Donna Eden, world-renowned healer and the founder of Eden Energy Medicine, has seen energy all her life, as did her mother and two siblings. Discussions about the light and colours they saw around a person were an everyday part of Donna’s life growing up.

Donna was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) in her early teens, and by her late 20s, it had progressed to life-threatening proportions. Her organs started to break down, and she suffered a heart attack at 27. By the time Donna was approaching her 30s, five different medical specialists had advised her to “get her affairs in order”. Donna had two small daughters, and was intent on raising them herself and determined to take her healing into her own hands.

While Donna could see energy, she did not yet understand the connections and flows she saw. Donna began to watch the energy and notice the sensations when she held different positions, postures and movements that seemed to help her symptoms. After two years of experimenting, Donna was able to overcome most of her symptoms, leading eventually to a complete recovery.

Donna became passionate about helping others suffering from illnesses they had not been able to overcome. Donna began to educate herself about natural healing and learned that the energies she was observing were similar to the subtle energies that had been mapped out by ancient cultures. Donna discerned nine different energy systems that may need attention to bring about health and healing. These energy systems form the dynamic, energetic infrastructure for the physical body and are intimately involved with illness and health.

Donna has been symptom-free of MS for more than 40 years and flourishing in a strenuous professional life. She has worked with over 10,000 people, and over 100,000 have attended her live workshops and classes. In 2005, Donna and her husband, David Feinstein, created the Eden Energy Medicine Certification program, now with over 1400 practitioners worldwide. I now offer Level 1: Fundamentals, a year-long deep dive into the foundations of Donna’s work, in Australia.

The Eden Method emphasises self-healing. Students and clients are engaged, educated and empowered by learning tools that cultivate and maintain healthy energy habits and support vibrant health.
