Pre-home in spection s are somet hing t hat some sellers do. T he pur pose is to t r y to eliminate issues t hat could come up when t he buyer brings t heir home in spector to t he proper t y Hav ing a pre-home in spection is not a g uarantee t hat t he buyer’s in spector won’t find any issues.

If your pre-home in spection discovers an issue I would a ssume you would want to repair or replace whatever it happen s to be or possibly not. Underst and however, t hat when a material defect is discovered and t hen you list t he home w it h a Realtor ®, t hat issue must be disclosed to a buyer by

your agent A l so, even t hough you have a pre-home in spection it does not mean t hat t he buyers home in spection w ill be per fect , ot her issues may come up. I commend you for wanting to present t he home in t he best condition possible!
