your life experience has value. Whatever path you’ve taken to college, we’re ready to welcome you. The New School understands that your needs are different from those of an 18-year-old undergraduate. That’s why our Bachelor’s Program for Adults and Transfer Students offers you the opportunity to self-design your degree, giving you the freedom and flexibility to tailor your academic path to your unique goals. You’ll have access to the resources of a leading New York City university and support from a faculty advisor every step of the way. Since 1919, The New School has been a center for discussion and instruction for mature and experienced learners. It began offering a bachelor’s degree program for returning veterans and other adults in the 1940s and continues this rich tradition today.
