This is my first edition of Travel Newport, and I couldn’t be more excited about it! For a small coastal city, Newport has so much to offer. It has been my pleasure to explore the many wonderful experiences here and to share them with you.
Our miles of sandy beaches are often perfect this time of year for surfing and beachcombing. And if the weather doesn’t cooperate, we have a variety of other places that are equally amazing. You can spend the day adventuring throughout the city, where you’re sure to find the perfect activities to make your vacation great. Or maybe you want to simply enjoy the opportunity to be close to the ocean, relaxing to the soothing sights and sounds that the mighty Pacific provides. Luckily, you don’t have to choose one or the other; you can easily blend them together.
