. And that is OK! We can’t all be cornets. And we can’t all be tubas.

Are you in harmony with yourself?

What gives you peace? What makes you happy? What is YOUR groove?

Shakespeare understood the importance of living in harmony with yourself when he said, “This above all: to thine own self be true”.

If your life feels out of balance, maybe you are trying to live out the dreams of someone else instead of living in harmony with your own dreams. If that doesn’t feel good for you, change it.

A

is not just about being

t the precise moment of conception, when the ova and the sperm meet, a cosmic blueprint and a divine unique frequency are sealed into that one cell. This cell goes through a mystical process of multiplying itself to create and form the physicality of the human body which will house the flame of our uniqueness.

This is our truth or essence.

However, part of our cosmic blueprint, once we are physical, is to experience many events, experiences, to remember who we are and why we are on this planet. Sometimes they are fabulous and sometimes they are horrific, and we search our hearts to understand the reasoning, attempting to find peace somehow with things happening out of our control.

Our lives are shaped by an infinite number of external sources, yet our frequency is strong, it is the part of us that asks for the courage to be who we are. Our beliefs, habits and patterns are not what our frequency is, but are things

that separate us from that divinity, by creating limitations and restrictions.

All we can do once we awaken, or become aware, is to look after ourselves. Raising our vibration is not just about positive thinking, it is also largely about taking care of our physicality. The more we do the things that lift our spirits, elevate our energy, ground us into this world, the higher our vibration. Our body holds the vibration at the cellular level, so taking extraordinarily good care of our needs, on all levels of self, what we consume, inhale, how we move, being in nature, or finding solace in still moments, all support the vibration of our personal frequency.

Our soul frequency is a constant pulse, not replicated anywhere else in the universe. A signal and navigational wisdom that keeps nudging us towards our why, our reason we agreed to be on this planet. The idea of playing in the ethers is fun, however, the real work is to be that wisdom or experience in

your everyday life, your physical self.

Our vibration is the speed at which our frequency is moving. When it is high and fast, just like space, we feel open, when it is heavy or dense, we feel lethargic, slow and perhaps unmotivated.

Having a low vibration day or two is not a crime!!!

They can be wonderful moments to reconnect you to what is happening, perhaps going deeper into what is required for change, even for deep rest.

We all need to appreciate our vibration, and how we manage it responsibly.

It always comes back to you, knowing who you are, knowing what aligns and works for you, knowing what elevates and lightens you up, but also respecting that we have down times, we have low vibe days. am sure this is not a question that has been posed to you recently.

Many of us are already aware that we are energetic beings and we are either drawn towards or repelled by certain individuals, depending on the energy we feel when they either enter or leave the room.

Do you realise that the vibration you put out to the universe regarding your own personal self-esteem, value and worth, comes back to you in kind?

That negative chatter in our head often wins, confirming that we are not worthy of success, abundance, health and happiness.

If you have a negative attitude towards wealth and money, it is likely that you are setting yourself up for failure. As we know, the universe endeavours to bring to us what we believe we need, or are worthy of receiving.

In my business, I have seen countless people over the years, say to me within the first five minutes of their

financial planning meeting that “I am hopeless with money”. As we delve further into their situation, it confirms their belief, and negative vibrations have materialised exactly what they are voicing and reiterating each day of their lives (the vibration of lack and scarcity).

However, in coming to see me, they have taken the first big step to make a change and walk in the direction of their dreams. They changed their beliefs and vibrations about what they deserve and with these changes, we have been able to get them on a new journey.

Awareness is a magical thing.

Once we decide to take ownership of our decisions and put out a positive vibration towards receiving abundance, the doors begin to open. On a deeper level, we also need to decide that we are worthy of receiving all the wonderful things life can bring.

One of my favourite mentors from an early age was Louise Hay (author of many books such as ‘You Can Heal Your Life’). Imagine standing with your feet firmly on the ground, arms spread

wide above your head and saying to the universe “I have an abundance of health, wealth, love and happiness and I accept it now”. This was one of her many powerful messages.

As I write these words today, I have been working on my business plan and projections for Goals & Dreams Financial Planning for this new financial year. To be honest, I am feeling a tad overwhelmed and a little tired, as life has been very ‘FULL’ lately. However, I picked myself up quickly and realised that I certainly don’t want to be putting that lower energy or vibration into my plans for myself and my business.

