69th Bra leboro Winter Carnival, 2025

President’s Welcome

Welcome to the 69th Brattleboro Winter Carnival. As Winter Carnival President it has always been my good fortune to share with you some of the highlights of our Carnival Week Festivities that will be taking place both indoors and outdoors. In 2025 we will continue some of our traditional favorites that the committee has o ered over the past 68 years. This includes everything from Sugar-on-Snow, Variety Show, Chili Cook-O , Pancake Breakfast, Indoor Fun Day at BAMS, Sleigh Rides, and much more. We will continue with the new winter fun we brought forward in 2023 with a Glow Light Skate at the Nelson Withington Skating Facility, Family BINGO, the Dodgeball Tournament, and activities sponsored by Brooks Memorial Library, Windham Philharmonic, Brattleboro Food Co-op, and Retreat Farm.

The Carnival committee continues to focus on sponsoring family activities that can take place in and out of your home and throughout the community. Our hope is that you will gather your family and friends and come out and enjoy our events.

Some highlights of this year’s carnival include: Variety Show at the BUHS Auditorium, Cross-Country Skiing/Snowshoeing at the Brattleboro Outing Club (BOC), Skiing & Snowboarding at Living Memorial Park, Ice Skating at the Nelson Withington Skating Facility, Chili Cook-O at Bar 580, Movie Matinees at Latchis, or grabbing your crayons and entering the coloring contest. We are excited about our three new partnerships/activities for 2025: Boys & Girls Club of Brattleboro is o ering a Glow Dance for Teens in grades 9-12, the American Legion Brattleboro Post 5 is o ering a Y2K Party for those 18 and older, and at the Gibson Aiken Center there will be a paint and sip night for teens.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the committee members who continue to use their creative energies to come up with new programs and activities in these challenging times. I would like to personally extend a special thank you to them for volunteering their time to bring these exciting family activities to the 2025 Brattleboro Winter Carnival.

A special thanks goes out to all our 2025 sponsors. Please find a complete listing of our sponsors on our website. We could not do it without your support! Please join us for the 69th year of Winter Carnival Festivities, celebrating our community with a variety of exciting activities! You can check out our website for a complete listing of our activities at www.brattleborowintercarnival.org or you can follow us on our Facebook Page “Brattleboro Winter Carnival”.

Don’t miss out on this beloved community tradition! We cannot wait to see you at one or more of our events.
