The time is now
your life experience has value. Whatever path you’ve taken to college, we’re ready to welcome you. The New School understands that your needs are different from those of an 18-year-old undergraduate. That’s why our Bachelor’s Program for Adults and Transfer Students offers you the opportunity to self-design your degree, giving you the freedom and flexibility to tailor your academic path to your unique goals. You’ll have access to the resources of a leading New York City university and support from a faculty advisor every step of the way. Since 1919, The New School has been a center for discussion and instruction for mature and experienced learners. It began offering a bachelor’s degree program for returning veterans and other adults in the 1940s and continues this rich tradition today. Our forward-looking university is composed of five extraordinary schools and colleges, where students across disciplines find the support they need to be a force of collaboration, innovation, and crosscultural expression.