Please be kind to yourself and be mindful to value your own vibration!

t is after a winter morning surf that we can feel re-energised from being in the sunshine and the ocean.

Interestingly enough, as a clinician, I see vitamin D deficiency or suboptimal levels in my patients all the time, despite many of us living on the Sunshine Coast.

In winter many of us experience ‘Seasonal Affective Disorder’, due to colder, shorter days and lower exposure to sunlight. This is a type of depression related to changes in season, and one of the ways of treating it is with phototherapy.

Reduced sunlight can cause a drop in serotonin that may trigger depression.

I think we are fortunate enough to live in a beautiful part of the world where

we can get natural sunlight. So we don’t need to buy a special light box to get the benefits of it. Expose yourself to the bright sunlight in the morning within the first hour of waking up.

It is so common for my patients with depression and anxiety to spend their week without seeing the sunshine.

People are too busy getting up in the dark, going to work and spending the whole day in the office, before going back home in the late afternoon. I have to remind them of the importance of sun exposure (obviously without getting burnt). It is the exposure of 7 dehydrocholesterol in the skin to the UVB radiation from the sun that produces vitamin D. Low vitamin D has been linked to increased risk of many

chronic diseases like: autoimmune diseases, cardiovascular disease and some cancers. This vitamin is essential for regulation of calcium and phosphate metabolism. Common problems like osteoporosis and osteopenia, I believe are due to lack of vitamin D. And as to the correct amount of exposure and time spent in the sun, will depend on where you live, the time of the year and colour of your skin. The darker you are, the longer you need to be in the sun.

Biologically, people living closer to the equator have darker skin to protect them from the UV radiation. Don’t forget this vibrating energy from the sun as it is one of the essential factors for optimal health. www.ibukihealth.com

Death is something that is completely and utterly out of our control. We are all going to die at some point, as much as we resist it and see it as something bad or horrific, death is going to creep up on us and take away any control we think we have over our outer life circumstances.

There I was, all alone in this world when mum passed, a bold rambunctious and scared teenager with low selfesteem, trying to figure out who I was and where I fitted in this world. I was also trying to navigate finding a job to pay the bills and a new place to live, as the death duties had us sell the family home to pay the tax.

They were tough times, but some of the most exciting life transforming experiences. I was always filled with questions as a child, and when I hit the teenage years, my questions became totally self-absorbed. But when mum died, the questions turned to: WHY? Why did she get sick? How can I not repeat her life and get sick too?

Where did she go? And if she did go somewhere, was it the same place she came from, and where is that place? I wonder if she is still sick there, where

ever this place is. How do I connect with it? Can I talk with her again? And on and on they went, questions, questions, pouring out of my mind, pressing me to look for the answers.

My mother tried so hard to answer my questions from her home on the spirit side. She came to me in dreams telling me she wasn’t dead. But my limited awareness that didn’t understand the reality of an afterlife, or that we live on in multiple realities and dimensions, didn’t understand her messages. So I interpreted these dreams through the limitations of my mind as nightmares, seeing mum in odd places, and when she told me she didn’t die, I would get really upset thinking she had staged her death and left us to fend for ourselves in a harsh world. But none of this was true.

As I searched for answers to my burning questions, I found books and teachers who opened up my socially conditioned mind, allowing me to access other dimensions and realms of bliss.

Today I work as a spiritual channel with access to many levels of consciousness, able to reconnect with loved ones who have passed, spiritual guides and masters who are teaching and guiding humanity from our broader perspective in the spirit world, as we change gears on this journey of physical life.

After many of my burning questions

were answered, I felt the need to teach others what I had come to remember about my ability to co-create and manifest my world with my spiritual nonphysical team. So I went on radio to talk about deliberate creation and ‘Law of Attraction’.

You see, when we die, we absolutely know we are the creators of our reality.

For in many of the other realms of existence beyond this planet, time is not a consequence, and so we see our thoughts manifest instantaneously. Many people who have passed over have told me, “All I have to do is think about someone and then I am right there, next to them instantly.”

