Dear Friends, This is a difficult letter to write. It is with sincere regret to inform you that the Southern Berkshire Elderly Transportation Corporation will be closing permanently on September 30th, 2020 after thirty-six years of service to our senior citizens and the disabled of any age. After that date, SBETC will no longer be able to provide transportation to our riders. The decision to close down SBETC was not an easy one. Due to recent circumstances, including the pandemic, we will no longer be able to offer our services to those in need. The health of our riders, drivers, and employees was our highest priority. We have enjoyed and will miss the relationships we have developed with our riders over the years. We would like to thank our many riders because without your loyalty and support, we could not have been so successful. We wish you all the very best. Sincerely, The Southern Berkshire Elderly Transportation Corp.
