Mild and natural shower scrub

For sustainable skin cleansing applications, Lubrizol Life Science has created a variety of formulations, including a natural scrub and surprising shower powder, to offer consumers a quick and easy route to smoother, healthier skin.

The high natural content of the shower scrub (see Table 1 for the formulation), with more than 95 percent of the ingredients coming from natural origin, makes this product mild enough to gently buff away dead skin cells. The ingredients have a favourable biodegradation profile and are sulphate-free and PEG-free.

Key Lubrizol ingredients in the shower scrub are Arbalon R-50 cellulose liquid, which is cold processable, naturally derived and has a high suspension yield; and Sensomer CI-50 polymer, Lubrizol’s naturally derived dry cationic conditioning polymer that offers foam boosting benefits and is also easy to process/cold processable.

Surprising shower powder The surprising shower powder CL-B0155(EU) offers dual benefitsof convenience and sustainability, making it ideal for eco-conscious consumers. This solid product format without added water provides an unexpected and pleasing experience during application.

Lubrizol ingredients included in the formulation are Hydramol TGL ester, a naturally derived ester for humectancy and moisturisation; AlgaPūr HSHO algae oil, a highly stable palm-free fermentation derived oil that provides emolliency and softness during and after washing; Glucamate CCO thickener, which helps to mix both phases of the formulation; and KelcoCare diutan gum, a fermentation derived polysaccharide that provides slipperiness during washing.