I must point out that the negative emotions and beliefs we have in this world cannot exist in many of the realms beyond this one. I have spoken with many people who have had near death experiences who said, when they left their bodies, they instantly felt feelings of comfort, bliss, connection to everyone and everything.

Feelings of euphoria, unconditional love and expansion. Some have said, in this place we call the afterlife, they felt they had access to all knowing infinite intelligence. You would only have to pose a question and you would be enlightened with the answer instantly.

After over 20 years showcasing spiritual teachers, seeing clients and nine years of sharing people’s stories and

spreading the teachings of deliberate creation through my shows, I’ve noticed when I post a show about near death experiences, it gets the most interest by far, on all my platforms. This tells me there are many people wanting to understand death better. Like me, people are asking questions about where we go when we die, who we were before we came here and what is possible when we communicate with our non-physical friends and counterparts.

Is it grief that makes us seek, or fear of dying? Is it curiosity, wanting to expand our perspective of who we are and what is possible for us, when we remember where we come from. And how do our powers of manifestation work in this physical world?

The most important message I receive from people, or beings, who live beyond this world is: Remember who you are as a powerful genius creator of your reality, your thoughts are important and your feelings indicate what you are believing to be true. Remember you are not limited to this life alone, for you are a multidimensional soul existing in many realms simultaneously, who has the universe at your beck and call.

deeper aspect of pain

o you wake up every morning feeling aches and pains within your body?

Most of us believe that the pain we feel is due to inflammation, and you would be right, on a physical level there is inflammation. Maybe it’s tight muscles, a bed you slept on incorrectly or pain you have had for so long you can’t even remember where it came from.

We often don’t look at the deeper element of pain because we see it as just a physical manifestation rather than an emotional one. In my many years of practice as a homeopath and now as a craniosacral practitioner, I can honestly say that pain is often, if not

always associated with emotional pain such as grief, not letting go, holding on, stress, anxiety and anger. When we hold on to something emotionally, we manifest a physical disturbance within our body. This disturbance can come up as inflammation causing backache, neck pain and migraines.

We don’t always know where the emotions originate, which is why guidance is something required, either through meditation or with a practitioner like myself.

Craniosacral therapy and reiki combined, use a light touch, soft techniques and reiki energy across the whole body to loosen the muscles, restriction and fascia of the spinal cord

and cranium. This helps to unlock the emotions that might be trapped in the spaces, allowing you to let them go.

It will only unlock what you are ready to see and let go of, it allows you the space for healing and self-correction.

t’s uncanny how the unconscious vibrations we cultivate internally manifest externally in our reality, our wellbeing, and the patterns, symbols and archetypes that come to us as part of the cosmic dance of life. I never thought I would be a mother – it was not something I consciously thought would be part of my journey – not really my vibe…

Growing up, I excelled in academics, sports and arts with many awards and accomplishments. My sense of ambition has always been limitless, but it was not my ambition to have children. Now becoming a mother, I realise how empowering it can be and a worthy ambition too. It’s completely transformed and grounded me, and given me great strength and power in a way I never expected.

Honouring the power of my femininity through embracing motherhood as part of my journey and part of my unique authentic vibration,

feels like one of the most courageous things I’ve ever done. Because you have to be vulnerable and be seen by others, especially those closest to you, and as a woman who’s always had a very strong masculine side, owning my vulnerability and femininity has never really been easy.

My son Teilo Ayua was born in the hospital with a number of undesired occurrences because I was so far embedded in the unconscious attention on my fears. It wasn’t a traumatic birth, but it was incredible how all the things that I was so fixated on not happening, all happened. I learnt so much about the power of the unconscious mind to manifest. For my daughter Livia Nimué, I became really mindful about the vibe I chose to create. I knew I had to have the baby at home because the process of moving away from our lovely safe nest to the hospital during Teilo’s birth was absolutely stress-inducing and completely changed the vibe of

the whole experience dramatically.

Although I had instinctually desired a home birth, for some reason I chose not to listen to that innate intuition.

Livia’s birth unfolded as a beautiful free birth at home in our sacred intimate space before our midwife even arrived! Because my partner and I had consciously created a powerful intention to manifest a loving positive birth experience standing in the authenticity and alignment of that choice, knowing it was the right vibe for us. Through practising regular meditation, deep awareness and focused relaxation, I was able to birth our daughter without fear and anxiety, with excitement, openness and joy. A

s a newborn baby you came into the world with abilities to prepare you for life. This included your senses. Your five senses allowed you to be present in the world around you. These five senses are sound, sight, smell, touch and taste.

