Manufacturing Programme

Regulators Gas pressure regulators are available in a wide variety of sizes and versions to suit pressures up to 100 Barg. These range from low pressure domestic service regulators, industrial/commercial regulators, large low pressure gas holder control valves to distribution and gas transmission regulators. Several of the regulator types have the option of an integral safety cut-off device and/or in built relief valve, with most having the facility for quick and easy maintenance by use of cartridge type construction, allowing the main regulator to remain in the gas line. Regulators are available in aluminium, cast iron, ductile iron or cast steel and can be supplied direct acting or pilot operated. A comprehensive range of control systems is also available together with a battery powered clocking system to facilitate multiple pressure settings of the regulator.

System Protection Equipment The worldwide gas industry has a most impressive safety record. The Bryan Donkin RMG range of safety devices – comprising slam shut security valves, non-return valves, overpressure relief valves and stream selection valves have been designed to enhance this record. Other equipment to compliment the product range includes a range of filters for installations requiring both inline and angle types.

Gas Pressure Reducing Stations (PRS) Bryan Donkin RMG Gas Controls Limited, has successfully engineered gas pressure reducing stations for over 50 years embodying the extensive range of control equipment manufactured by both the Company and the RMG Group. Skid mounted, pre-packaged pressure reducing and/or metering stations are designed and built to meet individual customer requirements and specifications. Units range from domestic meter boxes to high pressure gas transmission units. These typically include, filter, regulators, isolation valves and as necessary slamshut, safety relief valve and stream discrimination valves. Units are supplied worldwide to a wide range of industries including gas, steel, process, chemical etc. All designs take account of modern practices in the control of gases and incorporate features to provide a unit of high integrity. Factory built units are pre-tested and give users a high level of quality assurance, whilst simplifying on-site installation/commissioning and provide considerable savings in man power.

Below Ground Gas Control Modules Bryan Donkin RMG, manufacture a wide range of specifically designed below ground modules. These designs are completely self-contained, having all the essential elements of a conventional pressure reducing station. They are designed for use on gas distribution systems and industrial applications, where above ground space is restricted or minimum levels of environmental or aesthetic intrusion are required. The below ground range of modules include the Krysalis™, Krysalis16™ and Krysalis19™ these models have all working parts contained within a removable cartridge, which is retained by 6 bolts, together with a removable filter element contained within a separate chamber. All being housed in a ductile iron body which is installed underground into the gas main. The 280 Vector Module™ contains all the elements required for a gas pressure reduction station. The main elements, e.g. the regulator and slamshut, are well established products designed as removable cartridges to simplify maintenance. The Vector Module range also incorporates a separate filter chamber allowing replacement/cleaning of the filter element without removal of the main control cartridge(s). All the control elements are housed in a fabricated steel body. All models have corrosion protection by way of a high integrity glass flake epoxy coating. Above ground is a vent stack, which contains vent pipe for atmospheric reference pressure and relief valve together with the necessary instrumentation and pressure reference points. All units can be supplied as stand alone items or pre-packaged into a skid assembly which will considerably reduce on-site installation time.
