FITTING INSTRUCTION FOR DOOR LEVERS ON 52mm ROUND ROSE – PASSAGE PAIR NOT SUPPLIED WITH LATCH
1 If fitting to a new door drill 12mm hole for spindle in correct position based on lock / latch backset.
2 Insert spindle (C) supplied into latch follower with open groove facing down.
3 Place handles over spindle, ensuring correct handle is used for each side of the door. Check for free action.
4 If handles do not fit flush to door cut an equal amount off each end of the spindle (C), in this event you may also need to cut an appropriate amount off the M4 x 60mm through bolts (D). C A
5 Remove handles. Push off outer rose taking care not to scratch metal body.
6 (a) If fitting tubular latch mark out hole positions vertically above and below spindle at 38mm centres. Drill 6mm holes squarely from both sides to avoid exit splintering.
6 (b) If fitting a mortice latch or lockcase mark out hole positions horizontally either side of

spindle at 38mm centres. Drill 6mm holes squarely from both sides to avoid exit splintering.
7 Place handles onto spindle and fix using M4 x 60mm through bolts (D). Fit self tapping screws into other countersunk holes (E or F depending on door thickness). If mortice case does not have piercings FIXINGS SUPPLIED
for thru bolts use 4 wood screws per lever.

8 Replace outer roses and push on until sitting flush. A D

9 Using allen key (B) provided, tighten grub screw at base of handle body. Retain allen key for