You were also born with a natural survival instinct which included knowing and intuition.

Science, and more especially neuroscience, believe that the pineal gland located deep within your brain (directly under the crown chakra and in line with the 3rd eye) is your knowing and intuition, in fact scientists like Dr Bruce Lipton believe that you have a small crystal in the pineal gland. From my work and understanding, I do believe that this gift – the gift of intuition has been lost in most western societies based on beliefs that are now being overturned by science.

We all know that children, young

children particularly, are like small animals who will retract from people should they feel unsafe or insecure.

Many parents believed that their child’s imaginary friends and knowing were just their wild imagination, however, neuro-science believes that the pineal gland is working. Unfortunately, most of us have lost the gift of intuition as we were constantly and consistently told that we were just imagining things; as such we stop believing our intuition.

I am sure that you have had the experience of knowing someone was watching you or talking about you – you could just ‘sense’ it – you couldn’t see or hear them but you most certainly knew on a deep level that something was going on, or you may have walked into a room where everyone is smiling, yet you sense an undertone of anger.

All of us, I am sure, have watched documentaries about the animal kingdom, when we can see intuition in

action. The example I use is that of a startled deer or wild animal, who picks up its ears and looks around because they ‘sense’ danger – quite often, they ignore this sense too and go back to grazing, to their detriment.

the emotional response, created by these negative thoughts and beliefs, your vibration comes down and life begins to feel like one problem after another.

One of the most common solutions out there to combat negative thoughts is to try and replace them with positive ones. These are called positive affirmations and they have been popular for many years. You may have found yourself trying to counteract negative thoughts through the constant repetition of positive affirmations.

For example, “I am healthy, I am wealthy, I am worthy of love.” Yet, my question to you is… have those positive affirmations worked to create a life that you love? Not quite, right? In fact, positive affirmations themselves can limit you vibrationally.

How could this be? While wellintended… to explain why affirmations are the culprits foiling your attempts at manifestation, we have to look at what is happening vibrationally.

If you are trying to use positive affirmations to make yourself healthy, wealthy, or loved, then what is the underlying belief prompting you to perform them in the first place? That you are unhealthy, not wealthy, and unworthy of love.

Einstein said it best: “We cannot solve our problems with the same

thinking we used when we created them.”

You may be thinking, “Alright, then what is the secret formula to manifesting what my heart truly desires!?” The answer is simple: alignment with universal truth.

When something is true, it exists beyond beliefs and remains true for everything and everyone. Through my discoveries, I have found that there are six principles through which all energy functions in order to sustain and support life. These principles can be used in your life to embrace what is actually true, so that you can stop creating from the illusion of self-imposed belief, and instead create within the flow of how energy (the universe) actually functions.

The first principle is: everything is, everyone is, and I am the infinite love of source, the infinite loving energy of source, and infinitely loved by source.

When I say the word “Love,” I mean: energy, source, oneness, the universe, spirit, God, the creator, or life force energy. They are all one and the same.

When you align with this truth, your once-projected unstable belief of “I am loved,” or really, “I am trying to believe I am loved,” becomes the stable unwavering truth that you are, in fact, already made of source love. There is no belief required.

Quantum physics tells us that we are already one with the unified field, which we now know as source energy or love.

This is not personal; it is the way that it is for you, everyone, and everything.

So, instead of endlessly trying to make an affirmation true that you believe is not true, try saying this aloud and feel how it shifts your vibration…

“The truth is; everything is, everyone is, and I am the infinite love of source, the infinite loving energy of source, and infinitely loved by source. It’s not personal; it’s just the way it is. It’s the way energy is hardwired to support and sustain itself. I am so grateful that this is what is, what has always been, and what will always be.”

A

s a young contractor, on big engineering projects, I was faced with many challenges. On the first day of one such project, I was confronted by a manager that was aggressive and angry towards everyone.

