From your base in exquisite Chateau d’Oex, a favourite of Newmarket guests for over 35 years, and which offers a host of diversions including an outdoor pool (mid-May to early September), tennis courts, miles of walking trails marked with the famous yellow signposts, as well as a trio of fascinating museums, you’ll get to know this very special country. Included excursions take in the beautiful Bernese Oberland, including ultra-chic Gstaad, picture book Les Diablerets and cheese-making village Gruyères, whilst an included ride on the spectacular GoldenPass train takes you to the fashionable resort of Montreux, with free time to explore. Further optional excursions will take you to the famous resort town of Interlaken, overlooked by the snow-capped Jungfrau range, and spectacular Grindelwald, at the foot of the mighty Eiger.
