New Jersey Realtors® exists to support all segments of its membership, in concert with the local boards and associations of Realtors® and the National Association of REALTORS®, by developing and delivering programs, services and related products which enhances the ability to conduct business successfully and ethically, and to promote the extension and preservation of the right to own, transfer and use real property.

Strategic Area 1: Governance
Strategic Objective 1A - New Jersey Realtors® recognizes the solid foundation launched in the 2017 strategic plan and continuously improves and adjusts to industry and technological changes. • Tactic 1: Annually and proactively modify strategic plan in accordance to a changing real estate landscape. • Tactic 2: Re-evaluate programs being offered on a continuous basis. Strategic Objective 1B – New Jersey Realtors® ensures compliance with core standards of the National Association of REALTORS®. • Tactic 1: Continuously monitor programs and services for compliance.
Strategic Area 1: Advocacy
New Jersey Realtors® aggressively advocates for all things real estate. Strategic Objective 2A: New Jersey Realtors® advocates for property rights through lobbying and community involvement. • Tactic 1: Prioritize issues of importance and continuously adapt the existing unified platform on issues. Strategic Objective 2B: Members comprehend and acknowledge the importance of investing in RPAC. • Tactic 1: Increase awareness of issues that demonstrate value of RPAC by targeting broker involvement, increasing participation rate and encouraging 100% investment from state and local leadership and committee members. Strategic Objective 2C: New Jersey Realtors® is involved with global development initiatives that will encourage global investment in New Jersey real estate. • Tactic 1: Create global alliances through outreach and relationships that will attract global investment in New Jersey real estate.

Strategic Area 1: Community Relations & Service
Strategic Objective 1A – New Jersey Realtors® grows public awareness and appreciation of the Realtor® brand through community outreach programs. • Tactic 1: Further engage Realtor® Party tools, resources and services to better serve our communities. • Tactic 2: Continue to communicate victories and challenges to the public via preferred channels. Strategic Objective 1B – New Jersey Realtors® conducts community campaigns promoting Realtor® value. • Tactic 1: Promote programs and events locally through press releases via local government and media channels. • Tactic 2: Create additional strategic partnerships.

Strategic Objective 2A – New Jersey Realtors® employs continuous improvement initiatives to facilitate user interactions through online and mobile communication. • Tactic 1: Enhance user friendliness of websites by keeping on trend with current technologies. • Tactic 2: Increase usage and amount of online resources available to members. Strategic Objective 2B – New Jersey Realtors® utilizes technology in committee meetings as appropriate when meetings are of greater membership interest. • Tactic 1: Develop technology-based communications with members. • Tactic 2: Develop technology-based videos targeted to broker outreach.

New Jersey Realtors® offers opportunities and resources to enhance development, enhance engagement, and add value to members. Strategic Objective 3A – New Jersey Realtors® conducts broker outreach efforts to showcase the relevance of all association offerings and provides tools for broker development efforts. • Tactic 1: Regularly engage with brokers in person to demonstrate the relevance of programs, products, services, and advocacy initiatives. • Tactic 2: Provide developmental tools for brokers to use, e.g., “how to” series. • Tactic 3: Deliver regular messages targeted to brokers through video or other technology from New Jersey Realtors® studio. • Tactic 4: Survey brokers to gauge current offerings and develop new initiatives. Strategic Objective 3B – New Jersey Realtors® develops programs that demonstrate the value New Jersey Realtors® membership brings to their business. • Tactic 1: Create new professional development programs that address the changing landscape of real estate in New Jersey. Strategic Objective 3C – New Jersey Realtors® enhances the member experience by increasing participation and engagement in programs and services. • Tactic 1: Create a media communication strategy to better promote the benefit of programs and services and offer solutions for roadblocks. • Tactic 2: Employ data analytics to aid in program and service development. Strategic Objective 3D – New Jersey Realtors® continues to offer superior education, training, and networking events. • Tactic 1: Continuously improve existing programs. • Tactic 2: Eliminate non-value added programs.