It didn’t matter who approached him, or in what way, he was wild. I went home shocked, and to be honest, a little scared. As I reflected on the situation, I realised that there was really only two choices here. I could react and go to war with this person, calling out his behaviour and creating an enemy image of him, or I could choose a different frequency and not join his broadcast.

The next day I went into work and walked up to this person with empathy in my heart and mind.

I couldn’t imagine what he was dealing with in his life and wondered what it must be like to have his stress and worry. I said to him that if there was any way I could help him, I was there.

Even if it was to simply listen, I wanted him to know that he wasn’t alone. I would support him the best I could.

Right there in that moment, this powerful angry man broke down and cried. He shared some of the things in his life that were so difficult and challenging and I realised he was only human. I continued to work in this organisation for many years and over time, this man became my greatest advocate.

I learnt that even if others’ behaviour is challenging, you do have a choice how you respond. It is possible to turn around any situation if you resonate on a frequency of compassion.

We are all projecting energy into the world and this energy attracts the quality of our relationships, experiences and even our level of health.

Life is like tuning in to a radio

station, we need to be on the correct frequency if we want to listen to the desired program. Like a radio, we work in the same way.

Sitting through a continual re-run of our previous drama series is not really the best entertainment.

Or worse still, we completely come up blank and only experience disconnection.

Upgrading our thoughts and vibrating on a compassionate frequency, will give us the happy life we all desire.

Make a clear choice not to engage with negative thoughts, rather, let them blow over like clouds moving across a clear sky.

strology is the foundation for a window of time where we are influenced by vibrational energy personally, through each planet and star giving insight into the process from which we formed. As we move through these vibrational phases, we experience challenges and inspirations.

The scientific explanation for this, is that our brains contain millions of magnetic particles affected by the quantum field and the magnetic fields of Earth. Centuries ago the lunar calendar was adopted. The days of the week were named after seven planets, each with different qualities: Sunday – Sun, Consciousness; a Creator Monday – Moon, Healing; a Healer Tuesday – Mars, Virtue; a Navigator Wednesday – Mercury, Communication; a Messenger Thursday – Jupiter, Expansion; a Teacher Friday – Venus, Love; a Lover Saturday – Saturn, Liberty; a Soldier Their descriptions are said to represent universal qualities arising from

the creative vibrations of the universe that are in every individual.

With this direct connection, we can engage the qualities as part of our own identity. Disengagement suggests a lack of identity, resulting in ways which we seek fundamental understanding of ourselves in unhealthy ways like addictions to connect with the ‘high’ of universal energy.

Universal qualities help to reorganise the components of ourselves taking place in the chaos, because they build on something that already exists; the truth of who we really are.

As we begin to engage and experience the qualities, our real identity will begin to make sense.

Everything in our lives is always changing; our desires, interests, skills, body shapes; but universal qualities are persistent, touching our lives in different ways. They are unchanging in keeping us whole, when life is trying to take us apart. When everything may be falling down, when we feel totally alone, the qualities the universe has been built upon are right there; offering hope.

Living consciously FEELS wonderful. Healing by processing emotions is an awe-inspiring way to live. I have felt in the depths of despair, more alive than ever before.

I have released energy within me by processing emotions. Virtue; becoming empowered feels wonderful. Expressing truthful communication feels wonderful.

As I take responsibility for my words and actions, it is not about anyone else. The person on the receiving end is not projected on; my world is a peaceful place. What I am saying is heard in neutrality, not attack.

Expansion; growing beyond my selfimposed limitations feels wonderful, loving myself unconditionally so that I may love others unconditionally is such a gift to bring to the world. And liberty; breaking out of self-imposed life sentences feels wonderful. It’s all inside us, stopped by identifying with a false self. was aware that something special was unfolding late in 2017 when I began to receive some channelled writing. ost people are aware of energy, they just don’t have an explanation about the ‘how or why’. I was once having a conversation with someone who said, “I do not believe in energy”. I asked them, “would you buy a house if you knew someone had been murdered in there?”

They were like, “No”… I said, “I thought you do not believe in energy…”

I learned how to manage my energy from my grandmother. She was very connected of the energetic vibration of others and how it affected her. In her language she could tell others in one word or sound, “You are draining my energy”. In Meru language in Kenya, self-expression is self-sovereignty.

