Newsletter Friday, 11th January 2013 Dear Parent, Carer Welcome to the first newsletter of 2013. We hope you all had an enjoyable Christmas Break and are looking forward to the coming year. Students and staff have returned refreshed after the break and the outstanding pace of progress has resumed in our uncompromising drive towards achieving and sustaining our consistently high expectations. We are already celebrating the fantastic results of our current Year 11 in their early entry Maths with 56% attaining A* to C grades. For the first time ever in the history of the school 4 of our students have achieved the A* grade. Students are currently on track to achieve 84% A* - C in Maths and 95% A* - C in English. The Governing Body have agreed unanimously that the school move to consultation to become an Academy and the newsletter this week is dedicated to providing you with details of the process. A letter and explanatory documentation is being posted to all parents this week. Copies will also be available from the school office and can be found on the school website www.nevillelovett.co.uk. We look forward to seeing parents at our consultation evening meetings. Nadine Powrie
