CHRISTMAS 2011 PARTY MENU The Hare and Hounds - A traditional Old English Pub since 1642 with restaurant able to accommodate up to 60 people. Starters Home Made Butternut Squash and Leek Soup Terrine of Pressed Ham Hock, Shallot and Foie gras, with Plum Chutney Oak Smoked Salmon, Crème Fraiche and Pumpernickel Bread Casserole of Duck Liver, Pine Nuts and Mixed Fine Leaves Galia Melon, Lemon ‘Slush’ and Winter Fruits

Main Courses Free Range Turkey with all the Classic Trimmings Fillet of Salmon, Lobster Bisque and Spinach Pithivier of Goats Cheese and Chives, with a Wild Mushroom Risotto Scottish Beef Stew, Honey Root Vegetables and Tarragon Jus Fish Stew with Cod, King Prawns and Scallops

Desserts Christmas Pudding with Brandy Sauce Poached Pear, Toffee Sauce and Vanilla Ice Cream Selection of West Country Cheeses Iced Orange and Vanilla Parfait Black Forest Gâteau Tea or Coffee with Mincemeat Palmiers Christmas Crackers will be provided