You are allowed to share what you feel – which is different to telling others of their intentions. For example, when someone says something to you and

it’s not adding up, you could say, “you are lying” but most people will deny it.

Instead, this is how grandmother would put it: “nogontakia”. In one word she had said, “my being does not resonate with your words”. Other times she would say “ontige” which means, “you have overstepped my boundary”.

One day I walked to a shop and the lady there was very unhelpful. I noticed I was feeling good walking into the shop, and then I felt ‘urgh’. I identified the source. I turned to her and said, “would you prefer I come back when someone who is more helpful is working here?” By the look on her face I knew I had my power back. She came around finally and I walked out of the shop with my head held high and my energy intact!

Every time you give away your power, you will lose your energy.

Sometimes you have to speak up and

most importantly teach people how to treat you.

Now I have learned to be aware when I interact with others: when was I feeling good and what happened that now I am not feeling so good anymore?

Thinking about it another way, somewhere along the way, someone gives you their ‘stuff’ to carry and you are feeling heavy because it was not yours to begin with. To give it back is an art. You need to be in tune with your greater self, through your intuition. It will guide you on what to say so that the person will understand. And never from ego.

The

vibrational essence of the cannabis plant

– a gift to humanity from God

I

n recent years, the vibrational frequency of plants and the essential oils of plants has been widely studied.

For example it has been found that myrrh essential oil has a vibrational frequency of 105 MHz. A simple search of Google and you will discover the array of data on this subject. So, it is little wonder the Bible used some of the finest essential oils, including cannabis, for spiritual needs. This wasn’t just a means of a fragrant reminder of God’s creation, but a vibrational journey into the very essence of the Christ Consciousness.

The first solid evidence of the Hebrew use of cannabis was established in 1936 by Sula Benet, a little known Polish etymologist from the Institute of Anthropological Sciences in Warsaw.

The word cannabis was generally thought to be of Scythian origin, but Benet showed that it has a much earlier origin in Semitic languages like Hebrew, and that it appears several times throughout the Old Testament.

Benet explained that, “in the original Hebrew text of the Old Testament there are references to hemp, both as incense, which was an integral part of religious celebration, and as an intoxicant.”

Benet demonstrated that the word for cannabis is Kaneh-Bosm, also rendered in traditional Hebrew as kaneh or Kannabus. The root Kan in this construction means ‘reed’ or ‘hemp’, while bosm means ‘aromatic’.

This word appears five times in the Old Testament; in the books of Exodus, the Song of Songs, Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel.

’ve always been one to push positivity and morale in all aspects of my life: the workplace, my home, my family, my friends, everywhere!

Having a positive outlook on your life and situation will dramatically change your direction and headspace.

One of my favourite sayings is, “you reap what you sow.” If you put positivity and light out into the world, you’re bound to receive it back. Alternatively, if you’re sending out bad vibrations, that’s what you’ll receive in return.

Everyone experiences setbacks. But don’t believe the dark thoughts you tell

yourself late at night! Get back up and dust yourself off. The quicker you learn to do so, the better! You are worthy.

Find a way to inject positivity into your life. Volunteer at a local animal shelter.

Catch up with a friend you haven’t seen in years. Get creative and redecorate your home. Send your loved ones some flowers. Positivity breeds positivity.

Be aware of your vibes, but also be aware of who you surround yourself with. Your vibe attracts your tribe and your tribe creates your vibe – avoid toxic people like the plague! If someone is impacting on your positivity, that’s

your gut telling you to run. When people are impeding your happiness in life, they have to go. Surround yourself with people that feel like sunshine. Bake in them. The rest will soon follow.

Remember that you’re in charge of your own happiness. Optimism is infectious. Send out positive vibes and light! Stop giving time to those who want to create negativity. ur body is self-healing and selfregulating, our cells constantly renewing. For this to occur correctly, our cells need the right environment and the right nutrients.

The two primary ingredients are sufficient oxygen and electrical charge to maintain the ability to make new cells that work. Cells are designed to run at a pH of 7.35-7.45. pH is the measurement of voltage in a liquid, so another way of putting it is they need 20 to 25 millivolts to run efficiently and 50 millivolts to renew.

All chronic disease can then be characterised by having inadequate voltage, the body losing the energy to make healthy new cells.

