8. d i saster recovery You will always be able to reach our office, and your confidential information is always secure. Our clients depend on our responsiveness; our candidates rely on our confidentiality. We rely heavily on our database and communications systems to satisfy both. That is why we have a complete disaster recovery plan for all of our records and documentation, including our proprietary database and phone system. All of our data is totally secure with 256-bit encryption supplied by state-of-the art proprietary software and security safeguards like advanced systems, routers and firewalls to prevent unauthorized access.

In addition to the system and database structure, our data is backed up four times throughout the day, using three different backup software packages. This insures that should one backup fail, we have many flexible options from which to restore our data, leaving us with only a minor disruption for a few hours. Our telephone system is also protected under a disaster recovery plan, so that in the case of an unanticipated incident, the system automatically switches to a pre-programmed virtual system that mimics our own. Our candidates and clients will never be inconvenienced by the inability to call us.

Each night an entire image of our servers and system are backed up at several off-site locations, using a protocol that would allow us to recreate our entire system, within one day should our hardware ever fail.