There are several ways we can increase our cellular voltage, one is to simply walk barefoot upon the earth.

Lightning discharges negative ions into the earth. Negative ions are oxygen atoms that have gained extra negatively-charged electrons and are

abundant in nature, especially around moving water and after a storm.

Conversely, positive ions have lost one or more electrons and have a draining effect upon our energy resources and vitality. Everyday items that emit a positive charge include mobile phones, computers, televisions, WIFI, pollution and dry static winds.

To neutralise a positive charge, we can walk barefoot upon the earth, which creates a closed circuit, in effect becoming grounded. Wearing shoes insulates us from this unlimited free source of energy and on a purely structural level, restricts free movement in our feet and body.

Each foot is made up of 26 bones and 33 joints. Wearing shoes prevents the articulation of the joints and pushes the bones into an unnatural shape that eventually becomes too painful to not wear shoes. The feet become oversensitive and set up a ‘cringe’ posture, over time, limiting free fluid muscle and joint articulation. If nothing

changes, the body dries and shrinks, in effect becoming positively charged.

hink about how you feel when someone at work gives you a compliment… How easy do you receive this?

Do you laugh awkwardly while immediately looking for an ulterior motive the other person may have?

How much is that about wearing ‘energetic armouring’ to protect yourself? Unfortunately, being unable to receive, also invalidates the person who gave you the compliment?

But it’s not just about being able to receive compliments! We can have all sorts of other cryptic ways we can keep the ‘armouring’ strapped on. Are you someone who gives and gives and gives? How much room is there in your world for receiving from others?

Do you ever really allow yourself to be vulnerable to receive love, kindness, assistance and all sorts of other things from people? If this is you, please remind yourself, that martyrdom

doesn’t prove how much you care about people by suffering and being self-sacrificing. Now, you may disagree while retorting, “It’s in giving, that you receive” but have you included yourself in that? How much do you give to yourself?

So here are some ideas of how to open yourself up to receive: 1. Each day find 5 things that you acknowledge and value about yourself.

Not just achievements but personal qualities like: kindness, patience, integrity, determination (qualities that are often not acknowledged in our society). Remember actual examples where you expressed these qualities.

If 5 seems like too much, start with one thing a day and then build up from there. Consistency is the key.

2. Keep a journal and start to get in touch with beliefs you have about receiving from other people and situations. Did people let you down in

the past? If so, did you develop a belief that people couldn’t really be counted on for support? Do you want to feel superior or in control in some way by never having to receive from anyone?

3. Regular body work or energy work helps to dissolve the ‘armouring’ so you can receive more.

4. Take a few minutes to do some slow diaphragmatic breathing, taking time to breathe out slowly. Ask for the Earth to contribute to you and breathe that energy through every cell in your body.

Receiving is not about taking, being selfish or disregarding other people. What if you could receive from all situations and people without judging? Being able to receive more may also reduce resentments that have been festering for years, reduce stress and burnout and invite more joy, connection, money and fulfilment. And, we can all learn to receive more!

L

ike many people who are dedicated to living a spirituallybased life, I made the most common of mistakes in having the knowledge, yet not truly applying it in my own life.

That all changed in an instant when the universe gave me a wake-up call, sending adversity, with all it’s wisdom, knocking on my door. Every difficulty in life presents us with an opportunity to turn inward and grow as individuals.

Adversity sent me home to my most authentic self. Through finding blessings in the adversity I faced, I fell into a deep sense of peace in the form of love, forgiveness, and gratitude.

In 2014, at the age of 53, my marriage of 30 years came to an end via text message. By 2016 I’d been diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer. A year later, my ex- had passed away five weeks after his own diagnosis with lung cancer.

When my marriage broke down, I looked back to where early influences shaped my beliefs about myself and

caused me to attract relationships that re-enforced my belief about never being enough, and had me clinging to a deepseated fear of abandonment. I learnt to ‘let go’ of the past and began the journey towards self-love.

When I understood what was driving the dysfunction in my marriage, forgiveness, which I had struggled with for the longest time, seemed to become irrelevant.

I began to explore my values and set boundaries. Developing self-worth has given me the courage to stand by those boundaries. Life is much more joyous now that I feel deserving of happiness, love, and success, unencumbered by fear of judgment from others.

Through my cancer I discovered just how truly resilient I am. I had wasted too much time comparing myself to others and feeling ‘less than’. Now I embrace vulnerability and run head first into my dreams.

I began a daily practice of deep heartfelt gratitude. Gratitude taught me how to walk ‘consciously’ through my

life for the first time. No matter what’s missing from my life, gratitude makes my life feel like it’s overflowing with gifts.

Because of cancer, I let go the toxic friends I’d hung onto out of fear of being alone. When I did this, the door opened wide and a flood of friends came through who aligned with the new self-loving vibration I was emitting.

And finally, I forgave myself for holding on to anger and resentment for so long that I created this dis-ease in my own body.

Through my husband’s cancer, I learnt the true meaning of unconditional love, while caring for the man who I once felt had abandoned me. It was, beyond doubt, the most rewarding of experiences.

I

recently had a couple of people come into my life who have had a profound impact on me. I felt like a victim during my interactions with these people.

This started a process of reflection and growth for me. I thought I was good at paying attention to my thoughts.

However, these experiences had me paying more attention to my mind.

I became aware of how often my thoughts are like a ‘hair shirt’. I have an uncomfortable thought and I keep dwelling on it, like it is a precious item of which I am unwilling to let go.

After wallowing in that space for a period of time, I remembered that I always have choice. What story did I wish to tell myself and others about myself? What did I wish to vibrate out into the world? If I wished to vibrate at victim, then I would only attract more of that experience. To see something different in my life, I was going to have to start telling myself a different story about who I be and believe in this new story before seeing physical evidence of the changes.

I don’t enjoy clutter.

For a while now I have been complaining about how cluttered my house is. Sometimes this was out loud, but more often it was silently. It occupied a lot of my thoughts and allowed me to portray myself as this poor little victim with a cluttered house. Did any of this lead to my house being less cluttered? No, of course it didn’t.

In order to get a different vibration happening, I have started to focus on what I like about my house. I started giving gratitude that I have a roof over my head. I expressed out loud how thankful I am that I can watch a movie on TV and have one, or more, of the dogs snuggled up to me. I also started to change some of the furniture around to give a different perspective. Sometimes I will burn candles and incense, so that the house smells nice.

The house is a work in progress and part of my journey. These processes help me to feel more joyful about the house.

ratitude. Arguably the greatest catalyst for joy and transformation that is readily available to us. But… I have a confession to make… The popular gratitude movement is something that I have long struggled with. Don’t get me wrong, I understand its value and importance, but as a truth seeker, I have questioned the validity of a construct that demands attention based on a particular philosophy or world view.

However, they say what you resist persists, and there is no doubt that the question of gratitude has raised its head repeatedly for me this year. I’m listening! Indeed, I am surrounded by beautiful friends who are committed to the practice.

Gratitude posts, challenges, Facebook groups, and journalling abound. Perhaps it is because I grew up being told I was an “ungrateful wretch”,

I did not believe this to be the case and found that the notion of being ‘grateful’ as something that was imposed on another or expected, rather than truly felt. Even so, most of the time I feel thankful and appreciative!

As I’ve pondered the topic of gratitude for this month’s column, I have realised that it comes in various forms. Being grateful for something that we have received such as a gift or a service provided to us. Being grateful for abundance in all its forms; clients, money, food on the table, rain filling our water tanks. Being grateful for all that we have now or in the future, seen and unseen, a grateful faith if you will.

Nevertheless, being grateful regardless of whether things are good or bad, and being in a state of gratitude no matter our circumstances seem to be where the blessings of gratitude are truly found. I have been privileged to witness

countless stories of people who have overcome illness, tragedy, and trauma, yet have maintained a grateful heart, even though their journey has not been easy. The ability to reframe events regardless of their magnitude appears to play a significant part. I send out so much love to these beings of light. They help change our world and the way that we view it. It is no wonder that healers and helpers, and the processes they use and teach that can assist in helping individuals to transform into a more joy- and love-filled state of grace and gratitude, have such a role to play and will leave a grand legacy for generations to come. To those, I say thank you.

So as this column comes to a close, know that I will go forward this month with an open and a grateful heart, and see what unexpected blessings that may bring. I hope you can too.
